IT'S MY DEVIAN
Preeclampsia

The night is getting late, the wind is blowing strongly indicating there will be rain in a moment. The weather outside was very cold, but in the middle of the cold there was warmth between a couple.

Devian appeared to be sound asleep accompanied by a faint smile. Karin who woke up because her cravings did not have the heart to disturb her husband. Already entering 3 months of pregnancy and 4 months of the disease will definitely be seen.

" I love u my husband." After slowly tucking in Devian's forehead, Karin moved slowly out of the room.

The only thing he does is make toast. While Karin was busy baking, Devian was also distracted from sleeping when she felt the side of Karin's bed feeling cold.

" My sunshine?" Devian rubbed his eyes.

" Dear" a noise from the kitchen led Devian.

The nice aroma of the kitchen convinced Devian that his beloved wife was there. Devian also approached the origin of the scent to find someone who was looking for was turning his back.

" What are you doing?"

" Dress!" karin replied annoyed. Come on, he's hungry, don't ask him something that can clearly be seen.

" Without dressing up my sunshine I'll still be beautiful." Karin cleared her throat slowly appreciating Devian's deadly seduction.

" Dear! Why don't you tell me, anyway!?" Devian followed Karin who looked impatiently devouring the toast.

" I'm lazy." replied Karin origin." Don't talk! I want to enjoy this!"

Finally Devian just stared at Karin enjoying the toast. Not want to disturb the mood of his wife who is sometimes sensitive.

" Uhh! His delight!" Devian smiled at his wife's adorable behavior.

" I know I'm so pretty! So, don't stare like that, sir." Look! Karin's mood returned well after the meal. She even teased the husband she had just ignored.

" Look at baby! Mommy you turned flirty!" Tau mood Karin is good, Devian took advantage of the opportunity well. He alternately kissed Karin's stomach and lips.

"Dev---, Shhh!" Karin grimaced softly, feeling a tremendous pain in her upper abdomen.

Seeing that, Devian panicked. " Why, baby? Let's go to the hospital now!" Devian was about to lift Karin.

" I'm fine." I said fine, but Karin's actions were different. His hand gripped Devian's arm tightly, trying to ease her pain.

" My sunshine, tell me what's going on?" Didn't Karin understand Devian was so panicked. He was even confused about having to obey his wife's words or his decision.

" I'll take you to the hospital!" break up Devian firmly.

" No need."

" What's not necessary, Karin! You're in pain like that! Stop pretending you're okay. I'm worried about you!" Devian was about to hold Karin, but the rejection of the encouragement Devian got.

" What do you want? At least if you're okay, let me take you to check on my son! Or do you intend to kill your own child, in this way!" Devian could not control his words. He was angry, panicked, and afraid to see his woman in pain but acting fine.

Karin was sad to hear Devian's words.

 He did not think of killing the expected child!

He just didn't want this disease to be known!

" We're going to the hospital now! Don't argue with me my sunshine!" Forced Karin resigned to follow Devian's will is very stubborn.

Karin knew the lie would sooner or later be exposed. Devian will know the disease. And maybe it's time!

In the course of the hospital, the pain is growing. Karin's cold hand increasingly grasped Devian's warm hand.

Devian could not bear to see his wife in pain, he continued to rub his wife's stomach trying to negotiate with his son to reduce his woman's pain.

Arriving at the hospital yard, Karin who was not strong in pain eventually fell unconscious." My sunshine!" Devian tried to contain his madness. Simply the departure of his two parents made him feel this feeling of fear.

Not the woman anymore! The sunshine!

" How's my woman's condition?" several times Devian asked every one of the nurses out of the room where his wife was being handled.

" ye! Tell me quickly, how is my wife!" snapped Devian.

Devian loves Karin so much! He always tried to provide comfort and security so that Karin would stay by his side. And this unexpected incident, really made Devian crazy!

How's his son doing?

Why can women be in such pain?

Will the woman and her child be okay?

The question kept ringing in his head.

" Mister Devian." call the doctor who handled the woman.

" How are our wives and children doing, doc?" Devian asked softly as he stared at the door of his wife's room.

" Mistress Karin has improved even though she has not yet regained consciousness. His blood pressure is quite high, which is an early symptom of preeclampsia. In addition, swelling in the legs also serves as a diagnostic booster that Ms. Karin suffered from preeclampsia." explained the doctor who handled Karin.

Heard the obstetrician's explanation in front of him. Devian's speechless!

" Sa-ya doesn't even realize her legs are swelling up." - Devian felt like she failed to be a husband and father-to-be on standby.

" I'm sorry sir! I think Mrs Karin, had been aware from the beginning if she was exposed to preeclampsia. Because, in the examination there are several compositions of drugs that are useful for lowering blood pressure."

Devian was stunned to hear it.

the woman had known about the disease before. But Karin didn't tell him anything! Devian felt slapped. He felt he did not know the sunshine.

Why is Karin hiding that?

How many secrets does the woman have?

Not enough proof of his love? not sure about it, Karin with him? Or was Karin afraid that if he told this truth, Devian would leave him?

Devian no longer focused on hearing the doctor's explanation. For now, he was overcoming the excessive fear of hearing Karin's condition.

That stiff body, could only stand in front of the wife lying helplessly before him.

Just last night his wife was spoiled and shared a laugh, now her woman is lying with a body filled with medical devices. Her beautiful female eyes as well as Karin's shady gaze were tightly shut.

" why are you hiding this? please share your complaints with me! Don't save and act like you're okay." Devian sat holding his woman's warm hand, and shed all his sorrow, fear, and disappointment.

Devian was so scared of losing his sunshine!

" Can you promise, don't leave me? please don't leave me, sunshine." Devian's cries finally broke.

Amidst the dripping tears, a hand rubbed his tears slowly. Slowly Devian looked at the beautiful eyes of his woman open.

" Don't cry! Isn't my husband so tough?" Karin smiled slowly. " We'll be fine."

Devian stared at the woman's retina. The woman who used to act sucks, the woman who used to act like she wanted to.

I don't know why Devian would have wanted Karin to behave like that! Compared to the attitude of Now, who always put his happiness first.

Ultimately blaming themselves for each of them is the current solution. Devian blames her desire to have children, while Karin blames her for feeling imperfect.
