0044. Adieu Force (The Forced Separation)
Two handsome men with handsome faces stood face to face. The atmosphere around them seemed to freeze, stopping time. Eliminate the presence of people around in plain sight. Each of them often attracts attention. So do not be surprised if met in one frame, their charm will be involved in a dispute.
“Go back to the border. Continue your noble duties there.”
One—more precisely the man who occupies the status as king spoke up. Indirect orders are punishments given, under the guise of noble duty. Defending Robelia's far border, she hopes her sister will never set foot in downtown Robelia. Not the death he expected, but the absence. His sister's presence in the world was something that was never planned. As the only boy born in the lineage of the king at that time, he always felt “pressure” since the arrival of rivals.
The competitor was none other than his own half-sister who came unaccompanied. Only a red baby wrapped in a thick blanket came to the kingdom of Robelia, on behalf of a woman who was a prisoner of war from a country that had just been conquered by Robelia. There was nothing wrong with him, but in the eyes of the now powerful king, his presence in the world was a mistake. He wanted nothing but to be kept away from his sister. So that ... his position remains safe, and he no longer needs to work hard to maintain what he must maintain.
However, for the first time, his sister, who had never demanded anything since birth, was raised by the royal Robelia, wanted something that clearly belonged to the king. The king who is currently in power is of course angry. For him, once he asks, there will be subsequent requests.
“Is the noble task you mean the punishment for sins I never committed?”
“This is not a punishment, Prince. This is a noble task given directly by King Robelia.”
“If you forget, I have been carrying out this noble task since I was sixteen,” replied the sister. Kaezar Kadheston's.
“As far as you want to call it,” said the king. Kaizen Kadheston's. “Which is clear, go back to the border. Never come back, if the place has not been fully in a conducive situation.”
Kaezar remained speechless with a flat facial expression. Anyone knows that the border area in which he is in power will never be in a conducive condition, unless good negotiations are carried out. Kaezar's side has been trying to negotiate with the indigenous people who live in the area across the border of the kingdom of Robelia. However, they are reluctant to respond, because once once disappointed by the authority of the king of Robelia who requires their side to become slaves among the nobility. Because of the misunderstanding, until now the war continues on the border. In addition to conflicts with the natives from the opposite region, the border also became a residence of bandits, robbers, pirates, and other criminals from various countries. They also aggravate the atmosphere, because they do not want the region to enter any kingdom.
“Thus, you never want me back.”
“Of course not,” rebut the king. There was a mysterious smile created at the corners of his lips. “This palace is too big for my own family to live in. Still enough place to accommodate your little family later.”
Speech and proof that are not comparable. Wh why? Because if Kaizen was willing to give up the empty space in the palace for Kaezar's residence, the man could not possibly give up the duties and titles that required Kaezar to immediately leave the palace. After all, Kaizen never considered Kaezar to exist, let alone as part of a family.
“I will return to the border,” Kaezar said later. It managed to surprise Kaizen, but the man was good at covering up the shock.
Not only Kaizen who was surprised, but the audience who had listened to the conversation since. They did not expect that the Imperial Young Eagle would return to agree with the king's word easily. In the next instant, they were stunned again with Kaezar's sentence.
“This time there is something I want in return.”
“Defix?” reset Kaizen. There was a slanted smile. “Is one coffin pices d’or and two chests Pices d’argent given the government as an allowance is not enough? I heard your estate in Sicily is already filled with deposits of pies d’or and Pices d’.”
The insinuation meant nothing to Kaezar. He did receive one coffin pices d’or and two crates Pices d’ each month as a allowance. However, he never used them for personal use. He only used all that for the internal expenditure of the territory of Sicily, as well as the operational costs of the estate he lived in Sicily. Some of them were given equally to the less able people in the territory of Sicily.
“Not the treasure or throne I want in return, if successfully bring the border region at the most conducive conditions.”
“Lantas what?”
Kaezar looked at the king with real confidence in his eyes. “Let me relinquish my status as a noble surnamed Kadheston.”
The noise immediately filled the atmosphere inside the room. They never expected that the prince, the only prince still single, would want his royal status removed. Though the position of prince Kaezar is very important for the integrity of the kingdom of Robelia. Remembering he was the only prince left from the previous king. He also has great merit in maintaining the security of Robelia territory.
“Loosing the title of nobleman? Then what would you get without a peerage?”
“Squieter life in simplicity,” replied Kaezar. “I will also stop serving the Military Robelia.”
Raffle. Maybe that's the feeling the audience starts to feel. So did Kaizen. Perhaps, rather, he was curious. What a sudden reason made Kaezar want to give up the title of nobility and his position on the defense Robelia. There must be something wrong with him. If that happens, it's a pity, because they have to lose an easy, multitalented officer like Kaezar.
