Lynn just got off the motorcycle, ran as fast as she could into the company. Everyone was busy walking here, some were carrying coffee, some were busy with various kinds of documents.
Lynn hops left and right looking for something, she doesn't know where she's hired.
"Hey... Are you the new employee here?" A woman looked at Lynn from head to toe.
"New employees are told to gather first in the room there." The woman pointed to the room where there were so many people.
Lynn followed the direction of the woman's finger, smiling happily. Lynn looked to the side to say thank you but the woman had already walked away.
"Receive-" Lynn walked up to the room, pushed the door and slipped slowly.
There were only 20 people in the room that didn't even count on Lynn herself, and there were 5 people standing on stage.
Lynn breathed a sigh of relief, suddenly someone patted her on the shoulder making herself shocked half to death. Lynn glanced back to ascertain who that person was, Lynn breathed a sigh of relief as her gaze met Mina's gaze.
"Eve, you just came?" Whisper Mina, watching her surroundings.
"Min, I think you've caught Yasmin's disease, you like to startle people." Whisper Lynn, as Mina's face turns into dislike.
"Yes"
"Okay everyone, here are some assistants who will take you to the place where your department is." A man with thick glasses pointed to his left side, where there were four assistants both women and men with each department.
The person standing in front started calling out the names of everyone who was there to their respective departments.
Mina waved her hand, she had to leave the room because now they had to move to work. Every single assistant that advanced was getting less and less people in the room.
Now that everyone was gone leaving only Lynn alone, Lynn who was left alone did not know had to look at the man with thick glasses.
"Oh... It turns out everyone's gone." The man got up from his seat walking out.
"Am I invisible?" Mumbled Lynn blinked her two eyes confused.
The bespectacled man entered the room again, took the documents on the table and made eye contact with Lynn.
"Oh... There are still people." The man muttered, fixing his thick glasses.
"Miss Cornelius, please follow me." The man said after flipping through some sheets of paper
Lynn followed the man, Lynn's eyes kept turning looking left and right, they both stopped in front of the elevator door that was still closed.
"Why is there only one button here?" Lynn murmured in her heart.
As the elevator doors opened, Lynn followed the man into a room where everyone was busy with a computer screen in front of them.
The glasses guy stopped in front of the door, knocking for a moment, Lynn felt very tense.
Tok...
"Lake in."
Lynn could hear the baritone coming from behind the door filling her eardrum, the voice filled with charisma and authority.
"Let's go in." The glasses guy gave Lynn a code that stopped in front of the door, not daring to step in.
Lynn took a slow step in, watching the surroundings of the room filled with appreciation and in front of her was a glass revealing another tall building.
"Director, I'm here to deliver your new secretary." Said the glasses guy.
Lynn's eyes turned in disbelief, staring at the bespectacled man who was bowing respectfully. The chair is still facing the window.
"I never signed up for the secretary section!." Lynn cried out in her heart, but her face was still smiling as usual.
There was no answer at all from the person sitting in the swivel seat, Lynn tilted her head to peek a little.
"Hey..." The man pulled the end of Lynn's shirt, Lynn bowed respectfully.
The chair was twisted, a man of formal style noticed Lynn and bowed respectfully, the man placed his right foot on his left foot.
"Are you not going to introduce yourself?"
"Kok, his voice is familiar. But whose voice?" Lynn asked in her heart, confused.
"My name is Evelynn Cornelius!." Firmly Lynn raised her head and smiled kindly.
Lynn and the man's faces turned strange after the two of them made eye contact.
"Well, Brother Alfred?" Lynn raised one of her eyebrows, her hand pointing at Alfred.
