Half Dragon Girl And Elf

Half Dragon Girl And Elf
Chapter 18's

"What-what?!" fun adventurers. There was a sickening metallic sound and groaned as his bars collapsed entirely. "Well?!"

Kaleesh ignored the cries of astonishment and stepped calmly into the prison. The place was dirty from sweat, body dirt, and pitiful tears, and there were a dozen women and girls of all ages sprawling in an irregular pile. The oldest seems to be almost forty years old, while the youngest may be eight years old. It seemed like they had given up a long time ago; they were just corpses. Some of them seemed to move slightly, and Kaleesh even thought he heard one of them muttering that they had been saved, yet the children and older women did not move in the slightest.

“You can get out of here now if you are still alive,” Kaleesh said. “Or if you prefer to take the easy way out, I can give you a painless death. But first, I think I need to heal you. But a fair warning: healing magic is not my forte. Mag Remedium..” He could have shared the potion for everyone to use, but he wanted to see how well his healing magic worked.

Apparently, it worked pretty well. “No way... Lukaku lost!”

“It's very warm..”.

“Even pant*tku feels better!”

“Then, I guess there's nothing you can do about selap*t dara. That's a shame."

After everyone recovered, Kaleesh took out a number of clothes from his storage and handed them to the now much happier prisoners. The outfits come from perverted Kaleesh supporters, so many of them are fancy costumes like nurse outfits or cheongsam.

But there's a problem. Two of the girls were still unwilling to move—a child who looked no older than ten years old and a woman in her twenties.

"You want to die?" Kaleesh asked.

The boy did not want to. He cried and shook his head. Yet he looked still on guard, as he looked at Kaleesh with fear in his eyes. The fact that Kaleesh is also an attractive young woman does not seem to be a problem.

The girl moved her mouth without a sound, trying desperately to speak, but her voice seemed to be unsuccessful. No matter how hard he tried, there was no result. It must be a conditioned response—he will soon find out that words or screams will only make the man violent.

“Peace, calm down..” Kaleesh pats the girl's head gently. “Everything is fine. You are safe now.” She dressed the girl in a polar bear costume that was very soft to the touch and lifted her to her shoulder.

“Uuhhh...” the girl succeeded. “I..aak..”

Kaleesh understood what he wanted to say—his gratitude was clearly visible in his soul.

“You are really brave,” Kaleesh told her. “I'm here to help; you can relax now.”

After all, Kaleesh was half human. He was full of desire to save those in need and even heal their wounds if they were injured. Even if she didn't, she had promised Aisha that she would help people she could help, and that of course included these women.

“Now,” Kaleesh continues. “Last girl. What should I do with you?”

The woman sat down on the wall of the cave, looking at the whole world like an empty husk. His soul, which was severely wounded and full of deep hatred, did not even react to Kaleesh's words. Although his body had been healed, it seemed that his heart had not been. There was no light in his eyes—no indication that he was aware of his surroundings.

There is no doubt anymore.

The world is a cruel place. Not everyone is blessed with happiness or good fortune. Even in peaceful Japan, there is no shortage of people who choose to bun*h themselves. There are many people who consider life to be the cause of suffering. If this woman, with her wounded soul, really wanted to die, it seemed like Kaleesh had no right to judge. At least, as a - or a - wyrm who has power over the workings of the soul, he can give the woman mercy for being sent to her grave in peace.

"Are you ready?" Kaleesh asked, and the girl slowly closed her eyes. It seemed like it was a good answer that he would get. "alright. At least I'll give you some sleep. Rebirth Hypnosis...?!”

Kaleesh's spell is interrupted by the girl riding on his shoulder. He pulled Kaleesh back with all the weak forces he could muster. “S...Stah..”

"Stopped?" Kaleesh asked. "Look at the woman."

The girl continued to try her hardest to speak. “T-T...t...t... please.... you....”.

He said... Now it's my turn to help me? Kaleesh had no idea what kind of history the two girls had with each other. It was indeed a sad story, but they had also once existed for each other. They share a real bond. Kaleesh may not be able to affect the older girl's heart, but maybe this kid can do something. And maybe Kaleesh can help.

“I understand,” said. “Then I leave him to you. Anima Mag: Soul Link!”

Kaleesh's spell will be a bridge between the soul of the girl who lost her speech ability and the girl who shuts herself against words. It was thinner than thin, but only a thread of hope he had.

Kaleesh lowered the girl to the ground and directed his hand to touch the older girl's hand. “Do it, my little hero,” said. He has done everything he can. The rest depends on both of them.

“Sorry to have waited,” Kaleesh said. “Now it's your turn.”

At that time, Aisha found a key ring. "I found it!" But he's too late. Kaleesh had cut the bars in the adventurer cell with his claws as easy as he had.

"Imust be!" exclaim Garen.

“It is magically reinforced steel!”

