HEART

HEART
Bali

Adam suddenly woke up. Gutted in the darkness of Psyche's room sleeping beside her with a smooth snoring.

The woman turned her back. Let him hug his small back and look fragile.

At least Psyche is still here and she realizes that the woman's departure was just a nightmare.

After the incident last afternoon, Psyche asked to be hugged to sleep after finishing her dinner. There was no more debate at that time, only the breath of mutual disdain and small kisses that Adam occasionally floated.

He no longer cares about the summer holidays that have been neatly arranged. Although there is no sunbathing or swimming at the beach, in fact he is happy to be able to spend all day at the inn with Psyche.

He decided to make peace with himself. His heart was full each time he saw the wound on the woman's head. Not just a feeling of guilt, but a fear that always makes his sleep uneasy.

"If you don't believe me..." Adam touched the bandage and whispered softly, "Why do you want to save me?"

They always wanted to destroy each other. They always hate their own ego.

"What have you done, Psyche..." His throat was choked when he said the woman's name. "After all this, how could I possibly let you go?"

There's no answer.

Adam went back to sleep hugging Psyche even tighter. Brackets the woman's tiny body with her burly arms.

Unwittingly Adam, both Psyche beads have been open for quite some time. Staring at the starry sky from behind a window that was deliberately left open.

Then, a drop of water obscured his view. The shadow of the stars is gone.

Psyche cried without a sound.

All his nightmares are no longer just nightmares.

After the summer break, Adam returns to the office and finds rumors of him dating his own subordinates spread as fast as lightning.

But that was not what bothered him, but rather a letter of resignation from a Psyche Heartfillia.

No one knew how the letter was already on his desk and no one knew where the woman was going.

After a whole day Adam knocked on the door of his apartment like a doormat. Tried to contact him even though he knew his number was off. Drive his car to every corner of London, hoping he finds Psyche there.

But it's all free. Even Leon had sworn that he had no knowledge of Psyche's departure.

Adam is crazy. He berated the woman along the way, swearing at her with all her grunt. Kicking his car as a form of desperation to be able to find the woman.

On the side of the road, as the day went to dusk, he lit his cigarette and sat on the hood of the car. Trying to calm the rumble in his chest, but then in one to two puffs, he threw the thing away.

That's not what he needs. Clearly his heart was so sick after being dumped by Psyche in this way. No farewell, no farewell, even without any debate.

The relationship is very fine.

"S*ALAN YOU'RE PSYCHE!" Adam stood on the edge of the road bridge and shouted without thinking about the gaze of the passerby.

"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!" His chest did not stop pulsing, the more it was held the more pain. "YOU WILL FEEL THE CONSEQUENCES OF HAVING LOOKED AT ME LIKE THIS!"

"I HATE YOU!" her lips trembled holding something that made her breath tight. "I REALLY HATE YOU J*LANG!"

It rained at the right time.

Adam was already indifferent to anything, even when his clothes were dirty as his body slumped to the ground.

Her tears mixed with the rain.

"When we get back to London, let's fix everything."

"I've always wished this was what we did long ago."

What does he know exactly? I don't even know what Psyche is thinking. His smile, his laughter, his silence, what can he understand from the woman?

"Sure, I'll send you the address."

"Whatchu mean? We can go together, right?"

Address.

Adam just remembered. He hurriedly raised his head. Run towards the car to grab the phone and look for the last message from Psyche. No matter what wet conditions make it look sad.

The night before Psyche's departure, they had a chat about plans to visit her parents. Adam wanted to get to know the woman more closely, wanted to understand her and give the woman a chance to gain her trust.

"This address..."

After getting what he was looking for without wasting time Adam again stepped on the gas. Follow GPS direction with speed instead of play. Every now and then he almost collides with another vehicle that ends up swearing at him.

His chest rumbled again, stunned by the sight he had gotten when he reached his destination.

Putting aside his car, Adam again broke through the rain, staring around his place standing filled with tombstones.

No way!

This is impossible.

This place was a special cemetery for the Heartfillia clan.

He doesn't understand all this. Not understanding at all.

Adam's eyes stare at every corner of the cemetery and hope to find Psyche there. He had to go to the woman and ask her for an explanation.

Then when he turned his back, turning his gaze in another direction, he found a woman standing on his back with a black umbrella.

His heart skipped a beat faster, Adam took a quick step, climbing the slightly hilly cemetery until he could see the figure more clearly.

Her...

Adam's eyes are round. The woman turned around, as if aware of her presence. Her face was blocked by a black umbrella.

For a moment his ears felt buzzing and time seemed to stop in place.

"Mother...?"

It's been a few days since Miranda came into the office. His head was dizzy and he vomited several times. Some people think that he is heartbroken because the news of Adam and Psyche dating has spread. I don't know from whom the rumor was circulating, but he didn't think about it at all.

It seemed like he was exhausted and caught a cold, his nausea was really severe. Even last night he couldn't sleep because he was vomiting. That's why he had to go to the nearest clinic.

"You must not be late to eat and must rest regularly." Maria, the black-haired doctor smiled amiably. "Drinking tea with a mixture of honey and lemon can relieve your nausea."

Miranda's eyebrows shot up, "There's no recipe for me?"

This time Maria frowned, "Wait, lest you not know?"

Sakura blinked slowly, "What? What do you mean?"

Maria sighed softly while chuckling. "Mrs Miranda, you're pregnant, she's two weeks old."
