Chapter 40's

"Don't..please..let me go...!" Karina was delirious in her deep sleep, cold sweat soaking all over her face. Her tears also fell between her eyes. Derian who was still asleep by hugging Karina's body jolted awake to hear Karina's voice and body movements.

"Darling..are you okay?"derian asked anxiously patting - Karina's cheeks repeatedly tried to wake him up, but Derian gasped to feel warm, not warm, but hot on Karina's cheek. Then Derian placed the back of his hand on Karina's forehead and gasped to feel the stinging heat and saw the sweat drenching Karina's forehead.

Derian immediately woke up taking water and a towel to compress Karina's forehead. Karina shivers in her heart make Derian more injured, lying in the blanket to hold Karina's body to provide comfort and as if trying to move Karina's pain to move to him.

The phone that rang loudly did not make Derian flinch from his embrace on Karina's body. Derian tried to give Karina the warmth of skin to skin. A faint echo continued to sound in Derian's ears, not knowing what Karina was delirious about.

More than two hours of Derian clutching Karina's body since Karina shivered at 3 this morning. Derian opened his eyes slowly palpating Karina's forehead which had started to warm normally not as hot as earlier. Karina's sweat-soaked clothes were slowly replaced by Derian hoping not to wake her. But slowly Karina opened her eyes.

"Water..water.."whisper Karina smirked.

"Would you like a drink?"Derian propped Karina's head up to help drink it.

Karina fell asleep again.

Derian grabbed his phone, contacting Noah who had contacted him since.

Reno sat down daydreaming in her office workspace, her thoughts still filled about Karina's pregnancy which made her not sure if Irene's son was her biological son.

Tok tok tok tok

The sound of the door being knocked from outside.

"Lake in!"reno's orders dispose of his thoughts first.

His secretary came in close to Reno, whispering something into Reno's ear.

"really?You sure?"Reno stood up from her chair.

"It's mister!"said the secretary handed her the cell phone that Reno had received.

Reno watched the video from the beginning to the end, making her jaw hard, her hands clenched and her eyes coldly wanting to kill.

"Then?"

"Lord Derian's side has closed the video but of course there are still some who are missed even though there are not many like at that time" the secretary explained.

"Where is Karina now?"reno asked worriedly and started to calm down a bit with his secretary's explanation.

"The last information was obtained, after the incident, Mr. Derian carried Miss Karina's body into his apartment which was also in the building,"

"Is he okay. She just recovered and just got back from the hospital?"reno asked softly, sounding like a mumble but still sounding his secretary.

"After entering his apartment no one saw a doctor enter and not even his secretary was seen coming in!"obviously secretary.

Reno bowed at his desk, his heart ached unable to do anything for his ex-wife who he still loved, as long as he was his wife, Karina never complained or troubled him, it was even she who always got more attention from Karina even though Karina was also busy with her work as a Kindergarten teacher. Reno let out a long sigh regretting all her previous actions while being Karina's husband who was still less happy.

Reno is already seen queuing in front of an obstetric hospital room. After thinking long with regret, two hours later Reno decided to go to the hospital to check on her fertility specialist.

After waiting for almost an hour, it was his turn to be called. Reno entered with a nervous and anxious feeling.

"Good day sir?"the greeting doctor smiled warmly after Reno sat in front of him blocked the check table.

"Hang,"why Reno hesitated.

"Can you help sir?"

"I want to check my fertility." replied Reno hesitatingly a little embarrassed.

"Oh, of course, we do a physical examination first, please!" the doctor said he was lying on the bed of the patient in the room, examining Reno's body carefully. Also check blood, sugar and tension levels.

After the doctor checked, Reno went to the lab room where she checked for blood.

After nearly half an hour of blood work, Reno was back in line to see the gynecologist.

"The results will come out in 2 x 24 hours, we will call if the results come out," explained the doctor smiling kindly.

"But there's nothing with my body, right doc?"worried Reno asked.

"Physically seen the examination was healthy, strong also no problem everything, we will know the details later if the lab examination came out," explained the doctor was friendly.

"Thank you doctor." said Reno with eyes full of regret and disappointment must not come out the results.

Karina opened her eyes slowly, staring around the room. Recognized rooms Derian apartment rooms. Karina tried to wake up from her sleep even though her head was a little throbbing but her stomach thrashed hunger to be filled, although her appetite was lost but now Karina realized there were still other creatures in her stomach that also wanted to live.

"Miss is conscious?"the voice of the middle-aged woman he recognized entered his room carrying food to serve Karina.

"Auntie?" said Karina was surprised to see PRT at Derian's house is here.

"Ah, yes miss, I was asked by you to accompany the lady, as long as you work, you can not bear to leave the lady alone here." explained the PRT who turned out to be named bi Ani.

"Is that so?"Karina was about to get up but her head was throbbing, she held her head wanting to get up...

"Miss is okay? It's better miss rest, master told her not to let miss wake up from her sleep," explained bi Ani a little anxious.

"I want to go to the toilet for a while bi" said Karina softly.

"Let me help non?"pinta bi Ani, Karina just nodded her ass and swept bi Ani to the toilet.

Bi Ani's phone rang a call from her master.

"Yes sir?"

"..."

"Miss is up, she's on the toilet. Miss is out, sir want to talk?"said bi Ani saw Karina coming out of the bathroom.

"..." bi Ani hands over her phone to Karina, though hesitant Karina receives bi Ani's phone and receives Derian's call.

"Yes," replied Karina still sounding weak, while staring at bi Ani who prepared food at the table near the sofa beside the bed. Karina was already sitting on the sofa with Bi Ani.

"..."

"Yes.ini bi Ani is preparing it,"

"..."

"Yes." Yeah."

"..."

"Continue work! Don't worry about me, I'll be fine with bi Ani."

"..."

"All right."

Karina hung up her phone, handed the phone to bi Ani.

"Can you please get my phone on the nightstand, bi?"pinta Karina still sounded weak.

"Sure miss!" bi Ani takes Karina's phone and hands it to Karina.

"Eat first, miss, sir said that since last night, miss didn't eat anything."

"Yes, thank you."

Karina starts to take her food despite her tastelessness, Karina insists on eating for the sake of her fetus.

Karina's phone clinks sign of a message coming in. Karina read the message. Karina did not believe what she was reading.
