Chapter 52. Martha's Attitude

The news of Witha's accident reached Jihan's ears. She took the initiative to invite her husband to visit Witha who is currently in the hospital outside the city.

"Mas, you don't look at Witha? He had an accident" Jihan said.

"Ah, where is it possible? You don't make rumors" Firhan said.

"I didn't, Mas. Just look at the WhatsApp Kaluna story. Don't you want to go there as a colleague? If you don't believe me, you better call Bagaskara."

"You're funny, Jihan. I don't have a Kaluna number. On my phone there are only numbers Bagaskara, Witha, and–"

"Your ex-wife, right?" sahut Jihan cut off her husband's words.

"You're still just as jealous as Graceful. Remember that you are pregnant. Do not let God silence your mouth because you still suspect others. Even if I'm still in touch with Anggun, it's just an ex-husband to his ex-wife. After all, I cannot be a player between Zayn and Anggun's relationship. My ex-wife's standard of living is much better than it was with me. So, what do I need to worry about?"

Damn it, isn't it? Intention to corner her husband, Jihan instead cornered herself. Firhan immediately picked up the phone and contacted Bagaskara.

"Good morning, Mr. Firhan. Tumben contacted me in the morning" replied Bagaskara across the street.

"Morning too, sir. Oh yes, this morning my wife saw the story wa father's wife. Is it true that Mr. Witha had an accident?"

"Ah, yes. We plan to visit this morning. Do you want to be together, too?"

"Send me where the hospital is. Me and Jihan will be here soon."

"Good, sir. Soon after this, I'll send it."

"Thank you, Mr. Bagas."

"Together, Mr. Firhan."

They immediately ended the phone call and prepared. Firhan went back inside to change his clothes. Since Jihan was pregnant, his wife had not worked in the mall. He focused on taking care of the house and keeping the contents.

"So, how, Mas?"

"You better get ready and think about what you're going to bring to get them."

Firhan first headed to the room. He picked up a shirt that wasn't too formal. Just a shirt and jeans. His appearance is completely different. That was when Jihan entered immediately got a spicy comment.

"Ck, want to besuk the sick and his makeup is already the cake of a young man who intends to hook prey. Does this have any purpose to retake Anggun?"

Firhan closed his eyes for a moment. He tried to focus on his thoughts to resuscitate Jihan. After gaining enlightenment, a few seconds later he asked Jihan to sit on the bed.

"Before you leave, you better sit here. I have something to talk to you about."

"Otherwise? Is that really what I said?"

Firhan guided Jihan to a sit. After which, Firhan crouched down before him. Jihan was moved by her husband's attitude. This is the first time I've been treated like that.

This is the fate of Jihan if she has faced Firhan. He must always lose.

"I'm jealous of the same Graceful, Mas. Maybe he'll take you from me."

"Keep thinking like that. It may not be Graceful, but there will be other women who snatch me in the future. At that time, you will realize how much you have to take good care of your mouth. As a husband, I could be rude. However, that's not what I'm going to do. I feel like the fate I'm living has to be like this. So, if you still want to think negatively, then go ahead. I will no longer rebuke you. I'll shut up." Firhan then moved from where he was crouching.

While in another place, namely in the Anggun residence. Zayn is getting ready to go to the hospital. Today he has to work because there is an operating schedule. However, when Zayn was preparing to leave, Anggun's phone got a message from Kaluna that reported that she would visit Witha and invite her to meet at the hospital.

"Honey, Kaluna sent me a message. He asked me to come to the hospital. Are you allowing it?" ask Anggun.

Since her feud with Zayn due to a misunderstanding, Anggun changed more. He will prove that his life is now only for Zayn and the child in his womb.

"If you want to come, come. No papa, it's not."

"You believe me, don't you? I don't have anything to do with Witha or Firhan, honey. I'm your wife and I will continue with you" Anggun assured her husband.

"Of course, honey. Thank you for making me sure." Zayn gave his best smile.

"Thank you."

After Zayn left, Anggun asked to be escorted using a private driver who would accompany him wherever Anggun went. This was due to Zayn's request who always wanted to make sure that his wife remained safe no matter where she was.

Before getting to the hospital, Anggun stopped by first to buy chicken porridge. Even though he knew that the hospital had provided food, maybe Witha or her mother wanted another meal.

This morning she went into Martha's nursery. The woman was lucky not to have sustained any serious injuries. Just yesterday he had just regained consciousness.

"Good morning, Auntie," said Anggun after being in the ward.

"You? Why is it here?" martha asked in a still weak voice.

"I just want to see Auntie and Whitha's condition. It's also because Kaluna asked me to come here."

"You better get out now. I'm not looking at your face. Because of you, my son became a dissident. You better stay away from our family. Witha. Until at any time, he will not be my blessing to be in a relationship with you," said Martha forced to speak harshly when her body was so weak.

Gracefully smiled. "Sorry, Aunt. I had no interest in Vitha for a long time. I came here to see you, not to fight. So, whatever comes out of your son's mouth, I think it's just an obsession. The reality is that I'm a married woman now."

"Get out!" snapped Martha with the remnants of her power. Not only snapping, even Martha pushed the chicken porridge that was deliberately placed Anggun in the nightstand not far from Martha's gurney.

The porridge spilled and spread everywhere. Forced Anggun to ask the nurse to clean the room.

"It turns out you're rougher than I thought, Auntie," muttered Anggun who was currently sitting in the waiting chair in front of the nursery.

Martha simply could not appreciate Graceful kindness. The more Graceful she appears, the more she will continue to love the woman from her past. The reality for Vitha is that her love for Anggun never ends.
