Chapter 04. Get stuck!

Shiena meets with some of Sean's company employees. Other than Dave and his partner, no one knows if he is a secret agent. Her extremely elegant appearance made her look like a super model.

"I feel weird about my client this time. Who is Sean? How could he pull my energy so powerfully. I don't feel any stealth in his body which means that he is an ordinary human being!" Shiena monologued inwardly as she continued walking away from Sean's office.

In the car park, he saw a car blocking his way. He's gonna be hard to get out of there.

"Damn! Looks like my car got stuck in the middle of another car. This car owner should have parked the car properly!" Shiena felt very upset.

The mission he received from Sean will be done today. The faster it is done, the faster it will be completed. His job this time is to look for evidence of contract violations and corruption committed by Sean's subsidiary.

Shiena turned off her phone and refocused herself on the streets. His concentration was slightly disturbed while driving while talking to Kimmy. He felt that something was wrong with the path he was on.

Before the thing touched her skin, Shiena's hand caught it quickly. A small poisonous knife was sandwiched between the index and middle fingers of his left hand. Not wanting the poison to injure others, Shiena burned the poison on the blade with her energy before throwing it into a tree.

"Don't play games with me! Come outside!" exclaim Shiena.

The situation is very clear. There was someone who had deliberately trapped him at this moment. Judging from where he was at the moment, his opponent this time was certainly not an ordinary human being. If not a sorcerer, it was certain that he was a demon like himself.

Shiena walked away from her car towards a more spacious place. Not long after that a black shadow moved closer and circled around him. Her constantly moving body made it difficult for Shiena to see her form.

Apparently the black shadow was not just moving around. His movements formed an unusual pattern. The pattern formed an energy web that confined Shiena's body.

It was hard to believe, Shiena's body could not move as the ends of those energy webs bound her so tightly. He looked like a fly trapped in a spider web with a body wrapped by a rope of extremely powerful energy.

"Sy base! What the hell are you doing to me? Unhand me!" Shiena attempted to rid herself of the bonds that wrapped her body.

"Haha!" the laughter of a man sounded very clearly behind Shiena.

The bond wrapped around him made it difficult to turn his head. He could not see who the person who framed him this time.

"really cowardly. If we dare to fight directly!" Shiena did not want to expend her strength before ascertaining who her opponent was.

"It seems you are very curious. All righty! I'll come in front of you."

A black shadow leaped from behind Shiena and landed right before her. Slowly the shadow formed the body of a young man in a neat suit like an office worker.

There is nothing strange about his appearance. The person he met would not know if he was a dangerous person. At first glance, he looks like a human being.

"Who are you really? What did you catch me for? Haven't we met before?" ask Shiena.

The man did not immediately answer. He walked up to Shiena and continued to stare at her unblinkingly.
