Kairos pushed Pedro so hard that Pedro fell and hit his head in the car. Kairos also fell. He tried to get up to his feet to protect Pedro but he felt a pain in his stomach. He saw the blood on his shirt, he got up and walked towards Carlos. He looked at Carlos filled with hatred.

Carlos saw Kairos' stomach bleed.

“Why did you stop me from killing him?” Carlos looked at Pedro and pointed his gun at Pedro

Hank and Colby take out their guns and point them at Carlos.

Carlos looked at Colby. “So you've been working on him Colby.”

“Yes Carlos, I work for Madame Jessica.” Colby said to Carlos and Carlos smiling cynically.

“Basic traitor.” Carlos said in his heart.

Charlie sees Kairos getting shot and he runs towards Kairos. Charlie held Kairos.

“Kairos we're at the hospital.” Said Charlie.

Kairos looked at the gun that was on Charlie's waist and he immediately picked up the gun.

“Retreat you Charlie.” Kairos said as he pointed his gun at Carlos. Kairos stepped up to protect Pedro who was still sitting next to the car.

“You want to kill Pedro? Step over my body first, kill me first.” Kairos said with a tone of hatred towards Carlos. He pointed his gun at Carlos, Pedro got up and he stood behind Kairos.

“Kairos don't do that. He's your papa.” Said Pedro to Kairos

“Pedro he's not my papa. Anyone who wants to hurt mom, then she will face me.” Kairos said as he looked at Carlos.

Carlos felt pain hearing Kairos speak so.

“So you prefer to die for this man.” Carlos said as he pointed his gun at Kairos.

“Yes, I will bet my life for the one you love.” Kairos said to Carlos.

Colby and Hank also point the gun at Carlos.

“Carlos will you shoot your own son?” Charlie said to Carlos.

While inside the room, Jessica heard gunshots and she immediately stood up.

“Pedro.., don't don't let Pedro get shot.” Jessica immediately ran out and she saw Kairos pointing his gun at Carlos as well as Carlos was pointing his gun at Kairos. He also sees Colby and Hank pointing his pistol at Carlos and Pedro standing behind Kairos.

Jessica saw the bloody Kairos T-shirt, she immediately shouted.

“Kairos..” Jessica ran over to Kairos and hugged Kairos. “What happened to you dear?” Jessica said while crying.

Jessica looked at Carlos, she stood in front of the kairos. He walked towards Carlos and Carlos stepped back while his gun was still pointed at Kairos and Pedro.

“You want to kill Pedro, you think by killing Pedro I will come back to you? You think I still love you? Jessica, who loves you, is long dead. She was dead when you followed her and Jessica standing in front of you was another Jessica. Jessica who doesn't know who you are.” Shouted Jessica to Carlos.

“Before you kill Pedro, you must kill me first.” Jessica said to Carlos with a hateful tone. “Now shoot me! Shoot me!! Shouted Jessica again to Carlos.

Carlos looked at Jessica. Her heart ached hearing Jessica's words. He dropped his gun and he lowered his head then he stepped back and turned his back then he walked towards his car. Her chest feels tight. Charlie followed Carlos from behind.

And Kairos fell down, he's been bleeding a lot. Seeing Kairos fall down Pedro immediately hugged Kairos.

“Kairos we go to hospital”

Jessica saw Kairos, she immediately hugged Kairos.

“Honey us to hospital.” Jessica said while crying.

“Mam don't cry I'm okay.” Kairos said to Jessica.

“Honey let's go to the hospital. Hank, Colby, please pick up Kairos and bring the car. Pedro let's go to the hospital.”

“Iya come!” Pedro says they get in the car, Jessica hugs Kairos and cries. Hank drove his car to the hospital. At the hospital, Pedro and Hank go down and lift Kairos. Hospital staff help Pedro and Hank put Kairos in bed and push him inside. The doctor handled kairos. They stopped the bleeding.

Jessica and Pedro were waiting outside. Pedro hugged Jessica.

“I'm sorry dear, for wanting to protect me ended up kairos getting shot.”

“Pedro it's not your fault. Don't blame yourself. That's because his papa is too selfish.” Jessica said to Pedro.

Meanwhile

Charlie takes Carlos to the cafe and they talk over coffee.

“Carlos I just wanted to tell you that Jessica doesn't love you anymore. Let Jessica with Pedro, Jessica loves Pedro Carlos so much. Especially your son, those who asked Pedro to marry Jessica. Carlos let go of Jessica.

Carlos just kept quiet, he thought about what Jessica and Kairos said to him. He feels pain.

“I want to go back to Charlie.” Carlos said to Charlie.

“Good Carlos and please Carlos, don't disturb Jessica's life again.” Charlie says to Carlos and Carlos nods his head, then he leaves Charlie and goes to his car.

He got into the car and went straight home. At home, he got out of the car and got into the house. She went to her room and lay on the bed, she cried and regretted all her deeds.

While in the hospital.

Jessica and Pedro are still waiting for Kairos who is still in the operating room. And not long after that the doctor came out and went to see Jessica.

