EVERNA Arcel Raine's
Brian Storm

Even if his fate had to end here, Arcel would still try to change his fate to the point of blood. To the Demon King alone he did not give up, let alone to the human ones.

What makes Arcel a little surprised is that, unlike all his men, there are no sangar tattoos on the face and body of the plump-blond burly man. Instead, there are blue tattoos like body painting that make it look more like a robot human aka cyborg than humans in general.

“Because you are attractive, I want to know your name,” said the blue striped face. “Call me Brian Storm. You'll probably want to remember it at the gates of the afterlife any minute.”

“Haha, strangely enough, I have just come from the realm between the world and the hereafter,” Arcel responded. “My name is Arcel Raine, and I don't intend to go back there too early.”

Brian's eyes glared, “Is that so? You're getting more interesting. That's why I want to test your strength, one on one.”

Reaffirming his intention, Brian then exclaimed towards all his men, “Nobody interfere! Or I myself will break all the bones of whoever breaks!” He let go of his hostage, the girl with green hair just like that, let his men prevent the girl from escaping.

The girl instead stood up in a calm manner, even impressed relaxed. He smiled, as if watching a good show.

Soon, the siege of Arcel loosened. The thugs gave ample space so that the head of the gang and his opponent could duel freely.

Arcel is still worried about Brian Storm. Although his attitude seems quite knightly, in the fight later he could be going to do unexpected things, sort of stabbing from behind. It was only natural for thugs like him who were used to justifying all means.

“This is the agreement,” said Brian. “If you defeat me or survive my three moves, you and the girl are free to leave. But if not..!” He placed his index finger in front of his neck and made a slicing motion. “How?”

Seeing a pretty clear signal that Arcel replied, “Agreed!”

The two fighters who were a few steps adrift of each other took a swing and put the horses together.

The girl acted as the referee and placed herself between the two fighters. He raised his hand high up on his head, then lowered his hand suddenly while exclaiming, “Start!”

Arcel and Brian lunged forward at the same time, engaging in sell-and-sell blows and kicks. Brian's fist-piercing storm was balanced by Arcel's technique.

Arcel certainly landed more fists and kicks, even with a salto and jump-kick from unexpected corners. But Brian's body is like a fortress of life, the burly man never fell.

Both fighters then ended the first “ronde” by equally launching boxing. Their two fists clashed, and the impact pushed Arcel and Brian backwards. Arcel who was pushed two steps further than Brian then held his palm while grimacing in pain.

“Wah, no power in yes?” satir Brian. “You're not underestimating me, are you?”

“No. You fight fair and manly. Even if I can't beat you, I have to survive. There is something big waiting for me here, I can't die before I know what it is and live it to completion,” replied Arcel while continuing to move as agile as he could.

“Oh, apparently you know yourself too. Then I won't delay either. Try, can you survive this first step!”

While saying so, Brian Storm charged forward. When entering the range of the hand, he launched a series of deep-power fists containing the element of wind. That's the opening line of the Storm Boxing Science series, Mountain Moving Storm.

Instead, Brian's barrage of thunderstorms became more and more crazed, whacking Arcel's body from many directions. Arcel was given no chance to strike back. Finally one of Brian's uppercut fists smashed from his stomach to his chin. Arcel slammed out of control, drifting and collapsing on the ground.

Seeing that, Brian clucked. “Huh, it turns out only keroco. Just wasting my time and energy.” He turned about to leave, letting his men who “work”.

But Arcel stood up and exclaimed, “Wait, Brian Storm! This stall... is not finished!”

Grinning again, Brian turned towards the already bruised opponent. “Good, second move!” yells.

This time, Brian clenched his fist, shooting out a gale of stormy wind like a shockwave. It was a long-range move, Shot Cannon Storm.

Unable to dodge, Arcel again fended off the attack with a pair of arms. Unmercifully, the storm of shock waves pushed him backwards again. Arcel's back hit the wall of the building. He collapsed again and lay on the ground, shaking.

Brian was angry again. He shrugged his shoulders and two hands. Plus his pouting face, he was clearly showing dissatisfaction.

“I've had enough training with that guy,” Brian said to his men. “As much as you want what he and..”.

“Wait a minute!” yell Arcel again. This time he was half-kneeling, one hand holding his chest all over his body getting bloody. “You still owe me a third straight, Brian!”

“Already, a loser like you has no right to sue. You and the girl just surrender in the hands of my men!”

“Huh, then you're the same as regular keroco,” said Arcel. “If your words and your promises are unbelievable, I'm not sure you're the leader of them all.”

“Already lost, still spicy mouth too!” Brian grunting. “Look, try this one full-power fist from me! Dodging means cowardice!”

“Please!” Arcel clenched his hands together and roared, gathering all his effort and energy. Vaguely, visible scars all over his body since he became a knight first. Both of his legs stretched forward and back, ready to support his body that would withstand the force of the attack.

“Help this!” Brian Storm's fist rippled, as if splitting the air. He concentrated enough energy on his fist, twisting the body in a semicircle, adding kinetic power to multiply the power of the punch.

This is one of Brian Storm's flagship moves, the Storm Whirl Core.

Arcel gathered all the rest of his inner strength into the middle of his body, then welcomed the opponent's fist roundly. The resistance he did was only his two hands punching the opponent's wrist very quickly.

“Free it! Led!” Brian Storm increased his fist power by twisting the body again. The kinetic entanglement it generates triggers an explosion that is not large, but much more powerful.

Hit by an explosion, the opponent's body slammed high, even like a first-line in the air before falling on the street. After that, there was absolutely no movement from Arcel.

Could Arcel Raine have been killed?
