I'm Not My Boss' Storage
The Secret Big Boss

The BOS has returned from Germany. Get your headquarters!

Agni presses the Send button in the group chat after receiving news of her superior's return. Since Thursday, the boss has been allowed to fly to Germany to celebrate his son's birthday. The office can breathe a sigh of relief even if it lasts only two days.

Thanks to the pause, Agni freely went for a walk with Shia, then dated with Rano. There was no immediate message on Saturday or Sunday afternoon asking him to rearrange the meeting schedule.

Their boss, Dareen Isvara, is not the creepy boss type. It's just that he's very disciplined and punctual about the job. Agni was amazed by his work ethic even though sometimes his weekends were interrupted by trivial things.

“Copyu.” Rano handed over one cup of Agni's favorite coffee when they met in the office lobby. “Sorry I missed pick up. I have to take my nephew to school. His mother's car entered the workshop.”

“It’s okay, fortunately Uak Puput would like to borrow his motor today.” Agni had to check her hair and clothes. Must be a mess because speeding through the rat road to avoid traffic jams. “We are so, right, lunch together today?”

“Sure thing's. I reservation from yesterday night.” Both stopped in front of the elevator. Rano works on the third floor, while Agni is on the fourth floor. Only in these moments, including lunch and work, were they free to chat. “See you later noon.”

The short kiss that Rano left on Agni's cheek made her relax instantly. Thankfully there is coffee that can restore Agni's focus to work. But for a minute or two, he allowed himself to sink into that warm touch.

As expected, Dareen arrived at the office at half-nine. The man who just turned 40 years old asked Agni to send a recap of the meeting and the schedule of his activities this week. Before leaving her boss room, Agni was asked to book a VIP room at the restaurant that she would also go with Rano.

Not something strange. The restaurant was indeed a subscription for Dareen and employees in the office considering the close distance.

“There can I help you with again, sir?" ask Agni to make sure.

Dareen. For a moment, he seemed to want to ask Agni something, but quickly abandoned his intentions. “Continue your work. Don't forget to call Ulfa to my room.”

Ulfa, one of the employees who works in the marketing division, is quite familiar with Agni. Not too close to say friends, but they often exchange information related to work and gossip in the office.

“Called, tuh.” Agni approached the one-story Ulfa cubicle with her. “It looks like we want to discuss the strategy to create content in medsos.”

“Dikasih by-by not from Germany?” seloroh Ulfa while removing the charging cable from his tablet.

“She's going there for a family vacation, where to think of us.”

Returning to her room, Agni continued her delayed work. Rano's coffee was deliberately streamed to save her from drowsiness in the prone hours after lunch.

Not ten minutes, the phone's ringing. Call from front office. Agni throttled, there must be a receptionist who wanted to meet her boss but had not made an appointment before.

“Agni, anyone would like to meet Mr. Dareen,” Heni, the front officer, directly convey a message. “I told you to meet first, huh?”

“Who is the inventor Mr Dareen? New client?”

There was a long silence before Heni replied, “Her wife..”.

“Lah, right, you know his wife can be in and out at any time. Most ask first to me if Mr. Dareen again meeting or enggak.”

Silent again. “ Anyway I asked him to meet you first, yes.”

Bizarrely. Is the boss fighting with his wife? But as Agni recalled, Dareen rarely brought personal affairs to the office.

Forced, Agni kept the documents, then waited for the arrival of Dareen's wife. Through the glass wall, Agni waited for the figure to come from the direction of the elevator. However, all he saw was his co-worker, until his eyes were tethered to the hijab-wearing woman who was wobbly looking for something.

The woman looked at Agni, then smiled. Intrigued, Agni opened the door to inquire about the intent of her arrival. “Again, Mom, can I help you?”

“Again, Mbak. I'm looking for my husband's secretary.”

Agni. “Suy? Umh, husband mom works here?”

“Iya, his name is Dareen. CEO of this company,” said with sparkling eyes. “Oh yes, introduce, I'm Ingrid.”

