Half Dragon Girl And Elf

Half Dragon Girl And Elf
Chapter 16's

“Y-Yes Mistress!” Aisha said as she hurried back.

“Self Defense Art: Instant Movement!” Dulan wasted no time. He regained his posture and moved quickly, swinging his greatsword to take down his opponent.  But for Kaleesh, he moved so slowly that he yawned before reacting.

He avoided the first attack with a strand of hair. But he didn't stop there. He continued on with another swing, which Kaleesh jumped over as it came. "Too slow!" she said. Physical combat was far from his skill, but he was at level 147. The gap in their strength was so great that it did not become a problem. He did a simple locomotive kick.

“Aduh!”

It landed with a satisfying bang. Dulan's stomach was strong enough to stop the sword, but the power behind Kaleesh's kick was something else. That was enough to make a great sword user like Dulan fly.

“I understand..” says Kaleesh. “It's much easier than in the game.” No matter how low his opponent's level was, it wasn't easy to send a fighter flying with one such attack. Kaleesh hasn't even used a skill yet.

Dulan hit the wall, forming a crater. He got up and slid back towards Kaleesh, his eyes red.

Kaleesh sends a swipe of magic power into the air. This was not a spell, but only Kaleesh's own innate strength. In other words, attacks could be carried out without using magic or skills. Anyway, this is reality. Kaleesh focused his senses, adding his attacks with earth, water, wind, and fire element magic.

Dulan thrust her sword into the ground. “Magic Sword Technique: Magic Wall!” The sword shone brightly, fending off the magic storm of Kaleesh. But it only lasted a moment. “Gwaaaaaaah!” Kaleesh's magic penetrates his barrier, scorching, freezing, crushing, and cutting. His sword fell from his hand, and he collapsed.

“It was so fun!” Kaleesh. “Thank you, Dulan!” He gained experience in hand-to-hand combat and expanded his perspective on what might happen in this world. He couldn't have expected a better result.

Dulan, her body full of wounds, stared at Kaleesh from where he was lying. He once again grabbed his sword, then thrust it into the ground and tried to get up, but failed. “T-No!” she cried. “You are still... You still have not fought me seriously..!”.

“You are still trying to stand?”

Dulan coughed up a mouthful of blood. “If I can't fight, then my life won't mean anything anymore! I lost everything because of the war! Everything except my life and my strength! That's all that's left! So please... I only know that I have to fight you!”

The soldier held his sword, preparing in his heart to die.

"Are you sure?" Kaleesh asked. “Maybe you have more to live than you realize.”

"Even so..."

“Although no results?”

"Even so."

“It doesn't have to end in death, you know.”

"Though it is!"

Kaleesh initially thought Dulan's soul was boring. He was the empty shell of a man who lived just by swinging his sword. It was like running away from something. In fact, he still found it boring, but... “If nothing else, I appreciate your determination,” he said. "Why not? I, Kaleesh Schatten, accept your challenge!”

Kaleesh's attitude has changed. In the past, he took PvP as too serious, unpleasant, and sometimes even dangerous. He still felt that way, but he also had to admit that there was a certain excitement that could be found in danger. It is unfair to meet Dulan who wants to duel seriously as if just playing games. He would give him the fight he wanted—even though he insisted on fighting to the death, not to the death.

Thank you, said Dulan. He lowered his position and darted forward, lowering his sword from above using his entire body weight.

There was no improvement in the attack. It was just a massive attack with all the speed and power he could muster. But, on the one hand, that's what makes it beautiful. There is a certain power in it. Martial Arts: The Destroyer of the Earth!

Dulan attacked with her full strength. It seemed appropriate for Kaleesh to meet him in full force in return. “Customs of Origin..” he called.

“...Dragon Technique: Flashes of Dragon God!”

The exchange lasted only a moment. There was a gust of wind and a terrifying metallic sound. Time seems to stop. The Dulan Sword was cut in two. Kaleesh's nails, which were shrouded in a red aura, stuck to Dulan's neck. “There,” said. "Happy?"

“Ya..” replied Dulan. "Thank you." He collapsed on his back, strangely a happy expression was seen on his face. "I'm lost. Do what you want with me.”

Kaleesh could not think of any reason to accept his offer from the muscular man lying on the floor. He scrunched his face with disdain. "Old man?" she said. "Not interested."

“H-Hey! I'm still in my twenties!” dulan protests.

"really? I would never have expected it.”

Between her large body, her unkempt beard, and her sunken face, Dulan looked to be at her thirties youngest.

“I am at the top of my life!”

