Forced Marriage Alea

Forced Marriage Alea

The series of words simply flowed from Alea's tiny mouth, telling her how she was ignored by her husband. Not a few ways he tried to start a conversation with Ravka, but always ended with a tired whack. Tired of spending the day with someone who sleeps in one bed but never thinks it exists.

"You know what it's like to have your dream waving in the eye, shattered in an instant? That's how I felt when I was forced to marry. But at least I can still dream, they repeat the dream and try to reach for it again. But maybe not for Mas Ravka, the pain he suffered was probably more than me. I can understand why her attitude has become like that" Alea said with a glaring gaze far past the horizon.

"It's not easy, brother, to change others who can't appreciate your kindness. Look at Mama and Papa who even until now have never been nice to you,"

"What about you and Brother Farash? You can accept me, even though you hated me before"

Kania took a deep breath. Arguing with Alea should indeed have a lot of ammunition. It was not easy to break Alea's conviction. In her petite body, she did look like a weak girl, but she had a determination and a soul as hard as steel.

Kania approached Alea and played with the refreshing water on her skin. "Until when will you continue to suffer? It should have been Kak Al reaping the goodness that Kak Al has planted all this time,"

"It's not me or you who can decide when I deserve it. I made my own promise in Lauhul Mahfudz, I live in it now. Have you ever heard that God will not test beyond the limits of his people? That means the test I'm facing right now is the level of the test I can pass,"

"But until when do you have to receive ill-treatment in this house?"

"You don't worry Kania, I'm quite realistic. If all my struggles were impossible for me to achieve, I would retreat. At least I tried. Let time answer them all," A sense of relief flowed within Alea's chest after pouring out everything in her heart. Only to Kania, Alea could tell her inner pain other than to the Khalik who ruled the entire universe. A place for him to share his joys and sorrows. At least in this world there are still people who care so much about him. That already made Alea happy.

"I want to spend a good time with you. Not just to mourn fate. Let's eat until we're full" Alea dragged Kania's hand back to the gazebo.

"This is actually Brother Al who cooked everything?" Kania frowned both of her eyebrows in disbelief.

"Of course there's no way I can prepare this all by myself. You know, this family employs three of the best chefs in the fire from a five-star restaurant,"

"You're serious, brother? Every day we eat at the restaurant?" Impatiently Kania devoured the food that had already published her saliva.

Food can change the mood of someone who is in a mess. The talk of a life that feels heavy as if it evaporates just like that. Replacing with laughter commenting on every mouthful that spoils the tongue.

"This is not the appearance that is delicious in view, it really tastes good. You are very lucky Kak can eat good food like this every day," said Kania with a mouth full of food.

"You are very unstable Dek, you said my luck was bad, now even say I am very lucky," Alea said casually.

Suddenly Kania laughed out loud, he held his stomach which began to cramp because it could not stop laughter realizing his words were ironic. Kania wiped both corners of her watery eyes from laughing a lot.

Alea drifted away laughing at her way of life. At the same time, the pain can make him laugh. He just needs to change the way he looks at things so as not to fall into sadness.

***************

"I'm going home first, brother. In the afternoon, I will often stop by here so you will not be lonely in a house this big," said Kania rose from his seat.

"You want me to eat, do you want to eat?"

"And that's the bonus, hehehee," Kania grinned the horse. Caught off guard with the planned intention.

"Oh yes Kan, I want to ask for your help huh. Please get me the kebaya stitches in the usual place. The stitches I had left before I got married back then" Alea said as a memory reminder in her head flashed across her mind at the time.

"Any for what?" Ask Kania astonished.

"Next week I'm graduating from Kania" Alea said with a happy twinkle. "I'll officially become a scholar,"

"Oh yeah? That's next week? I'll clear my schedule then, so I can accompany Kak Al at graduation later,"

"Truly yes. Look out Deck, if you forget,"

"Yes, my dear sister," said Kania as she pinched Alea's two cheeks. Somehow Kania likes to pinch Alea's thick cheeks that are shorter than her. Sometimes Alea's face was so adorable and looked like Kania's sister. But Alea's attitude and way of thinking really far exceeded her young age.

The two girls headed towards the main door. Still cool chatting and laughing together, while making plans to celebrate the bachelor's degree that will soon be held by Alea.

"Sister? she who?" Kania asked who suddenly stopped her steps. His eyes were fixed on a girl who had just passed up the stairs towards the second floor.

"Oh that's Sandra, Mas Ravka's youngest brother. You familiar?"

"Lately I've seen him come to my college. He seemed to be close to my college friend, Rama. Brother Al must remember him to be careful with Rama. He's not a good guy. Many women have been victims of their violence. Instead of feeling ashamed, the man was proud to have damaged many girls" Kania said with a stifled growl. He had long heard of the man's actions. He had almost been his victim. Luckily, the Almighty still saves his soul so that it can be avoided from danger.

"I'm not sure I can warn Sandra, but I will" Alea said, watching Sandra from a distance until her back disappeared behind the wall.

"Oia Kania, if you can help keep an eye on them while Sandra is at your college. Tell Big Brother that there is a bad reaction from your friend," Kania only nodded at his cousin's request. He also felt unbearable if until Sandra also became a victim of men like Rama.
