Hearing the sound, Lynn automatically opened her eyes. Nothing happened just a seatbelt wrapped around her body, Lynn cupped her face.

"What did you just think!" Lynn cried out in silence, she did not know that the ear tips were reddened.

Lynn sat down sweetly while glancing out the window hoping that Alfred would not notice her thoughts. The car drove away from the bar where Lynn was working while the man walked out of hiding.

"I don't want to risk just for this money, my life is worth more." Said the man took out a brown envelope from his pocket while staring at Alfred's car away in the darkness of the night and the money alternately.

Alfred's car stopped in front of Lynn Apartment, Alfred glanced at his front rearview mirror that reflected Lynn's shadow. Lynn's eyes were tightly closed and her fist leaned against the car door.

Alfred unbuckled his seatbelt, got out of the car around the street watching the location around Lynn Apartment. Alfred put his hand in his pants pocket while breathing the cold night air.

Noticing the star-studded night sky, Alfred turned his head to glance at his car.

Alfred opened the car door sitting next to Lynn, using his left hand to support his handsome face. Alfred's eyeballs scanned every corner of Lynn's face as if she had no weight at all.

The bangs of sideways hair covered her forehead, a pointed nose, chubby cheeks and small red lips clenched all of it added its own charm in Lynn's face.

This was the first time Alfred noticed Lynn's face so thoroughly and seriously, all this time he had always been indifferent no matter to anyone.

"Emm..." Lynn turned her body in a comfortable position.

Alfred watched from beside each change in Lynn's facial expression, Alfred's eyes noticed Lynn's bangs down covering her face. Alfred's hand felt uncomfortable, he was eager to get rid of Lynn's bangs.

Alfred pulled out his hand about to touch Lynn's hair, but the ringing sound of Lynn's phone made him reflexively pull his hand back to his original position.

"Ehem... " Alfred cleared his throat, turning his face elsewhere.

"Thank you." Say Lynn and walk back to the apartment.

"Dad... What's going on with me?" Alfred rubbed his face, but Lynn only smiled faintly but why was his heart beating so fast?
