Part 18 - Think it never happened
"Are you pregnant with Jenn?" the whisper of Arjuna felt like lightning striking in broad daylight.
Jenny doesn't know what to say anymore? But clearly her heart really did not want Arjuna to know that she was pregnant.
"Jenn's Wag." Arjuna pressed his distance with Jenny, until Jenny's heart seemed to break.
"It's none of your business." It's just the word that comes out of Jenny's lips, without looking at Arjuna.
While Jenny's hand is busy taking some money to pay for her groceries, Jenny does not realize that Arjuna has already thrust a debit card to the cashier to pay for all Jenny's groceries.
Why does Arjuna's sense of responsibility and care show up here?
Maybe she's still haunted by guilt, after what happened with Jenny in her apartment.
"Sorry Mba, all Mba's groceries have been paid for by Mba's husband" the superintendent told Jenny when she was about to make the money.
The cashier thinks that Arjuna is Jenny's husband, and Clarisa is their daughter.
Jenny sighed deeply, Arjuna shouldn't have behaved this way towards her.
After lifting the not too much groceries, Jenny grabbed Arjuna's palm, then put her money in Arjuna's hand.
"I'm sincere Jenn." said Arjuna who tried to return Jenny's money again, but Jenny did not press him.
Jenny rushes out of the supermarket leaving Arjuna and Clarisa. Arjuna does not want to lose track of Jenny again, he immediately followed Jenny's steps after seeing Clarisa who is still busy choosing the ice cream.
"Jenny please answer my question." Arjuna pulls back Jenny's arm so she can't get away from him again.
Jenny closed her eyes, then sighed to find the right reason for Arjuna to no longer chase after her.
"Mr Arjuna needs to know that the man I slept with was not just you." Arjuna did not understand Jenny's words just now.
Is it possible that Jenny is one of the women who keeps herself in the nightclub?
But if so, why did Jenny not demand a dollar on Arjuna that night?
Jenny always shies away from Arjuna.
"Are you serious about what you said, Jenn?" ask Arjuna again trying to be sure.
Jenny nodded her head steadily.
"Don't bother me anymore, I'm married. Even if I am pregnant, it is the seed of my husband. About that night just assume it never happened." jenny firmly in front of Arjuna.
Deggg!
jenny's statement just directly pierced Arjuna's heart, making Arjuna even more regret his actions.
What if Arjuna is positioned as Jenny's husband?
He will also be angry and disappointed. But, everything happens beyond Arjuna's control.
Seeing Arjuna still silently sculpting, Jenny immediately went from Arjuna's sight. Hope Arjuna won't come after her again.
Arjuna who realizes Jenny's departure re-enters the supermarket, he searches for his daughter who is also looking for Arjuna.
"Where is the wean?" clarisa's whine from earlier lost track of his papih.
"Sorry dear, Papih had some business." Arjuna stroked Clarisa's head full of affection.
"The same ante balbie?" guess Clarisa.
Arjuna just nodded his head slowly, with a sweet smile on his lips.
"Let's ante balbie play at home huh Pih."
Clarisa asks Jenny to play at home.
Clarisa's words just now felt very piercing Arjuna's ear. Clarisa is expecting Jenny at home, while Jenny says she has a husband.
It feels impossible for Jenny to see Clarisa back, let alone at Arjuna's house.
"Clarisa baby isn't the same Papih?" tanya Arjuna tries to give understanding to her daughter, because Arjuna knows that her daughter is quite stubborn if she wants something.
"Darling Pih." said Clarisa with the beards in front of Arjuna, while stroking Arjuna's shoulders who were still crouching in front of Clarisa.
"If dear Dengerin Papih yes, aunt Barbie already have. So, he couldn't just go play with Clarisa. Just like Clarisa who already belongs to Papih, can not go away at will to leave Papih."
Clarisa did not want to hear Arjuna's words, visible from the look of her face that was bent with lips that were woven.
"But Papih doesn't stop Clalisa from playing with anyone." sued Clarisa.
This boy was too critical to be lied to, until Arjuna chuckled himself at his daughter's protest.
"Hmmm, mending now we pay for the ice cream first, keep us home dear. It's night, it's bobo's little princess."
Arjuna tries to divert his conversation with Clarisa, so that Clarisa does not ask any further questions about Jenny. Even though Arjuna still wants to meet Jenny.
Not only Clarisa, half-hearted Arjuna felt countless disappointments after hearing Jenny's statement claiming to be married.
