20 Minutes later...
Olivia finally arrived at her apartment.
After getting out of the elevator, Olivia saw a handsome man leaning against the door of her apartment while playing a cell phone.
"What are you doing here?" ask Olivia when she sees Lucas.
"I've been waiting for you since, why did you just come home? Didn't you come home early?"
"I just stopped by somewhere to buy something, why don't you call me?" ask Olivia.
"I thought you'd go straight home to the apartment after work" Lucas replied casually.
Olivia pulled out the key and opened the door. But suddenly he realized something.
"Wait, how do you know that I live here now?"
"You think?" Lucas has nothing to hide. "It's easy for me to know your address."
Lucas took off his shoes and walked barefoot as if he had been here before.
"What's? Why are you bothering to find my address? If you want to know, you can call me." Olivia can't be mad at this bad guy.
But Lucas seemed upset today, he saw the grocery bag that Olivia was carrying. "What did you buy?"
"Tie."
Lucas sat down on the couch and asked while looking at Olivia. "For Alio?"
Olivia gasped in surprise, then she looked at Lucas with a suspicious look.
"Everything you know about me?" asked Olivia with a probing look.
Olivia has nothing to hide about her personal life.
However, Olivia knew that Alio would definitely not like her.
Alio can get Olivia away from Lucas.
"Don't worry, I don't want to know more about the two of you" Lucas looked at Olivia and stepped towards the woman. "Olivia, am I your friend?"
"Of course," Olivia nodded back.
Olivia has a few male friends, but Lucas is attractive and he feels comfortable talking to the man.
Of course, they are friends.
"As your friend, I have to tell you. Don't be silly anymore!"
Olivia surprised.
"Do you know who Alio is?" ask Lucas.
Olivia did not answer.
"Do you know how Alio became President at such a young age? How much does it cost to become president? You don't even know how many people died because of it. Olivia, the likes of Alio and my brother are different from the rich and the respectable. People like your father are just puppets to them, they can control everything easily. But it was hard to stay in a high position, whatever it took, they had to climb higher or they themselves could die silently! Or even you can get involved, too" Lucas continued at length.
"What do you want to talk about?" ask Olivia confused.
"Did you know? My brother loves a woman. But, my brother can do anything but marry that woman. Her marriage was used to ascertain her position, even my own marriage was for her political purposes. What do you think of Alio's marriage? He has no choice. Even if he himself did not want to marry someone, he had to do so. Olivia, how can you be so silly playing this game with her? you'll get hurt."
Lucas uttered the last few sentences with emphasis and then took out a red invitation card.