Apparently, this was a shocking feat, but to Kaleesh, the two cages did not feel different at all. Whatever charm the cage bars had, its claws pierced through it without any resistance.

“N-Mrs!” aisha protest. “T-But I found the key..!”

"That's not the point!!!" Garen, Sasha, and their fourth party member, A’lu, replied simultaneously.

Kaleesh moved towards the astonished adventurers, splitting their thick and magically strengthened restraints with a single flash of his red claws.

“Hah!”

"What-what?!"

"Well?!"

All three were released in an instant.

“It looks like we don't need the key.” Aisha pouted.

"Oh! Sorry, Aisha!” Kaleesh. “I just think this sounds like a tough job, checking which lock opens which lock. But good work you found them. Thank you." Thank you."

There is only one prisoner left.

It was definitely a restraint, but Kaleesh did not feel enough strength from it so it was worth watching out for.

"Wait!" Sasha screaming. “It was a binding spell! You can't—” But Kaleesh has stepped in. There was a buzzing sound like static electricity, and the circle spread out.

“Hm?” Kaleesh. “Is it just for show?” He thought there would be resistance, or at least the circle would have an effect on him, but instead, the circle disappeared quietly as he stepped in.

“I don't think it can stop a monster that can break through magic steel.” Garen grumbled.

“Excellent,” added Sasha. “It doesn't make sense at all..”

Kaleesh chose to ignore it. “Yes, it saved us from trouble!” she said. “Next is your collar. Looks like enough..”

"Mrs!" aisha protest. “Do not see!”

“You want me to close my eyes?” Kaleesh asked. “That sounds dangerous. But this collar reminds me of the one used by the Tamer class with their Domination abilities.” There is an item in ArtiMagic Online that allows players to temporarily control the characters—although only monsters are truly obedient.

“It was a magic sealing necklace,” Krista said. “Devices to limit the flow of magic power. But with your strength, it is most likely that it will break if you do it—”

Kaleesh did not wait for Krista to finish before putting his finger on the collar.

“Nh...” Krista moans. Kaleesh had tried to be gentle as he filled that unwanted accessory with his own magic, but... “Gah! Uh! B-Be gentle!”

"Huh?" Kaleesh. “But it's almost broken! A little more!”

Krista's cheeks were flushed with energy. He gritted his teeth and trembled in pain. Although he did not show that on his face, it was obvious that he was already nearing the limit of his abilities. "Aah!" she cried. “Ahhhhh... Nh... Haah... Haah...” Suddenly—and accidentally—views start to look very bad.

“This is a bit obscene..” said Aisha.

Aisha! Don't say that! Kaleesh thought furiously.

“Touching with other people's magic like that is usually uncomfortable,” explains Sasha. “Can be tickling or even painful if the amount is large. Looks like this time it's really bad..”.

Kaleesh's magic power is enormous. It must have been more painful than Krista or Kaleesh anticipated.

“A little more..” says Kaleesh. “OK, the! Lastly, your shackles—” Krista didn't wait for Kaleesh to release her from her final restraint.

Expressionless but clearly enraged, he forcefully pulled his handcuffs. The magically reinforced steel groaned and bent until finally, just as Kaleesh began to wonder if it was going to happen, it broke.

Krista's blue hair fluttered gracefully, enveloped in her magic light.

The room temperature also seemed to drop by a few degrees. It was a scary sight.

“Um...” Kaleesh searching for words. “As...sorry?”

“It's your fault for not using the key, Mistress!” said Aisha.

“Thank you for the help,” Krista said with a sigh. He doesn't seem very grateful. In fact, he did not want to look Kaleesh in the face at all.

“Crista!” Sasha—braid—hugging its leader tightly.

“I'm sorry,” Krista said as she wiped a tear from the corner of Sasha's eye. “I'm completely guilty of this. I should never have involved you in something as dangerous as—”

But before he could finish, Krista's head was hit with three hands at once.

“Do not be silly!”

"Yes! Don't be silly!”

“You're acting very silly.”

“Sick..” protest Krista.

“We are adventurers!” Garen stated. “We face death every day of our lives!”

“The risk is high, the reward is high,” continued A’lu.

“We want to get involved!” said Sasha. “We're not strangers, are we? You don't think we need to be protected, do you?”

"NO!"

"Look, right?! Then don't say such sad things.”

"I'm sorry." Krista looked a little calm. She hugged Sasha tightly and looked up. "Thank you everyone. Now, let's get out of here.”

“Not enough,” says Kaleesh. “Don't hesitate to keep praising the life of adventure if you want, but someone is still fighting for his life there.”

“H-Hey!” sasha protest.

"What are they doing?" Krista asked as she looked at the two girls in the other cage.

Kaleesh laughs. “Souls they connect!” he said as he looked at the couple with a softer expression than usual. “I guess you guys can call it a family quarrel!”
