Part 46 - Application

The wind tonight feels so cold and peaceful. A handsome man standing at the door of Jenny's parents' house. The man looked handsome wearing a golden brown long-sleeved batik shirt.

Arjuna came to visit Jenny's hometown in Purwakarta, certainly not just an ordinary visit. Arjuna comes to Linda's house along with Verlita. As promised to Jenny, Arjuna will come to propose to Jenny tonight. 

Arjuna's arrival is warmly welcomed by Linda, while Jenny still hasn't shown herself to meet Arjuna as well as Verlita.

"Jenny where's Linda's mom?"

Verlita asked Linda who missed her future daughter-in-law. Actually Verlita is more curious about Jenny's son, it is very desirable Verlita met directly with her second grandson.

"Jenny's still getting ready in her room, just a woman."

Linda's reply just made Verlita and Arjuna chuckle. They sat on the living room couch, still waiting for Jenny's presence.

The proposal show between Jenny and Arjuna is not as luxurious as you might think. Jenny asks Arjuna not to hold luxury events like some upper class people. Jenny just asking for Arjuna's presence with Verlita is enough.

Arjuna deliberately did not bring Clarisa before the application was completed, so later Clarisa followed with Ivan. Arjuna did not want his special moment to be interrupted by his krucil team.

"Pa pa pa."

Arjuna's ears were familiar with the call, he immediately got up from the sofa. Sure enough Arjuna guesses, Cleo came up with her adorable little footsteps. Zalesya followed Cleo in the back, making sure where the little boy was going, so as not to ruin his mother's proposal.

"Pa pa pa, Leo angen."

Cleo said again after being in Arjuna's arms. While Verlita just smiled happily mixed with the feeling of seeing her son who already has a small hero. It feels complete already happiness Arjuna is blessed with a pair of girls and boys.

"It's omah dear."

Verlita rubbed Cleo's head crest full of affection. This was Verlita's first meeting with Cleo.

"Mah, omah."

Cleo mentioned the word over and over again while nodding her head.

"Dear Cleo, this is omah."

Verlita thrust her hand in front of Cleo, intending to invite her granddaughter, but the little boy instead hid his face in the chest of Arjuna's field.

"He doesn't want to be the same. Mama looks a little creepy."

Said Arjuna, slightly mocking his mama.

"The same father together nyebelin."

Verlita was slightly sulking, while Arjuna just laughed freely in front of his mother and also his future father-in-law. Arjuna felt no more awkward towards Linda. Then they resumed small talk while waiting for Jenny's arrival.

"Sette Jenny already looks beautiful to the maximum."

Praise Zalesya who just entered Jenny's room. After Cleo was in Arjuna's lap, Zalesya went back inside to meet Jenny.

"I'm nervous Za."

Jenny's heart beats erratically since Jenny finds out that Arjuna has arrived.

"Why tea?, is this not the first moment to be proposed. Why are you still nervous?"

Zalesya was right this was not the first, but somehow Jenny felt an immeasurable pounding. Though the application event this time is not as luxurious as when Frans proposed to Jenny first, attended by hundreds of invited guests.

"I don't know Za, which I'm obviously nervous about facing Arjuna. Is it possible that I'm a widow to be in a crisis of confidence?"

Jenny bowed after saying her question to Zalesya.

"Have tea, don't think like that. The happy question is not knowing a girl or a widow, everything is worth choosing the best. Only a lay view always looks down on a widow."

Zalesya hugged his cousin's sister's shoulder, trying to strengthen.

"Look at the mirror, Zenny was beautiful. Aa Arjuna is also very handsome, he is waiting for you at the bottom."

What Zalesya said is true, Jenny looks very gracefully charming by wearing a blend of short-sleeved burkat kebaya golden brown, in line with the batik that Arjuna wears. The batik skirt is exactly with the batik motif used by Arjuna because Arjuna has chosen a costume for tonight. The man was like there was no end to the matter of fashion, always paying attention to the details of the clothes that would be used by Jenny.

