Chapters 19. The Kost Adelia

Sindy looked up at the clear, clear sky, nestled in a garden behind the restaurant. He felt a gentle breeze blow his hair.

"What's up, Daniel?" ask them as soon as they sit down.

"Sindy, I want to talk about the matchmaking arranged by our parents, just now" Daniel said.

"Yes, what's with the match?" ask Sindy.

"I have to be honest with you, Sindy. I can't accept that matchmaking" Daniel said in a serious tone.

"What's? Why?" ask Sindy in shock.

"Because I already have a boyfriend. Name's Adelia. We've been dating for a month" Daniel replied.

Sindy pretended to be surprised, even though she had actually learned this from her mother Daniel.

"Oh, I didn't know you had a boyfriend, Daniel. Sorry if I'm a bad question".

"Silence, Sindy. I-i understand. And I have to tell you, I can't do that matchmaking. I thought, you can't expect me to accept this match. We've been friends too long to force what can't happen" Daniel said.

Sindy nodded her head. She felt her heart was sad, but she also knew that Daniel was telling the truth. He could not get Daniel to accept the match.

"I understand, Daniel. Thank you for telling me honestly," Sindy said in a weak voice.

Daniel smiled. "No need to thank you, Sindy. We can still be friends as usual, right? And I hope you can find the right and happy partner".

Sindy smiled a little. "Yes, because that's what I expected too, Daniel".

"Don't know. Pecel the chicken next to the alley looks good." Adel nodded his head, his right index finger tapping on Daniel's desk.

The two sat on the floor, there was no dining table at Adel's residence. The room consists only of a bathroom, a kitchen joined by a pantry and a bedroom joined by a television room. It is narrow, because Adel lives alone.

Daniel walked to the sink to wash his hands, then walked to the bookshelf. He was looking for a book that looks new in packaging. The plastic was not opened at all. "You said it's a good story, but it hasn't been opened at all?"

"Read it in the blurb! Can't a book be seen clearly from the blurb? Behind the book, huh!" Adel walked to the sink, to wash his hands after downing his drink. Daniel also seems to be flipping the book.

"Can I open?" ask Daniel to make sure. He will tear the end of the book with one hand.

But instead of getting approval. Adel immediately ran like a marathon runner who was racing. He hit Daniel because he wanted to open the book. If the man opens, it is not he who feels buying the book but the boss who is his lover..

All Adel wanted was to open the packaging itself, not anyone else. No one else will be allowed to touch a new item that has not been opened if he or she does not open it himself. The girl immediately ran away, chasing the book in a package that is still intact to stay awake and not opened by her lover.

Daniel's intention was good, to open the book and read it, but he did not know if Adel only wanted to open it, not want the book.
