Chapters. 56. Happiness and Pain.

"Zeva!"

Arion awakens from his sleep while having a strange dream about Zeva, his chest moving up and down with gasping breaths.

Brakes.

"Master!" Haris ran into the room and walked over to Arion. He who had just come out of the room jumped in shock upon hearing the male screams.

"Drink first, sir." Haris gave a glass of water that was immediately drunk until it was finished by Arion, he then put the empty glass back on the table. "Are you all right, sir?"

Arion immediately looked towards Haris sharply. "No, I'm not okay." He shook his head with a hand palpating the chest area that was throbbing pain. "Where's Zeva?"

Deg.

Haris was silent when he heard Arion's question, his face suddenly turned pale like it was not being drained by blood.

"Why shut up? Where-" Arion was unable to continue his words when suddenly a memory flashed through his head, which was when Zeva shouted to call his name.

Arion's heart was racing again as one by one last night ran around in his head, his body shaking violently as he managed to remember all the events that had happened.

"No, I have to find him,"

"Master!"

Arion gets out of bed to look for Zeva. "Sh." Just two steps he hissed in pain while holding his head making Haris immediately return to take him to bed.

"Take me off, Haris. I have to find Zeva,"

"Our men are looking for him, sir. So it's better-"

"No. I should have looked for him myself, I'm sure he's waiting for me right now." Arion tries to get back up but his head feels like it's about to break.

"I'll call the Doctor, sir." Haris immediately calls Lavaro's family's personal doctor and says Arion's current condition.

"I have to find Zeva, Haris. Hurry and help me." Arion kept trying to get up by holding on to the side of the bed.

"We'll look for it after you've been examined by the Doctor, Sir." Haris held Arion's hand from the bed.

"But Haris, Zeva-"

"Stop worrying about him, sir!"

Ation's body jumped in shock upon hearing Haris's scream, for the first time the man yelled at her.

"I'm sure Miss would be fine, but you. How could you possibly want to look for it in such a situation? Please think of yourself first before thinking of anyone else!" haris shouted again, he was really annoyed at the hardness of Arion's head.

Arion was immediately silent when he heard Haris' words, while Haris who was newly aware of what he was doing immediately lowered his head in lethargy.

Arion glanced at Haris who was bowed beside him, he knew that right now the man must be sorry for yelling at him. "You're right, Haris. I have to be in good health if I want to find Zeva, I'm sure she'll be at her friend's house.

Haris immediately raised his head and looked towards Arion. "I'm sorry, sir. I didn't mean to"

"Aw, my head hurts so much, Haris,"

"A-are you okay, Mister?" Haris immediately panicked when he saw Arion in such pain, while Arion immediately smiled broadly at the man's panicked face.

Haris who realized that he had been deceived by Arion immediately grumbled furiously. "What, this? Have I been deceived by someone?" He clasped his chest while looking at Arion sharply

"No, I'm not cheating." Arion laid his body on the bed. "Now bring the Doctor to me, my head really hurts."

"Bright, sir." Haris came straight out of the room to wait for the arrival of the Doctor he had called earlier.

"Huh." Arion closed his eyes with his hands over his head, and tears suddenly flowed from both corners of his eyes. "Where are you, Zeva? Did you go back to your parents' house?" He was frustrated with what was happening right now.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have been selfish in doing all that. I'm sorry, Zeva. I'm so sorry."

That's human nature. They are given the brain to think before doing something, but eventually the brain is lost to the ego that makes everything destroyed and ends with regret.

"Master, the doctor's here." Haris and a Doctor enter Arion's room and make him open his eyes.

"What's up, sir? Why are you getting sick like this?" A middle-aged man named Abi sat on the chair beside the bed, he was the personal Doctor of the Lavaro family.

"I'm still human, Uncle. If robots wouldn't be sick."

The middle-aged man chuckled amusedly. "Yes yes, I just realized that you are a human being."

Arion stared bitterly, but he remained silent and was reluctant to reply to the middle-aged man's endless words.