Jenny pulled Zalesya's arm to accompany her down to the living room, at least there was Zalesya beside Jenny slightly reducing the nervousness she felt.

"Ma ma ma."

Shouted Cleo after seeing Jenny who had just arrived in the living room.

Arjuna was amazed to see Jenny's beauty who wore a kebaya alloy that had been chosen by her, Jenny's hair was carried simple with a rose-shaped hairpin as a sweetener konde bunnya. Arjuna's mouth is still gaping to enjoy the beauty of Jenny.

Cleo chose to get down from Arjuna's lap, her little legs a little difficult to run towards Jenny who was still standing at the middle room door.

"Jagoan mama."

Jenny grabs Cleo's stocky body into her arms for a moment, then Zalesya takes over Cleo from Jenny's sling. Zalesya did not want his nephew to interfere with his mama and papa moments.

"Now that Jenny's here, we're just starting Jenn's."

Verlita starts her application after Jenny sits next to Linda.

"Yes, um."

Jenny nodded. What a very simple application event according to Jenny, there are only four of them. No fancy parties, no invited guests, but that's okay for Jenny. Actually getting married is about his happiness after living together, not about his party.

"Jenn, you came all the way from Jakarta here just to ask your mother for her blessing. Surely Linda's mother already knew what we were coming here for."

Linda nodded and smiled in front of Verlita.

"How's Linda's mom?"

Verlita confirmed her point.

"If I personally trust Jenny Bu Verlita completely, because this is Jenny's household, of course Jenny will live it and Jenny will decide. My only hope is one mom, lest Jenny's second marriage fail again. I don't want it to happen again."

Verlita understood what Linda said. She is also a mother of course has the same expectations as Linda.

"Thank God if Linda's opinion is so, it means we can continue our good intentions."

Now it's Arjuna's turn to ask Jenny directly after getting permission from Jenny's mother. Arjuna took out a small navy box, then opened the box which contained a densely shiny black pearl ring, even Jenny was very surprised to see it. Although the ring model is very elegant, Jenny can make sure that Arjuna buys it at a fantastic price.

"Jenny..."

Call Arjuna in a soft tone, after his position is on the floor, just below Jenny's knee. Arjuna grabbed Jenny's fingers, grasping them gently.

"Before I wanted to apologize to you Jenn, yesterday I had forced you a little to speed up this moment. All that I did because I was serious with you, I didn't want to let you linger alone, I didn't want the opportunity I had now to be taken by another man. I choose you today for the long life of tomorrow, the day that only death picks up, only death can take away our love."

Arjuna's gaze was so fixed, the look in his eyes was full of confidence and it succeeded in making Jenny's heart pound more erratically. The woman was unable to say any words in front of Arjuna, her tongue was confused to see the seriousness of Arjuna confessing his love intentions witnessed by Linda and Verlita.

"Marry me Jenny Florencia."

Arjuna whispered right in Jenny's ear, ignoring Linda and Verlita.

Whisper Arjuna so intimate and sensual in Jenny's ears. No woman can resist the charm of Arjuna.

Jenny did not answer Arjuna's whisper, she simply thrust her ring finger in front of Arjuna hinting at the order to pin the ring that Arjuna was carrying.

"Help me wear Arjuna's ring."

Jenny confirmed her decision while staring fixedly at Arjuna.

Arjuna's heart was very happy to hear Jenny's statement, then the ring was successfully pinned on Jenny's ring finger. Then Arjuna grabs Jenny's hand, kissing the back of Jenny's hand full of feelings of deep love.

Arjuna still clasped Jenny's fingers, but his gaze shifted to look at Jenny's pretty face, looking at her full of love.

"I Love You."

Arjuna said in such a gentle tone after successfully kissing Jenny's hand. Jenny's heart is filled with butterflies of love that are ready to fly.
