HEART
Go away

"You're crazy!"

Leon knew the man standing in front of his cafe was Adam. Not a mere hallucination because he still imagined the incident some time ago—which left a mark on the corner of his lips until now. With a haughty look that was still the same, the man occasionally noticed her with a cold gaze. Then throw his gaze back on the streets around him, take a cigarette out of his pants pocket and suck it to dispel boredom.

"I believe that you really love her, but I think that since a few days ago, you've started to forget her."

Psyche's gaze was still as cold since the woman said that the relationship had ended. But Adam's presence makes Leon even more clueless, what the woman is really doing.

"Do you want to repay your heartache to Adam? Answer me, Psyche! If that's what you want to do, I suggest you stop right now! For God's sake you're gonna get hurt!"

Psyche lowered her head to stare at the coffee cup that had not been touched at all.

Leon was obviously disappointed in her. And he deserves to be called crazy like that.

"I even hate myself."

The white-haired man snorted violently. "That's why you're doing all this. You've never loved yourself, Psyche." Then his gaze softened, with a sigh he again said, "You are right. I can never understand you."

Psyche smiled bitterly. He never let Leon understand him. He makes boundaries with Leon for fear of making the man hurt more by himself. Enough of that one-sided love that broke his heart, don't let another wound break his heart into pieces.

"He came here to apologize" Psyche took a sip of the black coffee that had been with him lately. He hated the drink because of its bitterness. "I'll give you time. Either way Adam had to apologize for what he did the other day."

Leon laughed heartily. He saw Psyche come out and spoke to the man for a while. Then in the blink of an eye, the figure that had always been the attention of the two women he had been and was liking was already sitting with both hands folded in the chest.

"I'm doing this because I'm lazy to argue with Psyche." Adam said without further ado. "I'm sorry."

Leon closed his eyes for a moment. He tried to think as clearly as possible. In his heart there was an intention to avenge the man's blow, but Adam slipped the name Psyche in his words. And that's what made him just take a breath back.

"You asked him to come back to you?"

Adam grinned, "Wouldn't Psyche return to me, can you be with Miranda?"

"It has nothing to do with Miranda."

"There certainly is," Adam smiled faintly. "The woman likes me."

"Then what about you?" Leon asked calmly. "Have you been in a relationship with her like friend with benefit?"

Miraculously, Adam chuckled instead of feeling offended by the man's words. "You're very curious, yes."

Leon snorted, "No. I've only been thinking about Psyche's feelings all this time."

The man's smile faded. His eyes glanced at Psyche's back which looked smaller than the distance so far. Her long hair seemed to be flying because of the wind. And once in a while his head looked up, staring at the shady sky. He just realized, if soon stepping on autumn.

Leon realized that. Realizing how Adam looked at Psyche. In the two black beads that always looked cold there was something inexplicable. Either make himself relieved, or even make him more afraid. Fear because the two men's temperament could backfire for both. Fear that one day the reason they got back together was the reason that would make them destroy each other.

But can he hope a little after he sees Adam's gaze on Psyche today? Could he give the man a little gap to be able to once again correct his mistake?

Although he knew Adam apologized to him not for his own initiative, but for Psyche's guilt.

But that's exactly what makes him rethink, what if it's true that Adam's feelings have changed?

Didn't Adam never give in to women?

"You're back at him."

Psyche found Miranda the next day as she came out of the toilet. Just to discuss his love affair with Adam, the woman desperately intercepted him even though she knew how busy the secretary was.

"So that night, she went home to you."

"You mean—the night you expressed your true feelings?"

The quiet toilet state benefits both of them.

Miranda stood in front of the mirror and looked at him through the reflection of the object. He seemed to be trying to hide his surprise.

"You're acting like you really know him," Psyche chuckled, "You don't think Adam knew that you were interested in him all this time?" His head shook, "Ah, no, no. You loved her. Unfortunately love is only one-sided."

"You—" Miranda turned around. The finger that is ready to lead to Psyche in fact even back clenched on the side of the body. He now regrets what he said to Adam. He thought the man would continue to be by his side, even without any strings attached.

Psyche looked at him flatly. There were no small glances or taunts there. But his words about unilateral love hit his heart. It was painful after knowing that the two were reunited.

"Actually you two are so sick of me." Psyche take a step forward. Undauntedly staring at the two senior beads. "You can make Adam comfortable, but you've never loved him. And I always made Adam angry, but I was the one chosen by him."

"You knew Adam from the start was just playing around with you. Adam was always like that. He was just curious at what looked new and unfamiliar." Miranda knew she had lost. But his words are the truth.

Psyche also did not refuse, "No problem, I'll make him deterred to play."

The woman then passed, leaving Miranda who was holding back the urge of tears in her eyes.

It hurts more than the failure of the household just yet. At least, he had it before it was destroyed. But what's happening now is that it was destroyed before it even started.
