IT'S MY DEVIAN
A SURPRISE FOR DEVIAN

Today is Devian's birthday, Karin's last time fighting. After a visit to Angel's house, Karin's feelings were slightly treated. And the rest of the day, Karin only accompanied Devian in the office even though he was ignored.

Since morning Karin has been busy ordering restaurants, cakes, and some other surprises. It was fortunate that Devian had already left first, so Karin was more free to do everything.

Karin will celebrate in two places. First in the Devian family mansion, second in the restaurant.

But Karin will be waiting at the restaurant! Celebrations at the family mansion to believe Devian's feelings. If Devian reciprocated his feelings, Devian would catch up to the restaurant through the address later given by their waiter.

What if Devian doesn't come to the restaurant?

Karin needs to know herself! He will stay away because the answer is obvious. Devian did not catch up to the restaurant meaning Devian could not open his heart to her.

And Karin's struggle all this time was in vain.

By late afternoon it was time for Karin to head to the restaurant. However, before leaving Karin again checked the Devian's favorite food in the cooking, the order cake is also a simple decoration.

Devian's steps came to a halt when he entered the living room. The waiter at his family's mansion stood carrying a tart complete with a lighted candle on it. Too much Devian thought made him forget that today was his birthday.

" Happy birthday young master! May you always be given happiness." They bowed respectfully after the tart moved into Devian's hands.

" Thank you very much." Bead eyes as sharp as a hawk engrossed in seeing a candle burning, still did not expect to get a surprise like this. He hadn't celebrated his birthday in a long time.

A simple surprise that touched my heart, he thought!

" Thank you, Miss Karin! Miss Karin has been busy preparing this surprise since morning." Devian nodded.

" Where is Miss Karin?" ask Juna's secretary.

Karin's confidante, gives a letter to Juna's secretary remembering Devian is holding a tart.

A short letter from Karin.

Devian again saw a video that kept repeating on the projector screen.

" Juna we're going there!" secretary Juna smiled faintly.

One thing to know! Devian always asked Juna's secretary for his opinion on Karin's behavior.

" At exactly 10 p.m., Mr. Teo was pronounced dead."

" Papa." Devian's voice choked up to Papa Teo who was covered in a white blanket.

" Wake up pa! Forgive Devian. Devian's too selfish." Secretary Juna's eyes glazed over.

Devian held back his cries. With trembling hands Devian partially opened the white blanket, "Let Devian hug papa one last time." A drop of Devian's tears seeped out.

As powerful as Devian held back his tears, still in a choked voice he allowed the doctor to take care of something unfinished before he brought Papa Teo to the funeral.

Devian punched the hospital wall before going to the back garden.

While waiting for Juna's secretary to take care of the administration, Devian pensively recalled the memories with his father.

Devian thought Papa Teo didn't love him since he was transferred abroad. Devian doesn't know, papa Teo is just as depressed about living life with a bastard.
