The smell that Gabby didn't like so much began to get sniffed by the woman. The hospital smell. Again he opened his eyes where he should have taken his life. But, he survived again. Why fate confuses him so much. He wants to die, wants to end his life, and wants to live happily in nature. No matter how hard Gabby wants it, if God doesn't want it, it won't happen.
Gabby kept quiet and blinked her eyes many times. He kept looking at the ceiling of the room. Then he turned to look at someone who was asleep holding his hand. He smiles.
“Why should my life be between two difficult choices?” Gabby's mumbling. He pulled his hand which began to feel tingling because it was used as a pillow by the head of the person who guarded it all night.
“You're up?” george asked as he felt the movement of his hands.
Gabby nodded in response. “Why am I not dead? I'm tired of my life.” Her tears came out again. “I also want to live happily like everyone else, just once. Although only briefly, at least I have felt happiness,” lamented by looking at the ceiling.
“Why do you want to die? There's a life you have to take care of now.” George gently rubbed Gabby's flat stomach.
Gabby saw the movement of the hand, then she turned to look at George. “What do you mean?”
George smiled at her smile. He used his left hand to put a soft touch on the cheek of the woman he loved, and his right hand kept stroking the flat stomach. “You're pregnant, entering five weeks,” clear.
Gabby's infused hand started touching her stomach. “Pregnant?” muttered.
George nodded in confirming. “Our son,” is happy.
Gabby was silent for a moment, she let out her tears for the umpteenth time. “How can? We only do it once and I take sleeping pills,” clean with a choked voice.
“Nothing is impossible, if God wills,” said George softly. Both of her hands continued to give her gentle touches.
George pulled out his handkerchief. She wiped Gabby's tears. “Why are you crying? Aren't you happy?” tanyakanya.
Gabby shaking. “I'm happy, of course I'm happy to be given the trust to be pregnant. But—” Throat is getting choked, he is not strong to continue talking.
George was ready to hear the rest. He raised his eyebrows. “But what?”
Gabby wet her dry lips by sticking out her tongue. “How does Marvel feel? She's my husband, but I'm pregnant with another man.”
George breathed out slowly. “I told you once when you chose Marvel as your husband. This is what I was afraid of, and it really is happening now. I told you once that you could be pregnant with my son, but you didn't believe it.”
Gabby looked at George again with her teary eyes. “You blame me?”
The man shook his head. “No, I just avoided something like this from happening. I just don't want everything to get complicated.”
“I just don't want to hurt anyone. I don't want to hurt Marvel who's been fighting the pain of breaking up with drugs. I saw all his struggles.” Gabby touched George's cheek. “Sorry, because I didn't choose you. I was really confused back then.”
George piled his hand with Gabby's on his cheek. He gave a gentle swipe at the back of that hand. “Then, you prefer to hurt your own heart? You make everything easy complicated. If you had chosen me that time, nothing would have been like this. We can unite our love.” His gaze was so warm that it calmed the soul.
Gabby shook her head. “I know what it feels like to clap one hand, it feels ignored. I don't want to make anyone feel that way because of me.”
“You said your Papa was selfish? But you're more selfish. You attach importance to the feelings of others and ignore your own feelings. It's the same you're selfish.”
