Part 72 - Didn't we promise

"Jenny, what reason did you choose Arjuna?"

Mark's question was trying to break the silence they both felt.

While Jenny did not want to face Mark at all, she preferred to stare at a green scene that was much more soothing.

"I'm sure there must be a lot of sacrifices that Arjuna has made to get you, certainly competing with a lot of men."

Mark who saw Jenny only smiled for a moment again trying to break the conversation.

"My love for Arjuna is pure for no reason."

This time Jenny dared to look at Mark's face.

Jenny's answer was very simple and weighty for Mark's ears.

Arjuna's choice was never wrong.

Inner Mark said the word, admitting that Jenny is not just physically beautiful. The woman looked dazzling in Mark's eyes with her way of speaking.

"Are you afraid of my presence, Jenn?"

Actually Mark had felt Jenny's fear attitude from the first look at it earlier. It's just that Mark tried not to want to know, exactly did not want to give up trying to get close to Jenny.

"I've always been afraid of Caucasian men."

The next day Arjuna and Jenny were already on the plane heading home to Jakarta. Jenny looks moody, she is more silent, until Arjuna feels strange about the change in Jenny's attitude.

"Why you, baby?"

"Is there anything to think about?"

It seems that Arjuna is already very sensitive to his wife's feelings.

"I'm just thinking about Cleo and Clarisa baby."

Jenny's longing for her children is unstoppable, but actually it's not all Jenny thinks about.

Jenny still remembers what happened yesterday morning when she met Mark.

Jenny POV's

After Arjuna left the toilet, leaving Jenny and Mark in an awkward situation. Mark did not stop looking at Jenny's beautiful face, the man even shifted his sitting position.

Mark sat next to Jenny, occupying Arjuna's former seat. Jenny was increasingly frightened when she saw Mark's increasingly intense reaction to approach her.

"Please Mark, don't act that no."

Jenny's proposal remains unanswered by the bloody man.

"It turns out you're getting more interesting when viewed from a closer distance."

The bule man began to act his seduction to Jenny.

"Please Mark move aside! Get out of Arjuna's chair."

Jenny's lips slightly pressed her sentence, she felt indignant about Mark's behavior.

"Why?"

"Are you afraid Arjuna knows?"

"Don't bother me Mark! I am the wife of Arjuna, the wife of your best friend. Are you crazy?"

The spicy words from Jenny's mouth just sound more sweet in Arjuna's ears.

"Because belonging to someone else is much more interesting Jenn."

Mark was really crazy, he looked more like a wall in front of Jenny.

"Look at your Arjun, Jenn, but I just want to know how long you're going to stay together."

Mark's gaze was directed at a distance of ten meters from his front, where Arjuna was walking toward Mark and Jenny's table.

Luckily Arjuna was busy receiving calls between his steps, so he did not focus on Jenny and Mark. Maybe it's a call from A&J who still often contact Arjuna when left on honeymoon leave.

"I love you Jenn."

Mark's whisper is right in Jenny's ear, then the man immediately moves away from Arjuna's chair before Arjuna realizes his closeness to Jenny.

"Darling, I had a nightmare last night."

Said Arjuna who wanted to break Jenny's daydream, then hold Jenny's hand tightly.

"What nightmare?"

Is it possible that Arjuna's feeling is so strong for Jenny?

"I dream you left without a word for me Jenn."

Sure enough, Jenny's anxiety is able to be felt by Arjuna's subconscious.

"In the dream it felt so real, until I woke up and cried."

Reveal Arjuna again.

"Why don't you wake me up, baby?"

Jenny feels guilty for Arjuna, because she doesn't know what Arjuna felt last night.

"I can't wake you up, baby. Being able to watch you sleep next to me is enough to calm me down."

It is true that last night Arjuna had fondly stroked Jenny's head, even hugging Jenny so tightly as to fear loss.

"Whatever the circumstances, I will not leave you Arjuna."

"Aren't we the same promise and pray in Kintamani lake."

Jenny recalls a romantic moment with Arjuna, reminding each other of their promises.

"Yes dear."

Arjuna hugged Jenny's arm, then put his head on Jenny's shoulder.

Apparently Arjuna felt a little tired due to nightmares that reduced his sleeping hours, before long Arjuna's eyes began to shut on Jenny's shoulder.
