Chapters. 7. A Choice.

Zeva and Mama Zara jumped in shock when they heard Mama Audy's voice, they immediately stood up when they saw the middle-aged woman's whereabouts.

"A-audy? Here, it's not what you think!"

Mama Zara immediately approached her, while Zeva lowered her head while firmly smashing her hands.

Mama Audy was silent, she looked at Zeva sharply and then exhaled a rough breath. "Please eat your food, baby! After that, meet Mama in the room!" She smiled at Mama Zara and then left the place.

Mama Zara closed her eyes at a glance, her head felt throbbing with what was happening at this moment. "God, why is everything like this?" He feels really si*al.

Zeva herself remained silent with her chest pounding hard, only married 1 day, but her marriage was already on the edge.

"alright, whatever they want to get angry or whatever, I don't care! If they were angry and wanted to divorce me, it would be even better!"

Yeah, it's all gonna be a lot better for him. Even though she had to bear the status of a widow, it was much more than being with a man she did not love.

Zeva clenched her hands together, apparently they were already standing at the door of Mama Audy's room.

Without answering Mama Zara's words, Zeva just knocked on the door of the room and immediately entered when she heard the answer from inside.

"You've come? Here, sit next to Mama!" Mama Audy patted the place beside her making Zeva walk slowly towards her.

Mama Audy clasped her daughter-in-law's hands together, then pulled Zeva to sit next to her. "Did Arion treat you well?"

Zeva was nervous, her heart pounding hard upon hearing the question from Mama Audy.

"Honey, Mama can see everything from the look on your face. You must really have been forced to marry Arion!"

"But he treats me well, Ma!" Somehow Zeva's mouth moved on its own and said such a thing.

Mama Audy smiled. "Thank God it was like that, even though he was quiet and stiff. But Arion is a good man, he is also my pride!"

Zeva looked at the face of her father-in-law who was smiling widely, it was clear that the middle-aged woman loved her son very much.

"You know Zeva, Arion is a very stubborn man. He was also very difficult to approach, much colder in nature than his father!"

Zeva listened to Mama Audy's story seriously, at least she should know how her husband's nature and character were.

"Since childhood, he was required to always be perfect in any case. He has been shaped in such a way as the heir to our family, that there is so much burden for him to bear!" Mama Audy took a deep breath before continuing.

"He never played again after he was 10 years old, he was forced to keep learning in order to lead the company. My Arion, my Arion grew up being forced by circumstances!"

Mama Audy shed tears, she remembered very well how the days that her son had to live. However, he couldn't do anything. All of that is for the good of many people, for the sake of a large company that has thousands of employees.

Zeva looks at Mama Audy with sadness, inexplicably she feels sad when she hears Arion's story. He himself knows what it feels like to be tormented because it continues to be restrained, until it feels like he can't breathe.

"When he finds out about your match, he just quietly listens. Mama asked about her opinion, and she just said that her parents' choice must be the best!"

Zeva feels slapped when she hears Arion's reaction to their matchmaking, inversely proportional to what he did.

"Mama wouldn't force it, if you knew you didn't want this wedding. Of course you'll be against it too, you don't want to get hurt!"

Zeva brushed both hands firmly, she felt very guilty about what happened before.

"Now that all has happened, Mama is asking for a little understanding from you. If you really want to part with Arion, then do it after a few months of your marriage. Arion will definitely get hurt if you split up now!"

Zeva was silent, she tried to think about what Mama Audy said when she had not thought about the breakup.

"Think about it, and give your mom an answer in a few days!"
