140.2 Raid of the Emperor's Great Tomb

The sandy plains of adventurers set foot near the ruins of an enormous ancient tomb, The great tomb of Emperor Golgotha is now a colony of Devils that can grow quickly and can threaten the world.

The prince of Remaria who had recently taken over the land from the Arka kingdom felt corrupt over the existence of demons in the land, so He and the adventurers and the Griffins invaded the great tomb of Golgotha to exterminate them.

After the group from Remaria managed to defeat a large number of Demon troops they immediately rushed to infiltrate the tomb to eliminate the remaining demons there.

"Prince Antonio are we going to go into the ruins of the tomb now?" Tanya Jordan Negaref is an Orichalcum-level adventurer.

"True we're going to enter the tomb now, but I want adventurers to be ahead because they're more experienced in exploring the ruins and dungeons, he said, griffin's forces will be in the rearguard because their abilities won't be effective there." Antonio.

Antonio knows the advantages of adventurers who are experienced in many dangerous missions in dungeons, in fact, the Griffin troops that Antonio brought were also quite strong, but their movement would be very limited in the narrow underground passageways and could not use their superiority to fly.

The adventurers were quite excited and had high morale after they gained victory in the final battle.

The entrance hall to the tomb is quite large and behind it there is the first room that is still at ground level. There were no demons in the room because it was likely that they had all descended to escape underground.

"Antonio looks like the basement's pretty dark, it's gonna bother us enough." Said Erin who was very experienced in dungeon exploration missions because she was a Thieft-class adventurer.

"Yes I understand you guys get ready soon, make a torch or use magic for lighting and for Thieft class you will be in great need here because previously it was said that this tomb has many deadly traps." Said Antonio and the adventurers immediately prepared themselves. They made torches and the Priests used lighting magic on the ends of the magic wand they were carrying.

The second room in the great tomb of Golgotha and Far before had many adventurers entering this room but there were no undead monsters or giant scorpions like the records that the adventurers left in the guild regarding the tomb this, it was likely that all those monsters had been exterminated by the Devils.

The adventurers continued their exploration into the great hallways of the underground floors of the two great tombs of Golgotha, Undead or other monsters that there is only silence behind imagine the dark where the sunlight can not get there.

"Prince Antonio after this is the third room, it is likely that this will be even more dangerous because there is a very complicated and trap-filled labyrinthine hallway." Said a golden-level adventurer from the city of Harnas who had explored the tomb of Golgotha.

Antonio thinks there is no map made for this labyrinth, the possibility of adventurers having trouble doing it because previously there must have been many undead who inhabited it.

"Well we'll spread out into groups and try to have at least one person in the group have a Thieft or Assassin class to detect traps." Antonio said he decided to divide the adventurers into groups to make it easier to find a way to the end of the tomb.

"Prince Antonio, we heard that there are many hidden treasures here, are we allowed to take them for ourselves if we find them later.?" Ask an adventurer.

The great tomb of Golgotha is indeed there are many garta, especially ancient imperial treasures, which are buried and hidden along with the body of Emperor Golgotha.

Antonio is still with four different adventurer teams and several adventurers who do not have a team because Antonio's group is the main group in this raid. Antonio's group kept moving occasionally Erin who was a Thieft checking around to see any traps.

Erin is seen dismantling the trap, she looks very careful doing it.

The sound of several wings flapping was heard Gargoyle and a giant creature with one big eye flew in front of a door, Antonio and the adventurers there are seen peering from afar because they do not know the ability of the demon that is likely dubbed as Devil Eye.

Devil Eyes, a creature that has one eye the size of a round body, has small wings but can fly floating in the air, several tentacles are visible and one of them is quite large protruding from the back of the body facing forward and the mouth of the creature is large enough to be right under his eyes.

"What kind of creature it is, it seems that Satan is so powerful that it is used as a doorman." Said an adventurer from the city of Harnas.

Antonio wanted to see how strong the demon was, because on his body there were only four small legs and it was almost impossible for the demon to use it to attack the enemy.

Antonio pulled out a wand, summoned a Manticore and told him to approach Devil Eye and attack him.

"Prince Antonio is very good at summoning monsters like the Manticore, but will your monsters be able to handle Devil Eye.?" said Jordan who just found out that Prince Antonio has enough magic skills can even bring in the strongest monsters such as the Manticore lion.

"I don't know but at least this is enough to measure the creature's strength." Anonio.

The adventurers observed from quite a distance as the Manticore approached the Devils to attack.

A demon like Gargoyle that attacked with claws and fangs could not possibly match the Manticore Lion's abilities, in contrast to Imp who might be able to defeat him by relying on fire magic.

The Devils like Gargoyle looked motionless when they saw the Manticore lion but Devil Eye instantly fixed his gaze and made the Manticore lion a week speechless petrified. Devil Eye has a Magic ability that can affect the mind until the opponent is unable to move.

"Prince Antonio why is your lion suddenly silent.?" Ask Jordan.

"I don't know the possibility of the Devil using magic abilities like the Snake Gorgon monster." Answer Antonio.

"It means an ability like the one Bazilisk had that left his opponent petrified, it seems impossible for us to get close and rely on direct attacks." Said Jordan.

They witnessed the power of Devil Eye that even a Manticore lion was unable to move before him, but surprisingly after that one large tentacle on Devil Eye's body suddenly shot a very dazzling straight beam hitting and splitting the Manticore's body.

"What the hell is that attack, is it a light-type magic attack." Said Jordan.

"The attack was very fast and the Manticore died instantly from the magic attack." Markovic added.

Antonio thought 'Geez it looks like the Devil will be very disturbing, but how the devil can master the laser-like light magic attack.'

"Prince Antonio how are we going to retreat now, it's too difficult to defeat him without any casualties on our side." Said Jordan.

"Sir Jordan we can't retreat now, well to defeat the demons there I'll count on Mr. Markovic." Antonio.

"Eh Mr Markovic, will an arrow attack from Mr Markovic be enough to defeat him?" Asked Jordan who was quite doubtful.

Antonio looked at Marko and then spoke."Lord Marko your arrow power is strong enough to defeat Cyclop who is a Titan-class monster, can you defeat the Devil in front of us.?"

"If Prince Antonio thinks so, well I'll give it a try." Answer Marko.

Antonio then looked at Zaza who looked silent from earlier.

"Zaza after Marko defeated Devil Eye whether you can attack other demons." Said Antonio.

"Of course the captain when there is no Devil Eye all the Gargoyles are not my match.?" Zaza said confidently.

"Good then I'll leave all the demons at that door for you two to defeat." Said Antonio.

Markovic then immediately prepared to draw his bow to the Devil Eye even though the distance was very far.

"Snip." Marcovick activated his archery magic skill along with activating the power of the runes engraved on the arrows he was holding. Four runes shining one rune activated the power of the wind that revolved around the arrow, another one had power like electricity and the other two were unknown.

Although the power of Markovic's arrow is very powerful but it is clear he is very difficult to direct the arrow to aim at the target because of the pressure of lightning power, for that the accuracy of Marko's archery becomes very bad.

"Lightings Arow..!!" The arrow shot out with a few extraordinary flashes of lightning leading to where the Devils were. The arrow looks like it will deviate from the target due to the power of the lightning but because the arrow has its own rune carving that can deflect it towards the target, the arrow immediately swooped sharply against Devil Eye's body fiercely.

"On target..!" Said an adventurer who noticed the arrow attack.
