Nadira stopped his steps right in front of a building that was not too big. He took a deep breath. Trying to calm a rumbling heart jerking the chest tight. The girl exhaled slowly as the heart rhythm beat more calmly.
"The spirit of Nadira, you certainly can," he said slowly gave strength to himself to keep going.
The tall girl again swung her legs toward the building that was plastered in front of her and approached a Security Officer who was standing guard there.
"Excuse me, sir," Nadira greeted in a somewhat quivering voice.
"Yes ... What is it, Ma'am?" ask the Security Officer with the Wardi sign on the right chest.
"I have an interview call here" replied Nadira hesitantly.
"Oh yeah, whose mom was asked to see who?" ask the Security Officer again.
"Pak Aldi" said Nadia.
"Let's follow me" said the young man as he entered the office building that read De' Advertising.
Once inside the building, Wardi asked Nadira to wait in the lobby. The girl then landed her body on a padded foam-padded chair in front of a table occupied by a young woman.
Nadira again breathed slowly while circulating his gaze around the room filled with various kinds of advertisements on paper media in the figura. Advertisements in the form of word lines and images that adorn every inch of the walls of the room, enough to help Nadira ward off nervous ambush.
Nadira is not a young girl who has just graduated from school. For more than three years he completed his undergraduate education at a leading private university in Jakarta. However, being born in a wealthy family makes him minimal work experience.
Twenty-six years of his life, Nadira always bergelimang property, until it never crossed his mind to work to produce rupiah coffers to meet the needs of daily life that he once considered nothing.
"Let's Mbak, follow me," the reprimand from Wardi shocked Nadira whose mind had begun to wander.
He lifted his body from the bench that was being occupied. Nadira was determined to meet someone who would interview him. The girl briefly threw a smile at the young woman sitting behind the table as their eyes cluttered, before following the steps of the man in the black white uniform who walked first in front of her.
"Please, Ma'am," said Wardi invited Nadira to enter a room whose door had been opened wide by the man.
"Good morning" said Nadira, smiling at the man in the room.
"Morning," replied the man flat expressionlessly. "Please come in" continued the man, moving the map on his side to the table. He then turned his gaze to Nadira who was walking closer to his desk.
The man held out his hand just before Nadira landed her body in the chair opposite the chair she was in. Nadira welcomed the helping hand and shook it tightly. Although he had never passed a job interview session like this, one thing Nadira understood, the first impression he had to instill in order to smooth his way to get a job.
A soft but steady hand shake will always leave an impression during a job interview. It shows the sincerity and confidence that the job applicant has in synergy with the work ethic.
"Please sit down" said the man at his desk with a signboard that read Aldiga Danupraja.
"Sherly Nandira .. " added Aldi while taking back the map he had placed and targeting the contents.
"Alright Miss Sherly ... "
"Nadira .." cut Nadira quickly before Aldi continues his speech. The girl saw the man frowning in wonder at his attitude. "I prefer to be called Nadira" Nadira continued in a definite tone.
"Okay, Nadira ... Look, I'm pretty interested in your curriculum vitae. It's just that I didn't find a single diploma in the file you sent," Aldi said directly to the point.
Nadira's heart seemed twisted when Aldi asked what had haunted him all morning. It has been some time since Nadira has difficulty finding a job because he does not have a diploma at all. Even just for a diploma as a notification that he has finished High School only Nadira does not keep it.
However, Kemal assured him that this would not be a problem. He said that Aldi was his friend and already knew the outline of the problem that involved the young girl. Nadira will be accepted to work thanks to a new male connection in recent months, becoming someone who means enough to him.
The girl's face still looks pias. The pink hue seemed to disappear from the joy that he had been proud of. Replacing deathly pale because he did not find an answer that he could throw at Aldi.
"Ma-sorry, Sir ... Sa-I ... " Nadira hangs his sentence when nervousness directly attacks the heart.
The girl's fingers twisted each other behind the table, as she tried to shake off the nervousness and search the vocabulary inside her cerebrum. However, he did not find a vocabulary that could be thrown as an excuse.
"No need to worry" Aldi said quickly when he realized the panic emanated from the look of the beautiful girl in front of him. "I've told you a lot about you. I just wanted to make sure of it," Aldi paused his sentence. He watched closely the figure of the girl in front of him who seemed to be trying hard to cover the sudden feeling of panic. A doubtful smile decomposed on her thin, cracked lips.
"This is Miss Nadira ... Because the issue of this diploma is quite complicated actually. I'm able to hire you here, it's just that I can't make you an employee."
The man seemed to catch his breath as he paused his sentence. Making the wrinkles on Nadira's face deepened. His heart was tingled to open a question that filled the contents of the head. It's just that he held it in order to hear a lengthy explanation from Aldi.
"I can only accept you as an intern here" Aldi explained.
"Internship employee?" the question that Nadira could not bear just slid from her lips.
How could a woman his age just be an intern at a small company that even the legal entity alone might still be in the form of a CV, thought Nadira struggling.
"But don't worry, you will still receive the rights like other employees. You will still get a salary that matches your workload. Likewise with other employee rights such as overtime and incentives. Just his status as an intern, so as not to cause problems for the company in the future. I'm sorry, but this is all I can do." The man ended his talk.
Nadira gasped, the job interview session this time was not as imagined by him. Without further ado, the interviewer immediately explained his position if working in the office.
Nadira again sighed expelling the sense that shackled the soul. There was no more prestige to be maintained. At least he can earn income. What kind of job can he get, without a diploma that makes a list of his life history has value? Nadira.
"alright, Sir. I've understood. Will I be accepted to work here if I accept an offer as an intern?" nadira asked at last. Although the girl was aware, her status as an intern would be detrimental to her.
Not only will he never be able to have a position in the company, he can even easily be removed by the company. There are no worker rights that he can get like the employees in general. As an intern, the job bond will be easily broken unilaterally without accompanying compensation.
"Of course," Aldi replied as he threw a faint smile.
Afterwards, the young man explained the description of the work to be done by Nadira in the small company that is still relatively new. The company has a total of thirty employees.
