Logan loosened his tie as he entered the bedroom. It's not usually Anna doesn't welcome him, but Logan doesn't mind. Perhaps, his wife was tired or overslept waiting for him.

And it's true, Logan found Anna was asleep in bed with her back. Logan smiled, he walked towards the bathroom without making any sound.

"His fate depends not on the shareholders, but on us" Diana added. "If Matthew and Logan have made up their minds, we'll just do our job."

"Darling, this way is a bit sneaky." The soul of business man Diana's husband suddenly faded due to his generous nature. "Why bother making them crumble just for the sake of marrying Logan to Nina? Better man than Logan many, our son deserves it."

"But" said Diana casually, but actually her feelings were riled up. "What Nina loves is Logan. Let it be, just do what Nina wants."

"Diana" decreed her husband. "Nina is precious. I want Nina to get the best."

The atmosphere of the meeting room is tense. Logan, Matthew, and his friends resigned to the decision of this meeting. The smiles of the shareholders were drawn on his face, as if they had been waiting for this decision for a long time.

A man who was the representative of the shareholders stood up while holding a piece of paper. He nodded before saying. "We admit, Logan once brought glory to our company. But, as a result of his negligence, we suffered a huge loss. The scandal he committed is also unacceptable. So with this...."

The phone of one of the shareholders reads. The man turned his head and stopped continuing his words, let alone the man brandishing his palm.

Logan and Matthew looked at each other. Their foreheads frowned, wondering why this meeting was delayed just because of that.

Shortly after, the man came back into the room. He looked at the grown man, walked up to him, and whispered something. After which, the man sat down to his place, the reading of the decision resumed.

"We continue, okay?" said the fat man. "But, even so, we still provide an opportunity for Logan to remain in his position. Logan wasn't fired!"

Matthew, who had been bowed in lethargy, raised his face in astonishment, then smiled at Logan. Likewise with Logan, he did not expect to still be given a chance.

Logan and Matthew shook the shareholders' hands before they dissolved. After that, Matthew hugged Logan with a sigh of relief.

"Thank God, son. You're still given a chance" Matthew said.

"Yes, Pa." Logan involuntarily nodded.

Then, they went out of the meeting room to their respective workspaces. However, they were astonished to see some of the shareholders chatting and shaking hands with Diana.

Logan frowned, suspecting something was wrong.

Realizing Logan's whereabouts, Matthew and his friends, Diana and Nina turn to him smiling. Then, Nina approached Logan, and greeted him.

"Logan, congratulations, yes?" Nina extended her hand.

Does he expect Logan to welcome a handshake from him? It was just a dream. Logan passed Nina nonchalantly.

Nina was not disappointed, just her sneaky smile was developed. He turned around a little, then said, "You should thank me, because I saved you."

Logan turned his head, his eyebrows rising next door. "You mean?"

Nina gave him the brown envelope she had been holding tightly. The envelope is his secret weapon that will make Logan subjugated to him, inevitably.

Logan received the envelope with suspicion. He took out the contents, then read it.

Logan's face slowly changed. Nina smiled happily at the expression of shock that Logan was showing at the moment. Nina knew, Logan would definitely ask her for an explanation, but she couldn't wait to say it first.