“B-REally?” Aisha asked. He seemed to feel the same way as Kaleesh. “I'll kill*hmu..” said Dulan. Yet despite his words, he seemed much happier than when Kaleesh refused to fight him.

“You know,” continued Kaleesh while stabbing Dulan who is now tame, “I'll bet even an old man like you might look a little younger if you shave that beard.”

“N-Mrs...” says Aisha. “A-I'm not sure how great the benefits are.”

"Yes you know! He just needs to do something to get over how rough his jaw is!”

“It might make things worse..”

“Ha ha ha..” Dulan laughs. “Basic rotten bastard. I'll take your*h seriously.”

Dulan swung towards Kaleesh with her broken sword as she continued. “N-Mrs!” exciting Aisha. "Be careful!"

“Be careful of what?” Kaleesh. “A strike like that won't even hurt me!”

Kaleesh raised a finger. Somehow, Dulan's blunt sword wasn't even able to break her slender frills. His attack power was too low.

“Looks like my sword broke..” said Dulan.

“Yah, up.”

“Is that important to you?” Aisha asked.

“Only something I took. That fulfills its purpose. In fact, I was surprised it went on all this time.”

Kaleesh placed his hand on the broken sword and filled it with his magic. The raw iron changed color to resemble a starry night sky.

"Mistress?" Aisha asked.

“I just gave his last ceremony,” Kaleesh explained. “He may not have a decent soul, but I guess I can feel a faint awareness of that weapon.” The sword was shrouded in light. Then it turned into dust and scattered in the wind.

“Wah..” says Aisha. “Beauty once..”

Kaleesh smile. “Well, I think it ran out of guns. Here, maybe I can give you a replacement.”

"Huh?"

Before Dulan could answer, Kaleesh's hands started to work. He opened his storage box and took out his greatsword. The tool was too large and rough, but then, in the dim light of the cave, ripples of moonlight seemed to envelop him. The sword seemed to be almost beating with a living heart, faintly surging in the calm air.

“This Phantom Moon,” Kaleesh said. “Large Legendary sword that only shows its true form in the hands of decent people. Right now, it looks like a beautiful illusory sword, but if I release it, the illusion will disappear. Does it remind you of the heart of a certain swordsman?” Kaleesh grinned wickedly.

"How are you-?"

“How do I know about your heart?” Kaleesh. “I am the Demiwyrm, the Dragon of Souls! Of course I know!"

“You really are a monster..” said Dulan.

“I'll take that as a compliment.”

Kaleesh unleashed the Phantom Moon, and once again, his sword grew old and rusty. It was as if it was mocking them for thinking they saw it as a beautiful sword a moment before. “You can have it,” Kaleesh said. “I don't use it, and all my friends have better weapons.”

“What are you talking about?!” Jerk Dulan did not believe.

“What, you don't want it?” Kaleesh asked. “I have to pay you a sword, right? You just need to thank and receive the gift.” After all, if he did not take it, the sword would only be stored in his storage forever.

“There's no way I could accept such a thing!” dulan. “Do you know how valuable it is?! After all, I lost, didn't I?! You should have taken something of mine, not given me a sword!”

It was true that a sword like Phantom Moon was quite valuable. It was a boss that was dropped from a low-level area and equipment that was quite rare. But the statistics are much lower than Kaleesh used. From his point of view, it was just useless trash to him. Basically, the level is too low. It really could only be used as a weapon up to level 80.

“Phantom Moon is a weapon that gives its power to the weak,” Kaleesh said. “Although you are like this, you are too weak to bring out its original strength.”

“Again,” said Kaleesh, “ini also stalked me. Think of it as a little experiment I did.”

“Experiment?” Dulan asked. “No... Do as you like.” After all, he was already preparing to die. He has no doubt.

“Hey, don't have wild ideas!” Kaleesh. “I told you I'm not interested in old men!”

“I'm not an old man! I'm still young!"

“Hah!” Kaleesh laughs. “No to that face. You're not fooling anyone, old man!

“Gh... Monster!” Dulan put on a face like she was about to attack, but Kaleesh just laughed.

“Now, don't get me wrong,” said. “Compared to me, you are nobody.”

“Gh..”.

“But still, you have a little power. At least enough are the bandits to say that you are the strongest in the world. It was a pretty high title to give to someone at random, so I think you at least have some potential.”

Dulan glared in silence. “Calling me the strongest right now must have been a sickening joke.” his face seemed to say.

“Because it was my experiment!” Kaleesh. “To see if you managed to use Phantom Moon or not. Having such concrete benchmarks will help motivate you to keep practicing, right?”
