Safiya Khanza Ayunindya
I'm living the story of my long life. Travel from time to time is not easy, I passed until now. The meeting that I used to think of as a meeting to the end of life, ended up hindered by a fate of death that finally separated me and Dimas. Until I found a point of happiness with Farhan.
Farhan, the stranger I didn't know and hated so much, is now the person I need and love the most. I didn't expect him to play my companion now.
And Dimas, now I can only see as a star above the clouds. Small yet precious as the memories he once left behind. I want to forget, but everything is too precious to forget.
Everything that happens in the world is only God's destiny knows. We can't guess, but whatever God's choice is, it's what's best for you.
And, it doesn't feel like 7 years already, I'm living in the hospital of my own husband. Haha... Shocked... Yes, now a man named Farhan Liam Ma'ruf has become my life companion.
I stood in this hospital looking at the situation around me. It's getting crowded and crowded like never before.
"Mom, there's an emergency patient. And, all the doctors are full now" said a nurse who suddenly walked into my room.
"Good.."
I grabbed my white coat and went into the ICU. As soon as I got in, what I saw was not an emergency patient. But a longing patient who always interfered with my rest.
"It's a real habit. Have the kids been brought home yet?" ask me firmly.
"Dear, I've brought it home."
I was angry and quickly entered my own room followed by my husband who tried to persuade me.
"The more days you get busy. I miss you even more."
"And I'm a doctor, every day I have to take care of patients. Are you jealous of the patient?"
"I'm jealous because they get more treatment than you, whereas I have to wait for the pain we just took care of me" said Farhan spoiled.
"Geez, what's my husband lately? Every day I see you, later if Zea and Zeo are old, I'll switch this to Zea, then I can rest continuously in your nursing home that is getting old."
"It's awful to say that my husband is old, young like this."
"Have not whined here. You go back to the office and I'll take care of the operating room."
I was busy preparing the equipment, but Farhan was always bothering me.
"I just came, when did you get kicked out?"
"Muaacch... Onion. Get to the office."
I was forced to kiss her and immediately ran out of the room to avoid Farhan who might come after me.
Every time I got home from the hospital, I went to see my twins Zea and Zeo. Make dinner and help them learn.
They tend to be smart kids like me, but the nature of the two is different. Zea looks like, maybe because she's a girl. And Zeo looks like Farhan.
Every day, they fight. I was dizzy for him too. Sometimes Farhan and I would rather be quiet than calm down the two of them who were fighting all the time.
But what makes me feel good is when they need each other. They helped each other, laughed together and really made my days perfect.
"Papa's coming home..."
"Papa.." cried Zea and Zeo calling his papa and directly hugged him when he came.
"It's learning, isn't it?" ask Farhan.
"It's dong."
"Smart... Now you guys get dressed and get ready to sleep."
Zea and Zeo nodded and quickly climbed into their respective rooms. I smiled looking at him, and my gaze shifted to Farhan who looked like a soy sauce. I immediately received her bag and hugged her.
"Why?" ask Farhan.
"You must be tired, the time to go home is not welcome. I haven't eaten yet, the shower used to run out of it into the dining room. I'll wait there."
"Are you not eating yet?"
"Not yet, I'm waiting for you to come home and the kids are learning."
I nodded and quickly headed to the dining table to prepare the food that was still warm at the dining table.
...*****...
I always teach children to always make a grave pilgrimage to the graves of our loved ones. I always take my family on a pilgrimage every Friday.
"Well, why does your mom always take us to the tomb?" ask Zea.
"They lived like us. They need our prayers, too. We can't let him. And always pray for him to be quiet down there."
"There is life down there?" ask Zeo.
"Still dear. Its name is the grave or also called barzah realm. This barzah realm is the gateway to the afterlife. And the journey is still long."
"How much is pilgrimage other than praying what mah?" ask Zea.
"In order to always remember that we live only temporarily and always remember the existence of death. So, prepared not to be ready must be sure death exists."
"This is whose tomb is mah? Mom's first child? How's the little cemetery rich in babies?" ask Zeo.
"This is your aunty tomb. It's mom's sister's grave."
"Ooh..."
Zea and Zeo nodded in understanding and quickly sat down next to Sofiya's grave.
"Hallo aunty, I'm Zea" said Zea greeting the tomb.
"Hallo aunty, I'm Zeo."
"Aunty, unfortunately I can't be with Aunty, can't see aunty. Aunty's fine in nature there. We'll always pray for aunty..."
Zea's words made my heart truly feel moved. I shed tears as I watched the two of them chat as if I had seen them in person.
Then, we moved to the grave of my childhood friend who was none other than Dimas.
"This is whose tomb is mah?" ask Zea.
"Your mother told you about your childhood best friend." Zea and Zeo nodded.
"This is papa and mama's best friend in high school. He's the one who chose papa to be my mom's boyfriend."
"If this uncle is still alive, surely mama married the same uncle right."
I laughed when Farhan who was beside me just resigned in the duakan.
"Mama doesn't know, baby. All God knows is what governs the lives of everyone in the world. It is destiny that knows all that is going to happen in the world. Mama can't answer this anymore, baby."
Zea and Zeo seemed to think. He looked ahead and whispered to each other indistinctly.
"Well, the uncle that was there, wasn't the uncle you were talking about, was he?"
Zea and Zeo pointed towards the front, while I was silently silent while looking at Farhan in confusion.
"There is no one dear" said Farhan, holding both of their shoulders.
I pulled out my phone and showed a picture of Dimas to Zea and Zeo.
"Is he there?" many doubt.
They both nodded confidently. But I myself saw nothing.
"What do you see?" manya curious.
"The uncle waved his hand at us."
I was shocked and immediately looked towards the front in confusion. I looked at Farhan while gawking and looked back towards the front with a gaze filled with disbelief.
Finished....