Polite and friendly. Agni was impressed by the attitude of the woman. But—wife Dareen? The only Dareen Agni knew was her superior.

“What's my husband's secretary mother?” ask the woman, confused.

“Ya, I'm Agni.” They shake hands. “Shortly, yes, Mom. I contact Mr. Dareen first.”

Quickly, Agni walked into the room, then picked up the phone to contact Dareen's room.

“Who? Isn't my schedule empty until noon?”

“Iya, Sir. It—ini.” Agni's hand trembled. “My wife.”

“Tell me to go in my room, Agni. Usually so—" too"

“Father wife, Ingrid.”

No response from Dareen. Well, what if Inggrid gets lost? What if it was actually Dareen who he meant to work in an office near here? Agni was about to call Dareen, but her boss preceded her,

“Antar him to the restaurant, to the VIP room I booked earlier,” his door was half whispered. “Say I will follow.”

“But, Sir, the reservation is kan—”

“Agni, he can not enter my room,” cut Dareen. “If the restaurant asks for a charge, I will pay more to you. As long as you take him there. Now.”

After driving Ingrid to the restaurant, and apologizing for the change in reservation schedule, Agni hurriedly returned to the office. There, Heni and several employees, including Ulfa, huddled in the lobby. His waiting.

“Why are you here? Later Mr. Dareen can see berabe.”

“Pak Dareen go straight away as soon as you deliver a guest earlier.” Ulfa pulled him close to the front office desk. “Serious that was... his wife Mr Dareen? She divorced her previous wife?”

Agni. “Where do I know. Mr. Dareen also did not say he was his wife or not. I was just told to anter him to the restaurant.”

“Do not-do second wife.” Heni immediately distracted Agni and Ulfa. “You guys missed the gossip artist, huh? Again, the age has a simple everywhere. Keep on having kids anyway, wow, wow.”.

Agni's phone clinks. One message came in from Dareen.

Before lunch, you and Heni meet me in the room.

Agni growled in annoyance. That means, his lunch plan with Rano threatened to fail.

Ingrid's arrival that day instantly spread to the various divisions. Rumors sounded from every angle. Who is that girl? Is he really Dareen's legal wife or a mistress who's planning a collision? Agni and Heni, who were now trapped in the boss' room, both guessed in silence.

Whatever Dareen wants to ask or convey is worth the disappointment of Agni who was forced to postpone her date with Rano.

“Sorry long wait.” Dareen, who had since returned home from the restaurant looked agitated, sat in her chair. “I asked you guys here to.. do something.”.

Agni and Heni exchanged lyrics.

“Inggrid,” Dareen took a deep breath, “Inggrid is... Ingrid is indeed my wife. Second wife. He just moved from Malang to Bandung to accompany me stay here.”

This news will surely shake everyone in group chat.

“My wife in Jakarta knows nothing,” Dareen takes a break. His eyes moved to and fro, as if afraid that someone would hear the conversation. “I know personal affairs should not be taken to the office. But—but for this time only I ask you to hide it.”

“Pak, the problem is that people in the office have seen Bu Ingrid,” Agni said.

“I mean, from my first wife, Tanisha.” It was obvious that Dareen was confused. “With Inggrid settled in Bandung, he would often stop by here. You also know how Tanisha sometimes comes suddenly without telling me. I'm anxious.. they will meet.”.

Personally, Agni and Heni were both upset and disappointed. Which woman wants to be killed without permission? Unfortunately, their position here is only an employee. Dareen Subordinate. They have no right to interfere in the superior household.

With a heavy heart, Agni and Heni agreed. The two walked out of the room, then parted ways to get back to work. At Agni's doorstep, Rano waited. The man was carrying a bag containing lunch that he had bought from the restaurant.

“Eat together, yuk. I asked for take away earlier.” Rano arranged the food on the table. “Let your mood not be bad all day.”

Agni sat down, then unceremoniously grabbed Rano. Hopefully when they get married and build a household will not be faced with reality as Dareen did to his family.
