Flashback 5 Years Ago (Dining Together)

After the return of Fatur from the hospital made himself a more quiet person, rarely spoke if not spoken to by his mother and brother. The change is increasingly visible when Anggita rejects him, Fatur's feelings some days are very chaotic. Moreover, knowing his father had come several times to visit his home made Fatur even more upset.

After Fatur came back from campus to see his mother was very busy in the kitchen. "You ate together, right?" asked her mother when Fatur was about to step away from the kitchen.

Fatur continued to move his feet towards his room, opened the door of the room violently and closed it so tight that a very loud sound of a knock was heard. His mind floated somewhere it felt Fatur could not if he had to have dinner one table with his father later tonight.

When Fatur was daydreaming sitting on the mattress suddenly heard the sound of his bedroom door ringing, his daydream broke because of that sound. Fatur could guess if it was his mother who would invite him to dinner. Fatur quickly opened the door of his room and saw his mother standing in front of his door.

"What's wrong?" fatur asked in a slightly firm tone looking at his mother who was not allowed to enter by Fatur.

"Your new father came, let's have dinner together," invited his mother in a hopeful tone to Fatur.

Fatur's mouth was silent when his mother informed him of his father's arrival, a coming that Fatur had never expected until now. But Fatur also did not want to make his mother sad, Fatur could imagine if he had to sit together facing dinner with his father.

Some time Fatur was silent thinking what to do, but honestly Fatur really missed being together with his father. The rare time that Fatur had once had with his papa.

"I'm not hungry yet, Ma. I'm tired of taking a break for a while, mommy and sister first I'll catch up."

Tias Ayu was very disappointed to hear Fatur's words, he could not force if Fatur did not want to come to dinner with him.

"Alright if you don't want to come, but mama really hope you come to dinner with us," said Tias Ayu hope while leaving Fatur who still stands sculpting.

The atmosphere in the dining room was so awkward and stiff, the three people were silent to each other in silence no conversation between them. It feels like only this time the three of them have just tasted dinner together again after so long. There is sadness and heartache if Tias Ayu remembers his past, as well as Mili who at mealtime must be as fighting over a rice spoon with Fatur. Tias Ayu, Rudi and Mili had already sat together for the night in the dining room, the three of them enjoying the dinner that Tias Ayu had prepared. Rudi's heart is very happy and sad because it can eat together again after a long time, although this evening Fatur did not take part in dinner together but did not reduce the happiness of Rudi to be able to eat dinner together with his ex-wife and his first daughter.

"I made you your favorite food" Mili told her father as his eyes began to explore the cuisine on the table.

Just as the three of them were about to start dinner, Fatur suddenly came over and sat down beside Mili. Seeing the arrival of Fatur made the three of them speechless and shocked by the arrival of Fatur who had eaten together. Fatur sat without talking but made his mother and father very happy even though Fatur did not talk but he wanted to eat together. Rudi's eyes stared fixedly at his son with eyes that began to glaze over. Time passed so quickly that Rudi did not realize that his little hero had now turned into a very handsome and mature man.

"Don't you think I went to the grave together which means I forgive you! I only respect mama who is tired of making food" Fatur said firmly to his papa.

Rudi just smiled at Fatur's words, it doesn't matter to Rudi whatever the reason for his son. Yang Rudi knew at this moment he was very happy to see so clearly and closely the son and daughter. Tonight was a very happy night for Rudi, but not for Fatur who had to struggle with his past wounds.
