"Lynn? Why is that girl here?" I muttered softly, staring at the direction where Lynn was serving Keanu's request with her signature smile.
"What do you see?" Aaron patted me on the shoulder, looking in the direction where my eyes were.
"Oh... That girl's. Are you interested in him?" Ask Aaron to me.
I don't know how my face looks so much that Aaron chuckles like it's funny.
"Hehe... Thank goodness." Aaron said with gratitude.
"Why are you grateful? Are you interested in him?" I laughed coldly, shaking the glass with champagne in my right hand.
"It's not me but Keanu. Didn't you see from earlier he kept teasing the girl?" Aaron shook his head smiling faintly.
I didn't answer Aaron's question, glancing at Lynn. It could be seen that Keanu continued to throw his sweet temptation but Lynn did not respond too much just smiled faintly.
The look in my eyes accidentally met with Lynn's eyes, Lynn averted her eyes as quickly as possible to choose to look elsewhere.
Now I know what causes Lynn to look less focused on work, falling asleep during the break.
I took a sip of champagne one sip, the champagne that passed through the perch felt very unpleasant, like swallowing a fireball when the champagne was full of ice cubes.
I got up from my seat walking towards Keanu and Lynn, Keanu looked at me confused because I was sitting next to him staring at Lynn.
"Hey... Alfred what are you doing here?" Keanu asked, his face full of aggravation.
I did not reply, staring at the name take that read Lily's name, changing to Lynn's face. I could see that Lynn was tense as well as nervous.
"I think we need to talk to a little girl." I said sipping champagne like I was drinking water.
I could feel a strange look from Keanu, but I didn't care at all.
"alright. Sister Rika can you replace me for a moment here?"
The look in my eyes followed the wave of Lynn's hand on a woman with deep red hair and pale white skin. His appearance reminded me of Lidya when we first met.
Hearing the reply of the woman named Rika, I got up from my seat walking out followed by Lynn in the back.
I stopped at a quiet place where people were passing by, I stared at Lynn from above due to the distant height difference.
"Why didn't I ever know that Secretary Lynn worked in a bar?" I looked at Lynn coldly.
"Isn't the written covenant written that we should not interfere in each other's affairs?"
"Now you accuse me of breaking the covenant?" I stared at Lynn sharply.
"I never said you broke the agreement."
The look in Lynn's eyes on me turned sharp, it seemed like she was still grudging with me.
"Are you mad at me for what Lidya said?" I could see a small frown on Lynn's forehead.
"Why am I angry? I am nothing to you and you are nothing to me. So there's no reason for me to be mad at you."
Lynn stared right at me, this was the first time I looked straight into her eyes. Now that I realized that the color of his eyes was not black but brownish black, his eyes made me drown in a strange charm.
"If there's nothing else you want to say, excuse me first."
I stared at Lynn's small back walking away, she didn't even look back. I leaned my back against the wall, rubbed my hair up so as not to cover my forehead.
What Lynn said earlier was the fact, I had no right to interfere in her affairs. I took a deep breath walking into the bar, sitting back where I was.
"One more champagne glass." I called the barista in front
I raised the glass and shook the glass slowly glancing at where Lynn was standing.
"Damn it..." My meaning raised the glass and drank it straight for a mouthful.