“Think once again. If that's really what you want, then I'll consider.”
“Nothing I need to think about anymore,” said Kaezar. “My decision is already round,” he continued steadily.
After conveying such a shocking wish, Kaizen was unable to hold Kaezar back. The handsome man immediately rushed away, about to return to the border that very day. The shadow forces under Kaezar's command have also been withdrawn, ordered to prepare immediately, returning to the border. Apparently the guy wasn't kidding.

The punishment given to Kayena has spread widely, as quickly as rumors linking her and Kaezar's affair spread. Now the information has reached the ears of various layers of society Robelia. Unmitigated, that day Kayena immediately packed her clothes, because she would leave the palace immediately. Sobs were heard in several corners of the queen's palace, especially Kayena's main residence.
“There is nothing you need to cry about,” Kayena said as she spoke to her workers. “If you believe in me, you will definitely hold fast to the truth.”
The workers who were mostly made up of women nodded with the roar of tears that had yet to recede. They could not go to the White Castle to serve Kayena, as only two servants were allowed to follow Kayena. That is the order of the king.
Despite leaving the palace, Kayena did not forget her responsibility to give severance to the workers. It has given each of them a bag of pieces d’or, in which there are 150s more gold pieces that can be exchanged for various commodities. As the master, as well as the queen they had been serving, Kayena gave them their last duty before serving time; that is, to return home. Indirectly, Kayena gave them a ration of “cuti” which is usually difficult once they get.
“Back safely, Her Majesty the Queen. We will all be faithfully waiting for you,” said one waiter, representing the others.
Kayena smiled faintly as she nodded. “I will definitely return safely, even if it is not this place where I go home.”
After parting ways with the workers at the queen's palace, Kayena and her troupe—, which consisted only of her, Kima, a head chef, joined her, two guards rushed to the White Castle on one of the remote islands that belonged to Robelia's kingdom. Kayena's surprise came when she managed to leave the palace gate, because outside the towering walls, the people were already waiting for her presence.
Kayena had thought if they would be disappointed, because it was consumed by rumors circulating. However, his conjecture was wrong, as they all still believed in his queen. Cheers colored the simple horse-drawn carriage ride by Kayena. The window was left open, as it was part of a scheme to humiliate the face of the traitor who was usually paraded using an ordinary horse carriage. In contrast to Kayena, because the window that was left open instead made it able to directly meet face to face with people who would miss his presence.
“Go Queen Kayena. Your decision to be with the Prince is correct!”
Kayena smiled faintly when she heard the scream. Not only did they deliver his departure, they also brought various kinds of flowers to be thrown towards Kayena's horse carriage. Not junk, or rotten food, as is commonly done on horse-drawn carriages transporting traitors. They threw fresh flowers, even made a Lobelia flower arrangement that became the royal emblem of Robelia for Kayena.
“Take care of yourself,” Kayena said before leaving downtown Robelia, along with her loyal people.
The horse carriage that carried it was heavily guarded by ten soldiers from the special forces. They were asked to deliver the queen to the White Castle safely.
In the middle of the journey, suddenly the horse carriage they were riding stopped. Kayena asked Kima, why did they stop? though they had just arrived in the wilderness that would be a link to the island where the White Castle was located.
“Your Majesty the Queen, come down.”
Kayena was stunned to hear. That ... Kaezar's voice. He confirmed his hearing by asking Kima. However, his listener was not wrong.
“What are you doing here, Prince?” asked Kayena who had just gotten out of the horse carriage.
His gaze immediately met a beautiful man who was standing not far from him.
“I just want to do a decent farewell.”
Kayena fell silent. The current situation seemed to support them to talk together, because the soldiers assigned by Kaizen also gave them space to talk.
“We won't meet anytime soon, so I want to meet you.”
“This action is very dangerous, Prince. You can get additional penalties if caught.”
Kaezar smiled faintly as Kayena approached towards him. “Life I've been used to getting punishment,” he replied, flat delay. “I just want to meet before we part.”
The separation between them was very forced. Their relationship had just begun. But how else. Kayena also did not want to put Kaezar in danger.
“May I hug you for the last time?”
Kayena gasps. Currently the distance between them was only a few centimeters.
“If you do not allow ..”
“Thank you, for coming.”
Kaezar's sentence was cut off by Kayena's actions which suddenly poured into his arms. Not getting there, Queen Robelia also made him surprised by the phrase he was thrown.
“I will definitely miss you.”
Kaezar smiled faintly as he returned the embrace. One warm kiss then he left at the top of the head the only woman who managed to make the disease not relapse.
“Hold me even though you miss me so much, Kayena. I'll pick you up soon, if my job is done.”
