"Once again forgive me, Aunt." Said Daniel.
Mom was silent for a moment and then nodded. "I don't want to go beyond God for not forgiving your mistakes." Reply Mother.
"Thank you, Auntie." Daniel said with a faint smile. He felt unexpected with the greatness of his heart to forgive his mistakes. Daniel's gaze fell on Father who seemed to turn his gaze toward the outside of the house. "Uncle.." said Daniel restrained because Dad raised his hand in the air.
"I've forgiven you too." Saying Father.
Daniel rubbed his face. A sense of haru now enveloped the recesses of his heart seeing how big the hearts of the two parents of the woman he had hurt his heart and feelings.
"Thank you Uncle. Thank you Auntie..." Daniel said sincerely.
Mother nodded. Dad was silent without movement. She whispered something into my ear and stroked her husband's hand.
"I'll go back first. Wait a minute." Mom said and got up from her seat.
Daniel nodded. After Mom's departure, the atmosphere in the living room became quiet because Dad did not seem to want to make a sound.
"Uncle..." Daniel's voice also managed to make Dad turn his eyes to Daniel.
"I forgive you doesn't mean I'll let you take my granddaughter for granted." Press Dad. Given that Daniel was from a fairly influential circle it was not impossible for the man to use his power to take Zeline from their side.
"I'm not going to do what Uncle thinks. I just asked for the opportunity to do my responsibility to Zeline as her real father. I also asked permission so that I could introduce myself as the biological father of my son." Daniel says.
I stared intently at Daniel's face. Reading the look on Daniel's face right now that seemed earnest when he said it.
The arrival of the mother back while carrying a drink made Dad undo his intention to talk.
"Please drink first, son of Daniel." Mother said as she placed the drink in front of Daniel.
After Daniel drank his drink, Dad spoke up.
"You can do it because it's a right that I have as the father of my grandchildren. But you must remember, if there is currently my daughter who may not accept your request. As parents, we just want to see our daughter happy."
"I understand, Uncle. I will try to get sorry from Naina and give my affection to Zeline." Daniel replied seriously.
"Did you know that Naina already has a boyfriend?" Ask Mom.
Daniel nodded.
"I hope you are a wise man in making decisions. Let our daughter Naina be happy with her choice and you can also be happy with your fiancee. To give Zeline love and responsibility, you and Naina can do it together without any bond. I think you quite understand what I mean." Says Mother softly.
"I get it, Auntie. Here I also do not want to give a new wound to Naina. Right now I just want to apologize to her and give our daughter her real status. I don't want Zeline forever living a lie. Thank you for the apologies from my Aunt and Uncle that I may not deserve. I will try to resolve this matter without any one party getting hurt."
