Chapters. 20. A Covenant.

Zeva was silent when she heard what Gavin said, her brain was trying to digest the man's words.

Gavin immediately rested at Zeva's feet making the woman jump in shock. "You know I love you so much, Zeva! Don't break my heart like this, we love each other!"

Zeva looked at Gavin sadly, to be honest she still loved him very much. But what else now? "Sorry, Gavin! I, I'm married, there's no way we're-"

"You don't love her, Zeva! So why are you keeping that marriage!"

Zeva was silent at Gavin's words, suddenly she remembered what Mama Audy had told her.

After finishing the bath, Zeva laid her body on the bed while replying to a message from Gavin.

"Eat!" Arion gave a plate of omlete with rice towards him. "You haven't had dinner yet!"

Zeve was stunned to hear what the man said. "You're making dinner for me?"

"No, I made it for myself. But there's still left!"

Unknowingly, Zeva's lips curved into a smile, she then ate the food in front of her.

When she was done, Zeva took the dirty plate to the sink. Arion was sitting in front of the tv, but the man's eyes were busy on the phone.

Arion immediately turned his gaze towards the source of the voice, as Zeva was walking towards him.

"There's something I want to tell you, what, do you have time?"

Arion nodded his head immediately. "Tell me!"

Zeva turned to sit on the sofa in front of Arion. "Look, I, I want to make a deal with you!"

Arion frowned in confusion. "A pact?"

"Yes, I want to make a pact about our marriage!"

Arion still does not understand what Zeva is talking about, is there a treaty in marriage?

"I, I want our relationship to stay like this, and nothing more. You know that our relationship is through an arranged marriage, so, so I haven't been able to accept you as my husband!" Zeva lowered her head with her hands interlocked.

"i, I want us not to have a husband and wife relationship like any other couple. And, and also .. Our marriage will be over in a year's time!"
