Since Logan is not in place, Matthew comes to the office to supervise the company. He was approached by a guest at an inopportune time.
Matthew, who was focusing on his laptop, suddenly had to turn his head for a moment because his assistant knocked on the door and entered his room.
"What's up, Mr Aaron?" ask, then glance at the laptop screen again.
"Sir, someone wants to see you" replied Mr. Aaron.
"Who?" matthew asked without turning his eyes away.
"I."
Matthew's fingers stopped typing as soon as he heard the voice of a woman familiar to his ears. Then, he glanced towards the arrival of the voice, found a woman in a middle-aged bule, dressed fashionably, shoulder-length blonde hair, still looking beautiful and youthful for women around 60 years.
"You still remember me, don't you, Matthew?" she smiled sensually.
Matthew's reaction to the woman remained the same: indifferent. The man glanced back at the laptop screen and said coldly, "Where might I forget about the woman who abandoned her own child to choose to live with the weight of treasure?"
The woman's jaw hardened, then smiled. The face of the wall he had originally installed had almost collapsed. However, he did not care about the words, instead sitting in the chair in front of Matthew.
"Can't you change your attitude? I'm your former stepmom and—"
And Matthew's sick of listening. He interrupted coldly. "What purpose did you come here for?"
The lady named Charlote smiled. "Well, I like your attitude this—doesn't like to mince words," he said flirtatiously. "Just go ahead, yeah. I want to claim my husband's inheritance rights that were given to Aurellie."
Matthew was stunned, then turned to Charlote with a flat expression. "Health inheritance?"
"Yes!" charlote half-said. "It would not be fair if he only got a 10 percent stake in J. Company, while you get the company completely."
"That's really supposed to be," Matthew replied, indifferently, glancing back at the file before him.
Charlote glanced at the file, annoyed that she wasn't ignored. Then, he jerked his hand over the file, so Matthew glared at him.
"But you're gonna pass it on to Logan, aren't you?" accusation snapped.
Matthew's patience was almost over with this woman, but she still held back her anger, silent with her jaw hardened.
"That's none of your business" he said coldly.
"That's my business, too, because I'm Aurellie's mother. I can't allow the injustice that my dear daughter has endured" Charlote said, no less forcefully.
"Injustice?" matthew sardonic. "Did Aurellie ever get affection from her mother for 35 years, while her mother thought only of her beauty and money?"
Matthew folded both his hands on his chest, his cynical smile widening. "You don't know how Aurellie always asks her mother to hold her and play with her. But you're always busy shopping, going to the salon, spending money with your friends" he added. "Then, when your husband dies and you get an inheritance, you leave Aurellie. My wife takes care of him like a sister."
After which, Matthew slowly moved, stared ferociously, and suddenly hit the table while snapping. "You think, who gave him that injustice, huh? Who?!"
Charlote flinched, then turned her face away. Collapse is his defense to remain unconcerned with all Matthew's accusations addressed to him. But that doesn't mean he remains silent. He would retaliate, no matter if he lost this time.
"Why indeed?" he was calm, but his tone was still. "I'm entitled to do all of that because I want to make my husband happy."
Matthew was furious, the woman still did not want to feel blamed. "But, should I abandon Aurellie?"
Charlote fell silent, scrutinizing Matthew's face while thinking of a word. Then, he smiled cynically. "So, do you feel that you're not sincerely babysitting Aurellie?"
Crazy one! Matthew was stunned staring at the brainless woman. He snorted while shaking his waist, laughing cynically mixed with annoyance.
"Mrs Charlote," Matthew said, looking back at the woman. "You'd better break that intention. You'll lose later if you say something without first thinking."
"Get out! Or I'll ask the security guard to drag you out."
The insolent! Okay, this time, Charlote will budge. He got out of his chair, grabbed his bag violently, then threatened before leaving.
"Matthew, I won't stay silent. I'll come again, and demand Aurellie's right. Catch that!"

Anna stared at her breakfast plate with a frowning forehead.
Chicken steak seems less suitable for breakfast. Anna put away her plate, just gulped down a little juice.
Logan looked greedy to chew his food, although he had glanced at his wife for a moment. Actually, he doesn't care if the woman doesn't eat. However, he has promised to look after the woman, making sure that she should eat and drink her vitamins regularly.
"Eat! Don't make the baby sick just because of your childish nature" the man said, cold and insinuating.
Anna looked upset. "Bright-wicked? Whatchu mean?"
"You're upset with me, aren't you?"
"If I'm upset with you, I won't sit down with you" said Anna, interrupting directly. "But the point is not that I don't want to eat. I don't want this breakfast menu."
Logan stopped cutting off his steak meat, then looked at him flatly. "What do you want to eat?"
Anna curled a smile. "Em .. nasi goreng same soto Bogor kayaknya delicious."
"Where is the food here" decak Logan. There was just a request from the girl.
"If instant noodles must be there, right? I'm used to eating rice."
Hah ... This woman is "Totally Indonesian"! "You can't eat instant noodles" Logan replied.
"It can be, right?" sahut Anna fast, clear.
Logan remained in his stance. He doesn't know if this woman is craving or not, but he can't grant Anna's request and look for an alternative.
"Do you want to eat chicken porridge?" Logan offered, smiling faintly.
"Chicken porridge?" Anna said a little exclaiming. "Is there a one here?"
Of course there is. In this hotel also employs several Indonesian chefs who have been licensed. The man smiled mysteriously, then called a waiter, ordering a full serving of chicken porridge.
The waiter nodded in understanding, after which brought the chicken steak that was on Anna's table to bring back to the kitchen.
"But, I can't accompany you to breakfast because I have to leave after this," Logan said later, after the servant left from before them.
Anna nodded, but ... why does it feel a bit disappointed, huh?
"You go back to the room after I finish breakfast. I asked the waiter to deliver the porridge to the room" Logan added, after wiping his mouth.
Logan got up from the chair, as did Anna, after Logan paid for all the food he ordered.
"I'll go first." After saying that, Logan froze because he was caught by something.
Anna awkwardly, the man looked at her bawlingly with a considerable duration. I don't know, what was that guy thinking?
Logan placed his hand against Anna's back, then quickly took a step forward, peeping Anna's forehead in a flash.[]
