124.2 Arrogance

Hokram the capital of the Tandora kingdom.

The Red Vivern army led by Commander Darius had moved they landed in front of the southern gate of the city fortress of Silmarin with great force.

On top of the city fortress there were not many Silmarin troops there as most of them had been at the headquarters of the command center to wait for the next order according to the direction of commander Ferandi.

"Why there are only a few Silmarin Warriors here haven't they all returned to the city."

A Cleric of the Shirk temple said that by snapping at a captain of the Silmarin Warrior on top of the fort.

"Sorry Mr. Cleric we do not know and they may have been repatriated as they have not long since returned from their invasion of the Lopak region "

"What then why don't you guys immediately gather them back isn't this time a precarious situation so martial law should start immediately.!?"

The Cleric there was of course not happy about it because the Remaria Army which was the enemy of Sirak temple would definitely still attack the city which was the headquarters of the dark temple.

"Wait for what this means, King Douglas can't possibly stop the Red Vivern Remaria Army from attacking this city, you can't leave you must stay here and fight alongside the Cleric Sirak Army."

"Sorry Mr. Cleric our orders are to protect the townspeople so we have to carry out that duty, our Silmarian retreat we will spread to the city territory and protect our people from any threat."

King Douglas then looked at the Cleric sharply and spoke firmly.

"Our enemy, is not Remaria only the enemy of the Shirk temple and it is your existence that made the kingdom of Remaria attack my city, I, as king of Silmarin, have sworn an oath of importance to the interests and safety of my people so this is the most appropriate decision for the good of all the people of Silmarin in this city, so step aside."

"What..?!"

After king Douglas said the reason why he did this, the king of the kingdom of Silmarin immediately advanced out of the gate of his city with Commander Ferandi and several soldiers of the guard to negotiate with the army of the kingdom of Remaria who came.

It was also King Douglas' plan that King Douglas would not be blamed when he surrendered his city to Remaria's army for that reason.

Then far in front of the fortress a Red Vivern warrior commander was gallantly seen advancing to face King Douglas and speaking to the king of Silmarin as well as everyone in the city's fortress.

"Silmarin, I Commander Darius of Remaria came to attack the enemy of the kingdom of Remaria, the Temple of Sirak, you the kingdom of Silmarin must surrender immediately and let us take over the city in order to exterminate those heretics."

Commander Darius declared it and King Douglas, who looked like he was defending and putting the safety of his people first.

"Commander Darius, darius, I Douglas De Silmarin have no reason to be hostile to the kingdom of Remaria and for the safety of my people I King Douglas De Silmarin will surrender my city and throne to Remaria on the condition that you Red Vivern Army mustn't attack or hurt the people of Silmarin who didn't fight you."

Of course the Clerics who were now at the gates and fortress of the city of Silmarin were very surprised by King Douglas' request as a condition of the surrender of the throne and his kingdom, because there is no way a handful of Paladin Soldiers and Priests in Bolvak city will be able to face the entire Red Vivern army that comes attacking.

Then Commander Darius loudly gave an answer to the request of king Douglas.

"King Douglas our enemy is just a Sirak temple not a resident of your town so we accept your offer."

The Cleric of the Shirk temple could do nothing to change the deal and looked increasingly alarmed because if the Red Vivern Army of about 50,000 Soldiers combed the whole city of Silmarin there would be no place to hide again for those followers of the Sirak faith.

And Commander Darius shouted to give orders to the Red Vivern Warrior behind him.

"Remarians go ahead and do your job..!!"

Tens of Thousand Red Viverns flew over the Cleric of the Shirk temple on top of the fortress with the great warrior Remaria on each of the powerful creature's backs.

And soon the Cleric's forces of the Sirak temple on top of the fortress were soon defeated while tens of thousands of other Red Vivern soldiers chased the Clerics who tried to escape into the city.

The city of Silmarin was soon filled by Remaria soldiers who combed the city to hunt down the Cleric Sirak temple left there.

And it did not take long for the city which was the center of the kingdom of Silmarin to be taken over by Remaria without opposing the forces of Silmarin.
