At exactly 8 am, Hilda, Gus Afnan and the Hilda family were gathered in the courtyard of Hilda's house to take Hilda who was going back to the boarding school.
"Hilda's father left first huh?"hilda said, kissing her father's hand.
"Be careful Nduk, be the wife of Sholehah, follow what your husband says yah" said Hilda's father by rubbing the child's head.
Hilda turned to her sister who was holding back sad and happy, she hugged Hilda tightly as if she did not want to let go. Hilda is his only sister.
"So Sholehah's wife well don't be reckless" said the brother while shedding tears.
"Hilda nitip father yah mbak, take care of the health of both of you" Hilda replied while wiping the tears of her brother, then kissed his hand.
Gus Afnan did the same thing with Hilda kissing the hand of the in-laws and in return the embrace of Hilda's father.
"Father nitip dad son yah nak" said the father in the ear Gus Afnan.
"Well sir I will take care of my father and also my wife" said Gus Afnan .
After saying goodbye Hilda and Gus Afnan also entered a car that was deliberately left for Gus Afnan when going home to the boarding school.
While on the way no one talks to make the atmosphere in a quiet car. Gus Afnan broke the silence by asking Hilda.
"Kok diem?why sweetheart?"said Gus Afnan while his left hand held Hilda's hand and the other to drive.
"It's okay mas, just a little sad" Hilda said with a smile towards her husband.
"I'm sorry well" said Gus Afnan while rubbing the head of his wife who was covered in hijab.
"First if I was going to go to the cottage my feelings were ordinary there was no sadness, color maybe I went to study" said Hilda paused her speech.
"But now I'm leaving as the wife of a man whom God intended to be my guide" Hilda said, bowing.
"You will also be there to get more rewards than studying, which is serving me as a wife" said Gus Afnan with a smile.
After several hours of travel now Hilda and Gus Afnan have reached the gate of the boarding school, many students who welcome him on the right and left sides. Seeing that Hilda is very nervous as well as embarrassed.
"Why hmm?"gus Afnan saw Hilda.
"I'm nervous and embarrassed" said Hilda.
"Don't be nervous I'm by your side, you're my wife so don't worry" Gus Afnan said.
The car had arrived in front of the house owned by the Gus Afnan family, the students came to help Gus Afnan and Hilda carry their belongings.
"Let me take Ning?"said the princess when she saw Hilda carrying her suitcase.
"Ahhh don't let me" said Hilda subtly.
"Eehhhh the children of ummi have come home" said Ummi Khadijah who is none other than the mother of the husband.
"Iya ummi" said Gus Afnan while greeting his umminya followed by Hilda.
"Yaudah let's go in, you must be cape" said Ummi while holding Hilda.
They were sitting in the living room, Gus Afnan glanced to and fro that did not see his Abi.
"Come on Mi?"gus Afnan asked his ummi who was sitting next to Hilda.
"Oh Abi went to see his best friend Kiyai Ansor, he said he was very sick" Umminya said as he looked at the son.
"Sunday also Abi silaturahmi there kiyai Ansor, ask you" said Umminya to Gus Afnan.
"Why ask Afnan Mi?"said Gus Afnan, even though he already knew his purpose must be about Ning Latifah. But Gus Afnan didn't think much of it.
"Ohh why didn't Ummi come?"gus Afnan changed the subject.
"No, Ummi wants to wait for Ummi's daughter-in-law to come home" said Ummi Khadijah while wiping Hilda's arm.
Hilda who was treated like that just looked down and smiled.
"Surely you're hungry, right?we eat first yah." said ummi Khadija to Hilda.
"But if Ummi hasn't eaten let Hilda befriend him." Hilda continued.
"No Nduk, ummi had eaten with Abi before she left" Ummi Khadijah said with a smile.
"Yes, you have been restless first, surely you have cape out of the long journey" said the Ummi.
"Yes we have disreshat dulun ya Ummi" said Gus Afnan and moved on.
"Hilda lived istrahat first huh Ummi?" hilda.
"Yes please Nduk ." said Umm Khadijah.
After saying goodbye to Umminya he also invited Hilda to go to his room to rest.
"Please enter the deck, sorry well the room is a mess" said Gus Afnan invited the wife to enter.
"Thank you" said Hilda as she walked in and looked around, there was a wardrobe and a closet for books and books, and there was a bathroom.
Hilda sat on the bed and watched Gus Afnan while asking him something.
Gus Afnan, who realized that, approached his wife and sat nearby.
"Why Deck?is there anything you want to ask?"gus Afnan said to his wife.
Hilda who hesitated to ask anything just lowered her head and shook her head in doubt. Gus Afnan who saw the doubt immediately caught the cheek of his wife.
"What do you want, baby?do not hesitate , if I am able to answer your question, God willing I will answer" he said softly.
Hilda who had been looking down slowly raised her head to look at the husband.
"I'm sorry if my question is presumptuous Mas" said Hilda.
"I just want to know, who is Kiyai Ansor?"hilda hesitated.
"I will answer but I beg you not to be angry?"gus Afnan said solemnly and Hilda just nodded.
"Kiyai Ansor is Abi's best friend when he was in school and studied at pesantren, Kiyai Ansor is also the same as Abi established a boarding school. He had his only child yaiutu Ning Latifah" Gus Afnan said with a look at Hilda who was also staring at him.
"Continue Mas"Hilda said.
"Mother Ning Latifah and wife of Kiyai Ansor have long died because of illness, before I graduated from college Abi and kiyai Ansor had already betrothed me to Ning Latifah, who was a child,but I refused because I wanted to study without having to think of someone waiting for me" said Gus Afnan by tightening his grip on Hilda's hand.
Hilda still quietly listened to Gus Afnan's story quietly, as if she had felt nothing. But deep in his heart he felt a bit of pain.
"Have I taken you from him?"hilda said, still staring at Gus Afnan.
"Dear not, you have not taken me from anyone, God has brought us together and God has written destiny" Gus Afnan said.
"It's well dear, it's just my past story before meeting you" Gus Afnan said.
"Dad I understand, you don't have to worry" said Hilda rubbed the back of Gus Afnan who embraced him.
"All right now we clean the body, there is still time to rest before the ashar prayer" said Gus Afnan while releasing his embrace.
The two of them have now cleaned up and prepared for the rest.
"As am I the only woman who will be in your heart after Ummi?said Hilda by lying next to Gus Afnan.
Gus Afnan who heard that also directly faced Hilda and hugged her,
"Of course, you will be the only one who fills my heart after Ummi, already well now we are disgraced" Gus Afnan said as he stroked Hilda's back,it didn't take long for a subtle snoring sound to be heard from Hilda's mouth.
