Chapter 09. Fighting Again.

Shiena's unpleasant smell coincided with Leo's appearance. At first he thought that the scent was coming from Leo's body. However, gradually the smell disappeared and left no trace.

Leo's face looked agitated and walked to and fro like he was thinking about something. He did not say a word from his mouth but it was obvious that he was not well.

Leo walked over to the glass window in his room. From there he saw a scavenger walking on the edge of a deserted street. A grinning smile was clearly visible on his face then his body disappeared in an instant.

Shiena's shadow followed the energy left behind by Leo. In a short time he had managed to catch up to the curb.

At this time Leo took the form of a creepy figure. He hides in a narrow alley that people rarely pass. The alley is flanked by two old buildings that have been occupied again by their owners.

Shiena's shadow continued to observe Leo's movements without knowing what he would do after this. His heart was encouraged to record the actions that Leo would perform. A small camera he had been carrying had been lit up since he had been inside Leo's room.

"God! I forgot to turn it off. There's probably a lot of useful things I can bring to Sean!" regret Shiena and point the camera at Leo.

Leo's body turned into a black shadow and moved quickly toward the scavenger who was busy picking up used items in a garbage bin. The scavenger and Leo moved quickly away from the place, leaving the thrown and messy second-hand goods by the roadside.

Shiena followed where Leo took the scavenger away. The black shadow stopped inside an empty building not far from the place.

Just like Leo did to him the other day, the scavenger's body had been tightly wrapped like a cocoon and bound to the webs of energy that had already formed.

Shiena's inner voice battles between saving the scavenger or seeing what happens to the end. He weighed it carefully considering everything contained a risk for him.

Amidst the inner upheaval he was facing, Leo had done his act on the scavenger. It was already too late for Shiena to save the poor scavenger. Leo had already sucked up all the liquid in his body and made it dry to death in the white bag that wrapped it.

The state of his body is especially concerning when Leo breaks his bonds and pulls back his energy nets. He then left the scavenger corpse just like that and went into a black shadow.

Suddenly he was in the parking lot of the office and walked over to a security guard.

"Good day, sir!" greet Leo politely.

His attitude looks so sweet. After getting a victim, his mood became very good.

"Good day, Mr. Leo. Is there anything I should do?" ask a security guard named Hadi.

Leo nodded and took out an envelope with money from his pants pocket. He handed the thick envelope to Hadi.

"You bought me ten goats. Once you get it, you drive it home and tie the goats in my yard. If you've done your job, call me immediately. You still have my phone number, don't you?" ask Leo to convince him.

"Still, Sir. I'm leaving now." Hadi prepared to leave in front of Leo.

"Wait on! If there is any money left, you can take it. But remember, the goats have to be as good as ever." Leo gave a warning to Hadi.

"Good, Sir. Excuse me!" Hadi put the money in a small bag that he always carried.

Leo was slightly surprised by Shiena's sudden arrival.

"Good day, Mr Leo! It's nice to see you again!" greet Shiena.

Leo was shocked to the point that his feet involuntarily took a step back.

"What are you doing here?" leo asked with his paled face.

Shiena smiled and continued walking closer to him. It is not only Leo who can obscure the surrounding nature to be separate from human nature. Shiena is currently doing it.

"Who are you really?" Leo again asked even though the previous question had not been answered by Shiena.

"I am the angel of life that will take you to hell" Shiena said in a loud voice.

Leo gasped at Shiena's words but he did not want to show his fear. Before he had been defeated, he did not want it to happen again.

At first glance Shiena looked relaxed and pretended not to know if Leo was exerting all his strength to prepare against him. Behind her casual attitude, Shiena was preparing to change her form into a fire phoenix.

Leo's energy aura feels very concentrated and stronger than the energy he had the other day. The essence of life he snatched from the scavenger made his energy dart a few levels from before. With the ability she had now, she felt confident that she could defeat Shiena easily.

A ball of energy is formed in Leo's hand. That energy could kill his opponent quickly because it contained poison. The slightest bit of energy was scratching his opponent's body then the poison in it would enter his body quickly.

"That's great! Overnight your energy has increased by so much" Shiena said, which was full of praise but sounded like ridicule.

"Don't say much! Feel this! Haaaa!" exclaimed Leo who threw his energy ball towards Shiena.

He re-formed another energy ball for the next attack.

Shiena leaped into the air with a body that turned into a fire phoenix to dodge Leo's attack. Fireballs that did not hit the target were thrown in an empty place and caused a very loud explosive sound. From the explosion came out a slimy, greenish-blue liquid smelling pungent.

To neutralize the effects of the poison that could have spread, Shiena threw a fireball to burn off the traces of Leo's attack. The second attack came towards him and made it almost too late to dodge.

A strand of his fur was hit by Leo's energy ball and instantly made it turn blackish. Before the poison in her fur spread, Shiena was willing to endure the pain to release it. The fur that was released immediately burned with toxins scattered on the ground.

"You really don't deserve to be pitied" Shiena said as she flapped her wings.

He flew with a certain pattern over Leo's head. From the flapped wings came a reddish-yellow flame powder. The powder sprinkled over Leo's body with heat that made it difficult to breathe.

"What'sthis? I must dodge immediately!" inner Leo, then turned into a giant spider and moved backwards.

With his current form he would unleash an attack using his mouth. In addition to the fireball, Leo also throws an attack in the form of glue liquid hoping to hit Shiena and limit his movements.
