Chapter 02. Towards the Future.

The Cross West Emperor gave a different punishment to the Gu Jia family by burning them alive. General Gu's entire family died horribly that day.

"Your Majesty, what about Gu Jia's corpse?" ask one of the guards.

The Cross West Emperor seemed to think for a moment.

"Burying Gu Jia's corpse, was the same as giving mercy... His death should be a warning to all who wish to betray!" his inner.

"Put Gu Jia's corpse on top of the Soul Liberator's hill. In the past, the hill had been the place of judgment of the Gods. The residents of the Cross West Empire will make this a warning for them!" The Cross West Emperor spoke out loudly before everyone.

Counselor Yu Qing Fei smiled triumphantly, General Gu is a threat to her, because her rebellion plans have always been thwarted.

Long ago Yu Qing Fei took personal advantage by committing corruption. Some states routinely pay him tribute beyond taxes set by the government.

Gu Jia's body was carried by several bodyguards. They took him to the top of the Soul-Freezing Hill and left him just like that.

At sunset one comes to the top of the Soul-Freezing Hill with the equipment to pray. He was Yushi, Gu Jia's loyal servant.

"Miss, I'm so sad to see you like this!"

With tears Yushi pulled out the arrows that stuck in Gu Jia's body one by one. The fiery red shirt he used could not hide the blood flowing from his scar.

The arrow was almost finished being plucked, only one piece stuck right in the heart to penetrate to the back of Gu Jia.

Still with his sadness, Yushi tried to strengthen his heart to pull out the arrow. However, suddenly the night sky glowed brightly and moved down onto Gu Jia's body.

Yushi jumped backwards in fear. His body trembled as that bright light made Gu Jia's body lift into the air. The light was white and slowly turned blood red.

Hot air enveloped the surrounding Soul-Freezing Hill. The red glow on Gu Jia's body was a pure fire core that made his soul rise again. The descending god gave his blessing and made Gu Jia come back to life with all of her memories.

"Gu Jia's! For the good you have done I give you a second life. We want to take you to the God realm but you still have an unresolved destiny. It can be said that you will be immortal until you meet your true love that will pluck an arrow in your heart. After that, you are free and can stay in the God realm."

The voice of the Gods could only be heard by Gu Jia. The servant who had been with him had not heard him at all.

After the God delivered his message, Gu Jia stood in the air with a different body. He turned into a flying Fire Phoenix hovering above the Soul Liberator Hill. His shrill voice broke the silence of the night.

When he saw his loyal servant sitting on his knees, he came to him with his body back to how it was, but still covered in fire with his back with wings. Gu Jia wanted to give him an award.

"Thank you for being loyal to me, Yushi!" said Gu Jia.

"I will be your servant for life and will follow you wherever you go, Miss." Yushi put his hands together to pay his respects, he did not dare to even look at Gu Jia's face covered in flames

Gu Jia nodded.

"I will avenge those who have slandered me!" Gu Jia clenched both of her hands, as the flames engulfed her body growing hotter.

Yushi took a few steps back to reduce the heat coming out of Gu Jia's body. He knew that his master was not human at the moment.

"I felt a strong demon air from Miss Gu Jia's body!" inner Yushi looked at Gu Jia with a feeling of astonishment.

Gu Jia's right hand palm opened upwards. There appeared a small round object the size of a marble. Crystal objects that have a smooth surface.

"Good, Miss." Yushi had no idea about the usefulness of the marbles-like object in his hand. He watched it for a while before keeping it.

Gu Jia nodded again and her body suddenly vanished from before Yushi. This sight made the girl who was the same age as Gu Jia feel scared, her hands continued to hold onto her thumping chest.

"Miss Gu isn't human anymore, but I'm pretty sure she won't hurt me!" muttered Yushi, then walked over and made a fireplace on the edge of a steep cliff.

The night was so dark that it made him have no purpose to leave. The dark atmosphere could have misled his steps. After making a fireplace, Yushi looked towards the capital.

In contrast to Yushi who was still trapped on top of the Soul Releasing Hill, Gu Jia had been moving from place to place to find his enemy.

All his enemies died in a miserable manner, Gu Jia killed them quickly before the people around him realized his appearance.

Lastly, Gu Jia killed Yu Qing Fei then hung her corpse on a pole in front of her palace.

"My entire grudge has been avenged, I can leave quietly from here!" gu Jia said after hanging Yu Qing Fei, then she rushed to slip away with a triumphant smile on her face.

Arriving on the Hill of Soul Liberators, he found Yushi sitting with his left hand hugging his knee and his right hand twitching and making the fire in front of him still burning.

Gu Jia's sudden arrival made her surprised but she tried to get used to herself.

"I'm sorry if my sudden appearance surprised you!" Gu Jia took a seat right in front of Yushi.

"No problem, Miss. I will get used to it for a long time!" yushi replied who hid her nervousness and tried to act ordinary.

"Hm.! I'll make a fake grave here so no one can suspect that my body is missing!" thought Gu Jia who did not want to trouble the few people who were still loyal to him.

Right now Gu Jia has an ability that makes him capable of doing anything without having to bother.

"You're here for a minute ...!" pinta Gu Jia told her servant not to follow her.

Then, he walked towards where he was lying a moment ago. Then, his right hand began to twitch to create a new mound of earth that looked genuine...

After everything was settled, Gu Jia stuck a wooden stake in the tomb, she smiled as she read her name on the elongated wooden board, she saw Yushi who turned out to be following her.

"What do you think, Yushi?" gu Jia asked Yushi for his opinion.

"Well, Miss!" yushi replied with his right hand scratching his nape while feeling confused.

"Easy! We're leaving now!" Gu Jia holds Yushi's hand and carries her across distance and time.

Yushi's two eyes became blurry as he passed through the dimensional passageway that did not know the direction of his destination, but he was sure that Gu Jia would not injure him...

They travel to other parts of the world to start their new lives. A new place that has a different civilization from where they lived before.

As a time traveler, Gu Jia had to adjust her identity and change her name every time she crossed the ages. Within three hundred years the situation continued to change.

Yushi looks old despite still surviving to this day. Once a year Gu Jia gave her blood to make Yushi to continue to have a long life.

Today is 2020 AD. Gu Jia lives in Jakarta with a new identity named Shiena, a woman who works as a secret agent. The age listed on the identity card is 23 years with undergraduate education.