Abi then checked the condition of Arion's entire body, he also took a sample of the man's blood so that it could be examined further.

"You drink too much alcohol, sir. Are you not aware that your current health condition is worrying enough?"

"In addition to stomach infections, there is one thing I always remind you of, which is about alcoholic beverages. I've said before, that the good cells in your body directly attack vital organs when exposed to alcohol. That's a disorder that could take your life someday,"

"What?"

Everyone jumped in shock when they heard someone shouting, they immediately looked at the door where Mom Audy and Papa Ben were standing there.

"Master, Madam." Haris immediately retreated his body, as did Doctor Abi who got up from his seat.

"Darling!" Mama Audy walked over to Arion and sat down next to the son. "What happened, why did you get like this?" He felt very sad to see the condition of the son like that.

"I'm fine, Ma,"

"Okay, you wait a minute. Let me make you some really good food." Mama Audy got up and got out of the room.

"Oh yeah, where's Zeva? Is he leaving?" Mama Audy stopped in front of the door and looked back.

"Yes, my wife is gone,"

"alright. I'll go back to the kitchen." He then returned to the kitchen.

After the examination, Dr. Abi prescribes drugs and vitamins that must be taken. He then decided to go back to the hospital.

"I'm sorry to redeem the medicine first, sir." Haris came out of the room after getting a nod from them.

Now Arion and Papa Ben live in that room. For a moment the atmosphere became silent, both papa Ben and Arion were like immersed in their respective minds.

"What's the matter to the point that you want to kill yourself, Arion?" Finally papa Ben raised his voice, but since then he was waiting for his son who first told him.

Arion let out a heavy sigh, he then looked at the papa sharply for wanting to say something. "My wife is gone." That's what he wanted to say to Papa.

"Will he come back again?"

"I don't know."

Papa Ben sat in front of Arion who is currently leaning on the bed, it is clear that his son is currently in a frustrating mode.

"Listen, Arion. As long as you build a household with your mom, you don't have to do anything romantic. Papa also never gave a gift that he really liked, not only that. Papa never even said that papa loved him so much." Papa Ben smiled at what he said.

"But do you know why you never did any of that?"

Arion shook his head. As a child, he spent a lot of time with his father. Both at home and in the company, but after adulthood. He rarely talked to the father, especially with a myriad of endless work.

"Papa holds a principle about romance, Arion. But well, don't know if it's true or not."

Arion chuckled at his papa's words. "Did you intend to teach me the wrong love?"

"Of course, the wrong one will be much more enjoyable to the story." Papa Ben blinked one eye. "If you can't bring happiness, at least don't hurt him."

Arion was silent when he heard his papa's words, he knew that at this time the papa was looking to discuss a very serious problem.

"Whoever is a lover or a wife, just focused on how to make their partner happy. They keep giving the whole world away so that the couple is very happy, even they will continue to do so,"

"But the real thing in a bond is pain. Because of the indigo of a speck, the milk is broken. You've heard that phrase, haven't you?"

Arion nodded his head making papa Ben smile widely. "That's a very deep expression. Where because of one mistake, all the good that has been done will be lost instantly. All the gifts will be instantly gone when we cut the wounds on them. I hope you understand what you're saying." Papa Ben pats Arion on the shoulder.

"Focus on anything that can hurt your wife, and try to get rid of the pain as far as possible. Because if you do that, then happiness will come by itself."

Arion really felt smitten with what his papa said, because all that papa Ben said was the same as what he was doing right now.

"You're an adult, Arion. But I'm sure you can't understand how you really are. So, before you try to understand others, then do it yourself first. And if you feel guilty, then the first thing you have to do is apologize to yourself."

Unknowingly, Arion's tears kept coming out from both of his eyes. Every word that Papa Ben spoke really slapped his heart. How he gave all happiness to Zeva, then immediately destroyed the woman's life to the point of being unceremonious.

Mama Audy who had been standing at the door shed her tears, she was completely moved by what her husband had said to their son.

"I've never demanded anything from you, honey. Because everything that's on you, it's been more than what I wanted."
