Meet the Former-In-Law

Today the supermarket is not too crowded, so Kei and mama are more free to shop. Mama was sorting apples when Hardan called Kei.

"What is it, baby? tanyakanya.

"Same monthly shopping mama...."

Kei laughed broadly "Oh yes ma, later before returning home, Hardan invite us to lunch together."

"Mama... Hardan was not like that." elak Kei but could not hold back his laughter. Hardhan's comparison with the boars is far away.

Kei stopped at the medicine section, his eyes searched for the vitamin that Hardhan had asked for, then put it on his grocery trolley.

Finishing completing the payment at the cashier, Kei asks Upin and Ipin to move his groceries into the car, while Kei and mama drive around the mall.

"Now it's 11 Kei... How about we go to the salon first.." suggested mama.

"Good idea ma... Yuk.." Kei replied excitedly, it has been a long time since he went to the salon, at least the salon that is in the mall. It feels different from a private salon at Hardan's house.

"Keilani.." greeting someone behind him, Kei immediately turned his body towards the person, who turned out Inge and his mother Galang.

"the indge... Mama. ." say hello to Kei.

"Don't call me mama again, you're not my daughter-in-law anymore." growled Galang.

"Who are they Kei?" ask mama.

Kei is awkward to answer, mama did know Kei had been married before, but still mention the ex-in-law and the second wife of her ex-husband seems not good to hear.

"He's my ex-daughter-in-law." cut off Galang's mama,

"My son divorced her because she was barren. Looks like you're not pregnant yet, Kei... You see this.." Her former in-laws stroked Inge's enlarged belly "A week my granddaughter will be born" she said proudly.

"Ma... Never mind...." Kei.

"Indeed she's barren... Two years with my son but not pregnant, look at my daughter-in-law... Once was a success."

Inge was about to attack Kei again, but the new Upin Ipin immediately held him back. Kei saw Upin Ipin running as fast as he could. Their faces were pale, probably afraid that Hardhan would scold them, for not keeping Kei well. Kei will talk to Hardan later if Upin Ipin is not wrong.

"Take them to the police station... I'll sue him for defamation.." mama ordered.

"Who defames you?!" ask Inge annoyed.

Mama looked at Inge and Kei's former in-laws alternately "You have evidence that my daughter-in-law is barren?" ask mama.

"No need for proof, she's proof that two years can't get pregnant." elak mama-in-law.

"That means your accusation is not based on corroborating evidence, and that includes slander. I'll make sure my son sues you!" threatening mom.

With a nod of his head, mama orders Upin and Ipin to take them.

"Not yet... Now let's find a restaurant for lunch, Hardan's hunt will come."
