Forced Marriage Alea

Forced Marriage Alea
PPA 146# Rutan Kejagung

"Why are we here, Mas?" aela asked as she set foot in the parking lot of the South Jakarta Attorney General's Office.

Ravka just kept quiet and invited the girl into the building located somewhat at the back of the Attorney General's office complex. After passing a series of examinations, the two were asked to wait.

"Mass?" A thousand questions seemed to rub Alea's face.

"We will meet the person responsible for Yuri's current condition," Ravka replied finally filling the void before the person they would meet was presented there.

"I don't understand at all, Mas" Alea said demanding more explanation.

"We're going to meet someone who tried to kill Yuri. Currently, the case file has been submitted to violence. He's just waiting for the trial time, after the prosecution completes the dossier and completes the investigation into the case."

Alea's heart thumped as she realized that she would soon be reunited with someone who stirred up emotions in her. Never imagined by Alea, how could someone so hard try to take the lives of others.

A shadow of Yuri's condition just flashed by. The last time her husband met a friend during school, Yuri was still in bad shape. A crack in her cranium makes it difficult for the girl to get her memory back, because her brain cannot be forced to work too hard.

Alea could only pray that Yuri would improve and be able to move as usual despite having to go through a series of treatments that would take time. He hopes that Yuri will still be given a second chance to live out her day. Currently, the poor girl has begun to be reunited with her family, although she does not remember any of her family members.

"What are you guys here for?" a cynical voice pierced Alea's eardrum.

A cold aura filled with hatred, emanated from the two eyes of the female wearing the red prisoner vest. Forcibly, the woman sat on the bench in front of Ravka and Alea, separated by a table.

"You?" desia Alea looked at the woman who was sitting while throwing a piercing glare.

The woman who had made Alea amazed by the elegant and glamorous appearance that was equipped with a smooth and friendly speech, now looked cute and messy. His face was plain without any makeup polish, further making the woman look pale. Plus dark circles with eye bags seem so clearly framing his eyes. Fatigue also lingered there making Alea's heart full of pity.

However, emotions instantly overwhelm Alea when she realizes that the woman before her is what makes Yuri's condition the way it is now. Makes that sense of pity evaporate imprudently. Alea then returned the sharp gaze of the woman with a similar fierce look.

"This is me, the one who has trapped you," the woman chimed unceremoniously with a defiant look.

There was no guilt on his face. He just wanted to vent his anger because the pair of human children in front of him had sent him to prison. Dozens of years struggling with the criminal world, making him increasingly skilled in the profession as a hitman. All types of dirty work can always be completed cleanly without leaving a trace until it always manages to escape.

However, he did not expect a job with abundant pay this time, instead bringing him crouching behind bars. He is very aware, once caught there will be no gap for him to escape. Even the fear of an old case coming back to light continues to haunt.

"I didn't expect a beautiful woman who was almost as sprightly as you to be able to kill someone" Alea sighed.

"I could even finish off one weak woman like you, if only I hadn't been held here" she replied.

"Dragon's talking" said Ravka, tightening her jaw muscles.

If only he did not remember still having to extract information from the depraved woman in front of him, of course Ravka had dissipated his emotions hearing the threat posed by this shameless woman in front of him.

"You think I don't know, that no one will ever mind your existence and meet you in this damned place. So stop being power-mongering in front of me. You need my pity to keep you from being sentenced to death," exclaimed Ravka putting pressure on every word spoken.

"I would be very happy to face the death penalty," challenged the woman not to be intimidated by Ravka's bluff.

"What's wrong with Yuri, that you want to kill her?" sambar Alea did not want to prolong the woman's debate with her husband.

He needs to hear all the explanations for what happened that night.

"Nothing, he just can't be arranged. I have given him a lot of money so that he will obey all my orders. But, the foolish girl did not stop saying sorry about what she had done. I just don't want to risk my plan falling apart because of it" the woman replied casually without regret tucked into her tone.

"You do not have a heart" Alea said with a tone of voice starting to rise.

"This work that I am engaged in does not require a heart, Miss. I think you're too innocent. You even stand up for someone who set you up? What irony," said the woman with a mocking laughter.

"At least the person you call that stupid girl, still has a heart. You know, you're not just trying to take one life. But you also took a child from his mother. An older brother who became the focus of his younger siblings." Alea further sharpened her gaze.

Ale took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. Trying to calm the heart that is getting hotter. He knew very well, Yuri was the backbone of the family after the departure of his father who disappeared somewhere. He and his mother left him and three younger siblings who were still in school.

That was what made Alea get close to Yuri. The similarity that they have to bone down to support themselves. However, Yuri is more fortunate with a high posture makes it easier for her to be a model, so that she can get a job that produces large coffers to support herself and her family. He did not expect, Yuri's life would end tragically like now.

"You're very funny" said the woman. "You're even more stupid than that girl. Do you know what he did to you? He sold you to me. I gave him a reward big enough to bring you to me. And now you're defending him. You're a real fool." The woman's laughter grew.

"At least being a fool is much better than being a cruel heartless woman like you" Alea said.

"Have the lecture finished? If I want to go back to my cell," said the woman indifferently.

"I have one offer for you," sambar Ravka quickly before the woman moved from her seat.
