After a long conversation, Zeline's eyes slowly closed after Daniel gently rubbed his head.
"She looks a lot like Naina" muttered Daniel looking at Zeline's sleeping face. Daniel pulled a blanket over his daughter. A feeling of happiness now filled Daniel's heart because for the first time he could feel sleep with his baby. "Papa will not waste you and will always try to give his best for you. Papa really loves you." Daniel kisses his daughter's long forehead to channel his affection to Zeline.
That night Daniel didn't really sleep. The man prefers to look at the face of his daughter who is sleeping as if he does not want to break his gaze. Zeline's chatter in her sleep that kept calling her name made Daniel so full. How not, Daniel can feel the enormous affection from Zeline for him even though only through his chaos. Not even once did Zeline mention Naina's name in her sleep.
"Father danteng..." Racau Zeline for the next time with a smile.
"My son..." Daniel was rendered speechless and preferred to hug his daughter tightly. Daniel's thoughts also drifted on the habit that always happened to him every time he fell asleep lately. Naina shook her head. "It doesn't seem like it yet, Auntie. Daniel hasn't been out of the room since." Reply Naina.
"Nai, you better wake Daniel and Zeline up now because it's time for breakfast."
Naina seemed to think. "But..." Naina hesitated to enter her own room.
"Naina, let's wake Daniel up quickly." Timpal Mom saw Naina thinking too long.
"All right, ma'am." Naina replies and comes out of the kitchen.
"Daniel's... Zeline.." said Naina as she walked slowly towards the bed.
The sight in front of her made Naina speechless. Naina stared intently at her daughter's peaceful face in Daniel's arms.
Zeline... my daughter... is Zel now happy because he can feel sleep in the arms of a father? Naina's gaze began to blur because her eyes were already inundated. All this time he always closed himself off from the fact that his daughter really missed his father figure even though the tiny lips could not speak. And now he realized, if he can not cover the role of a father in Zeline's life with his role as a mother as well as a father.
Naina rubbed her suddenly wet cheeks. Doubtfully his hand was stretched out to pat Daniel on the shoulder to wake him up.
"Daniel.." said Naina quietly while patting Daniel on the shoulder.
"Daniel.." for the second time Naina patted Daniel on the shoulder because Daniel did not respond. As she was about to pat for the third time, Naina's intention came to a halt as Daniel's eyes opened slowly until now their two gazes clashed against each other.