“The eggs have been successfully removed and soon the patient will be moved.” The doctor told Jessica and Pedro.

“Good Doctor thank you.” Jessica said. Then he sat back next to Pedro and looked at the watch in his hand. “Pedro Acel and Cella a little more will be home and no one will pick them up.”

“Let me pick them up.” Pedro told Jessica.

“Well Pedro, you and Hank pick up Acel and Cella.”

“Iya dear, I'm leaving now.” Pedro says he leaves Jessica and calls Hank to come with him. They both get in the car and Hank runs the car to Acel and Cella's school.

Finally Kairos was moved in the Vip room, Jessica sat by the bed and stroked Kairos's face. She shed tears, Jessica loved Kairos very much.

Kairos opened his eyes and looked at Jessica.

“Mam don't cry, I don't like to see mama cry.” Said Kairos and Jessica smiling at Kairos while wiping away her tears.

“Mama was just scared to see you get shot, baby. You know mama loves you very much.” Jessica said and she hugged Kairos. “Mama is afraid you go dear.” Jessica said again crying.

“Mam don't cry, mama has seen I'm fine. Don't cry anymore. Oh yeah Pedro where's mam?” Ask Kairos.

“Pedro again pick up Acel and Cella at school.”

“No dear, Pedro went with Hank.” Answer Jessica

“Oh yes dear, why did you come to mama's office?”

“Mam I have a job and I want to work in my mom's office, all I want to learn from mom. Oh yes mam, please call Tania tell her to come here.”

“Alright dear mama will phone Tania.”

Jessica picks up Kairos' phone and searches for Tania's number, then Jessica calls Tania.

Tania's voice came from across the phone.

“Hallo Kairos, what's up calling me?” Tania asked from across the phone, she thought Kairos called her.

“Sorry Tania, this is Kairos' mother. Can you come to the hospital now?”

“What's the Madam? Did something happen to Kairos?” Tania asked across the phone. She became concerned to hear Jessica tell her to go to the hospital.

“Uumm.., you just come Tania.” Jessica said again.

“Alright Mistress I'm there soon.”

“Thank you Tania.” Jessica said, then she hung up the phone and sat by the bed. “Tania will be here soon dear.” Jessica said to Kairos.

“Thank you mam.” Said Kairos and Jessica smiling then she stroked Kairos' hair.

And not long after Pedro came into the room, he hugged Jessica and kissed Jessica on the forehead and then he stood by the bed.

“I'm sorry kairos. Because of me you got shot.” Pedro said guiltily.

“Ah.. Pedro don't talk like that. If you get shot then mama how?” Kairos said to Pedro as his eyes looked at Jessica and Jessica looked down, she shed tears. “Pedro I want to see happy mama.”

Jessica held Kairos' hand and cried. “He willingly sacrificed his life to see me happy.” Jessica said in her heart.

Pedro saw Jessica crying, he hugged her and kissed Jessica on the forehead.

“I'm sorry.” Whisper Pedro in Jessica's ear while stroking Jessica's hair.

Jessica hugged Pedro tightly.

“Pedro this is not your fault. Stop to apologize.” Jessica said while crying.

“Mam don't cry anymore, mama has seen me okay.”

Jessica releases Pedro's embrace and holds Kairos's hand.

“Iya dear mom won't cry anymore.” Jessica said then she kissed Kairos on the forehead.

And Tania came in, she was surprised to see Kairos.

“Kairos what happened to you?” Tania asked with worry.

Kairos held Tania's hand.

“I'm okay Tania, just shot.”

Jessica and Pedro leave Tania and Kairos. They went to find coffee.

“Kairos who shot you? Ask Tania.”

“I don't know Tania.” Kairos lied to Tania.

He doesn't want Tania to know that Carlos shot him. Kairos held Tania's hand and pulled Tania closer to him.

“Kairos pain yes.” Tania asked Kairos with a ready face.

“Sick Tania, but it hurts more if you leave me.” Canda kairos on Tania. And Tania hit Kairos' arm.

“You are sick still joking.” Tania said to Kairos then she kissed Kairos on the forehead.

Kairos smiled.

“Tania do you love me?”

Tania looked at Kairos in the eyes.

“Iya Kairos, I love you.” Tania said while holding Kairos' hand. “Do you love me too Kairos?”

“Uummm..., no Tania.” Kairos said while holding back a laugh.

Tania looked at Kairos.

“True you don't love me?”

“Iya Tania I don't love you.”

“Ohh so. All right, then I'm leaving now.” Tania said as she stood up and Kairos laughed and she felt pain in her stomach.

“Aaauuchhh Rintih Kairos and Tania sat back down.

“You why Kairos.” Ask Tania.

“I'm fine. Just feeling a little pain in my stomach.” Kairos said to Tania while holding her stomach.

“Kairos, right you don't love me.”

Kairos smiled and held tania's hand.

“I also love you Tania.” Kairos.

“Really Kairos?”

“Iya Tania I love you.” Kairos said again and he pulled Tania's hand. “Come lie next to me.”

Tania got onto the bed and lying next to Kairos, she hugged Kairos and Kairos kissed Tania on the forehead.
