Kyra had just gotten off an online taxi when her phone vibrated inside the bag. He ignored the call and watched the not so large building that now loomed before him. Still at 10am, the phone call just now must have been from his father. At this hour Bara must be busy and can not pick up the phone from the father.
With a steady heart, Kyra entered the more similar building called the apothecary without the slightest doubt. As he read last night, the clinic is indeed veiled and only certain people know about it. Searching on Google last night, Kyra found nothing. Not losing his mind, he tried to log in to online discussion forum networks and register using a fake account. It was from there that Kyra finally found out the address of this clinic from one of the patients who had an abortion.
"Mba, I want content control" Kyra said as soon as she signed up at the counter.
The sentence is a password for patients who want to abor-si. And sure enough, the female officer who was on guard also asked Kyra's personal data. Quickly, Kyra gives her card ID which she keeps in her wallet.
"Okay, please wait a minute. Later we will call according to the queue number, while waiting please fill in the personal data and this affidavit." The female officer let Kyra sit and wait in the long chair at the end of the hall.
Kyra brought the registration papers and mixed with some women her age who had already queued there. Deftly, Kyra fills in her personal data and signs a statement on a blank sheet.
While waiting, Kyra noticed a pair of ABGs sitting in line not far from her. Maybe they are still Junior High School or High School, and what makes Kyra more upset, the same age has had an illicit relationship with her partner who is also very young. Kyra took a long breath.
I don't know how long it has been waiting, Kyra who began to saturate finally reached into the phone that he had ignored since. Seeing that there were 67 missed calls, Kyra's feather bristled. With trembling hands, Kyra checked the name that had contacted her. And when Bara's name came up, the pounding on Kyra's chest rumbled even faster.
"Kyra Sada." A call from a woman makes Kyra flinch in shock and almost drops her phone.
Kyra stood up. The officer watches her and asks Kyra to follow him inside. While putting her phone back in the bag, Kyra followed the steps of the woman who stopped at a door.
"May I request the registration papers and affidavit?" pinta the woman while raising her hand.
"Oh, yes. It's." Kira gave the sheet before the woman opened the brown door.
A man - who was wearing a white suit like a Doctor - smiled as Kyra entered the room. Shamefully Kyra came in and sat down after the Doctor had invited her.
"Sister Kyra Sada?" the doctor asked with a friendly smile.
Kira nodded." Right, Doctor," he said.
"There was a drug allergy before? Or maybe a history of illness?"
"I have asthma, Doctor." Kyra cut.
The doctor nodded while examining Kyra's self-data sheet. He folds both hands on the table and watches Kyra seriously.
"Before I take action, I will usually ask the patient a few things. Not intending to interfere in the personal affairs of the patient, it's just that I want to make sure there are no regrets that could happen later." The doctor began to stare intensely at Kyra. "Does the fetus you are carrying have a legitimate father? Does your husband or partner know if you're going to do this?"
"My partner is a man who already has a wife, Doctor. She didn't want this pregnancy, neither did I, which is why my determination was unanimous to have an abortion." Kyra uttered the lie with her head down and nose starting to itch.
"Is there no other way but abortion?" look at the doctor with a grim look.
Kyra shook her head and returned the Doctor's gaze. "Nothing, Doctor. This is the only way to solve our problems."
Long enough the atmosphere became silent for a while, still with that grim look, the Doctor tried to read Kyra's facial expression that seemed to be impatient to take action immediately.
"Well, if that's your decision. This action will not last long, only 30 minutes. But the effects of new drugs can disappear after 3 hours. So later you will be moved to another room as long as you are not aware. Is there someone accompanying you?"
Kyra nodded quickly. "Nothing, Doctor."
The doctor got up from his chair, the female officer approached Kyra and gave her the patient's shirt.
10 Minutes later, Kyra was already laying on a bed with a big lamp on her chest, her right hand was fitted with an infusion needle.
Before it all ended tonight, Kyra touched her stomach with mixed feelings. He did all this not because he did not love his fetus, precisely for his good in the future, Kyra had to give up her flesh and Bara fell in this way.
"A ready? Praying already?" ask the doctor when entering a room that is not how wide.
Kyra tried to pull both ends of her lips with all her might despite the nervousness that started to run her way.
"Already, Doctor," he said.
The doctor Kyra didn't know her name was smiling. He then grabbed a small syringe and approached the infusion tube in Kyra's hand.
"Rilex, yes. We're going to start the process now. When you wake up, I hope all your problems are solved." Doctors began injecting the anesthetic at the base of the infusion hose on Kyra's wrist slowly.
Along with the dope flowing in his vena, Kyra's heart ached for a while. A flash of Bara's smiling face suddenly flashed through Kyra's memory. Then it changed with his battered face that was staring at Kyra expectantly.
"I'm sorry, Bara."
Kyra held back her tears from dripping with all her might. He did not want the doctor to realize his crying and even canceled this abortion. However, Kyra was unable to hold it back, the push of tears was too strong so her cries broke before everything began to blacken and swirl. A loud buzzing sound made Kyra unable to open her eyes anymore. It felt like tens of tons of rice were resting on his eyelids. The drug's effects started to work.
