Elves are one of the most interesting and popular races in the game!
Being played by real women is adored like an endangered species! Being part elf is not a shame. But it should be a pride. Dozens of elves have been crowned Miss ArtiMagic Online in the annual beauty pageant! (Kaleesh himself just entered this contest. It was secretly one of his proudest achievements.)
Suddenly Kaleesh realized that half a real elf was sitting in front of him.
“You have beautiful ears!” she said. All he could do was not reach out his hand and squeeze it right then and there.
“A-What?! 'C-Beauty'? But they are different from others.”.
"What do you mean?" Kaleesh. “It was elf ears! Everyone loves elves! They are so sexy! A pervert wants to lick his ears! Of course they're beautiful! And if you're worried about being different from everyone else, have you ever met anyone stranger than me?” Kaleesh, the newly reincarnated, is not even from this world. She was at least a hundred times stranger than Aisha.
"You're so...?" Aisha started crying. “I... i..” stuffing. “Waaah haa haa.”.
“A-What's up?! Why are you crying?! W-Did I say something wrong?!”
“Sniff... T-No...” Aisha managed to say while crying. "just... No one has ever said anything nice about me before except my father. I'm just very, very happy. I'm a stupid, stupid girl.” she said. “I can't do anything useful at all, and my body doesn't get bigger. My father always took care of me..”.
Kaleesh recalls the memories he saw when he touched Aisha's soul. As the only half-elf in her village, she blames herself for not being able to do anything, even to the point of hating herself. But for Kaleesh, it was ridiculous. Kaleesh was never able to achieve the power required for endgame characters. He needs his friends to achieve anything. He doesn't see any harm in needing help if you can't do something yourself.
“I am completely useless..” Aisha sobbed. “My father always, always take care of me, but I can't do anything to help him. But still, he always said he loved me. She...She told me that I'm fine..”.
"So so. Looks like he is an amazing father.”
"Dad!" Aisha wailing. “Waaaaaaah!” He was crying sobbing. He seems to be at a loss for words. He must have suppressed his emotions in his struggle for survival. It was no surprise to see them all explode now that he was safe. Perhaps her late father had been watching her, keeping her safe in cruel circumstances until she met Kaleesh.
“Please and get it all out,” Kaleesh said. “I don't have many crates, but you are free to cry in them as you like.”
Kaleesh hugged Aisha near his chest and looked up at the sky. If she hadn't been here, Aisha would have died. He felt the strangeness of his relationship with the girl, almost like he was someone Kaleesh knew in his previous life. She held Aisha tightly, trying her best to calm her noble soul from the exhaustion of facing the cold reality, comforting and praising her as best she could. The moons disappear behind the clouds and reappear, only to pass behind other clouds. Finally, Aisha stopped crying.
“Hey, Aisha?” Kaleesh asks when the girl regained consciousness. “Will you come with me?”
“T-But Miss Kaleesh..” Aisha protested, “I will be of no use to you! I'm not strong, and my memory is bad, and I'm picky about what I eat... I will definitely only cause trouble for you.”.
Kaleesh laughs. “That's not a problem at all! I'm not looking for more combat power, and I'm pretty sure of my memories. And for your picky nature, we will only buy the food you like!”
“T-But... Why would you want to travel with someone like me?” Aisha looked a little cautious, but was more confused. He looked at Kaleesh with big foggy eyes.
Kaleesh decided to give him a straightforward and honest answer. “Because I want to be with you,” he said. “Is that not enough?”
“Eee...” Aisha squeaks. “T-No, that's enough..” he said. "Thank you..."
“Again,” Kaleesh continued, “I must make you my soul's servant to save your life. That means my own strength might affect how you develop from now on. I hope you don't mind.”
He looks very anxious. Dragon Bound Servants were abilities that players could use to bring NPCs that could be recruited into their services. It also gave Aisha the power of the Dragon Priestess.
"I don't mind!" Aisha squeaks, hastily convinces Kaleesh. “Actually, I feel flattered! But... still... I just..”.
“'C-Beautiful'?! Ah ha..”
Aisha's worries will be resolved in time. In just a few decades, his body would finish developing his magic power, and then he would become even more powerful.
“No, actually I was a little dishonest,” Kaleesh said. He lowered his gaze, suddenly looking embarrassed. Then, he looked straight at Aisha. “I said I wanted a companion, but it was not appropriate,” he said. “I want you, Aisha.”
Aisha's face turned red. Kaleesh believes the colors are becoming similar, but he's not lying. He was so certain of the value of the girl in front of him that he had shared the power of the dragon with her.
“Close with me,” Kaleesh said. "I need you." She reached out her hand, taking Aisha walking by her side.
Aisha looked at her feet and trembled. He was clearly struggling to control his emotions. Finally, after a long pause, he knelt down and lowered his head respectfully. Before Kaleesh finds out what happened, Aisha holds both her hands and, of all the possibilities she can do, gently kisses him.
“Nyonyaku..” his sigh. “I swear I will serve you faithfully until the end of time.” He beamed at Kaleesh with an expression of pure happiness on his face.
Kaleesh could only stare in astonishment.

That day, the world shook. Four great dragons—ancient and legendary creatures equivalent to the gods—disappear. Even the Dragon Priestess, who had received their blessings, did not know where they were going or what their destination was. The Ancient Dragon Holy Church was engulfed in chaos.
The water dragon, the guardian of the Aquellion, had disappeared without a trace. The earth dragon, who lived within the sacred mountain of Airenberg, suddenly tore the earth apart with a terrifying rumbling sound and disappeared into its depths. The wind dragon and the fire dragon, which had no permanent residence, flew to an unknown place.
Dragons are extradimensional beings that coexist with humans.
Their extraordinary magical power gives them influence over the forces of nature, which they use benevolently for the benefit of society. Lake Aquellion, home to water dragons, is perhaps the most famous example of their blessing. It was the largest freshwater lake in the world, an endless source of pure water.
The dragons are wise. They will not leave without reason. But why did they disappear after coexisting with humanity for hundreds, or perhaps thousands, of years?
“What might happen..?” the pastor wondered in vain. After that, today came to be known as the Catastrophe of the Dragons—a sign of a great disturbance to the natural order. The world does not yet know that the disappearance of dragons also signifies the emergence of new creatures.
*
In fact, disruption to the natural order is not far from it. Under the dry bottom of the lake, something started to move.
“Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha..” a woman laughs, her voice tinged with deep hatred. “Finally... Finally, I have risen!”
He looked around him— who was still burning with embers— with disgust. “But who can do this, I wonder,” he said. “Maybe they mean to kill*hku?” The displeasure in his voice was enough to stir terror in anyone's heart. Even the fiercest monsters would run from before him.
“Well, no problem,” he said, and his eyes began to glow red. “Soon, my wounds will heal, and then I will take revenge!”
