10: Falling Fainted

The night was getting late, seen Jessica sitting contemplating in the back garden facing the flowers that thrive in the park. Flower buds fill almost every tree and are ready to bloom when morning comes and there are some flowers that have begun to show their beauty.

There was no expression whatsoever that Jessica showed, her face looked flat and the look in her eyes implied sadness, pain and despair.

Jessica never saw the light in her life again, because the only light she had was no longer in this world. That light had long since been snatched from his life making his life only in a blanket of darkness. All this time Jessica lived but like she had no life, Jessica felt empty and empty.

Meanwhile. Luhan who had just returned stopped his steps when he saw the garden lights on and the door connecting the living room and kitchen opened. Luhan stepped silently intending to close the door until he saw the silhouette of a girl with dark brown ties sitting on a garden chair on her back.

Without Luhan seeing anything, he already knew who the girl was, given that she was the only girl who stayed one roof with his team.

Luhan squinted his eyes, he did not know what the girl was doing in the park in the middle of the night like this. Luhan did not want to be too dizzy, the young man turned around and waltzed away. But curiosity brought down his ego, Luhan undoes his intention to go to his room and approach Jessica.

The creaking of the chair distracts Jessica, the girl twists her neck and finds Luhan sitting to her right and her gaze refocused on the dark night sky

"Look at the star," pointed Jessica at one of the stars that glowed with a smirky smile. "Do you believe that the man who is gone will be one of those stars??" she still with the same smile.

"...." empty, Luhan did not give an answer. The young man just stared flat ahead.

"Since my mother's departure that day, seeing stars became my hobby. Every time I miss him, I look at the stars. Mama, you told me once, if a dead person is going to be one of the stars in the sky, do you believe that story, too?" Jessica turned her head to look at Luhan's cold face which was also staring at her.

"...." but there's no answer.

Jessica did not feel offended by Luhan's coldness and silence, she was used to being ignored by the young man. Since 1 year ago, Luhan's attitude towards him had never changed in the slightest, it was still as cold as the north pole. Jessica got up from her seat, without saying a single word, Jessica moved and left just like that, but the grip on her wrist stopped the girl's steps.

Jessica turned her head, her eyes locked directly on Luhan's grey bead. As the young man rose from his seat, another hand reached into his leather vest pocket and took out something shiny which he then gave to Jessica.

"Is this necklace yours?"

Jessica took the pendant and looked at it with teary eyes. "Ba.ba.ba.ga.i where can this necklace be on you? I think I've lost this necklace." she said in tears

"I accidentally found him. Looks like that necklace is really important to you?" Jessica nodded quickly, a slurred smile at the corner of her lips

"This necklace is the only thing my mother has left me. Mama, give me this necklace before she breathes her last," Jessica said, then put it back on.

"If it's important, take good care of it and don't let it go away again." Said Luhan giving advice.

Jessica nodded her head."Thank you for finding and returning this necklace to me." Jessica's sincere smile made Luhan speechless, as long as he knew the girl.

This was the first time Luhan had seen Jessica smile at him. "It's late, you better get back to your room" Luhan said before breezing off. Suddenly though....

Luhan turned his head when he heard something from behind, Luhan's eyes widened to find Jessica lying unconscious. Soon Luhan approached the girl, grabbing Jessica's head into her arms.

Luhan placed his palm on Jessica's forehead, his gray eyes widening. Without stalling for more time Luhan immediately lifted the girl's body and brought her into the house.

"Eo. Hyung, what happened to, Sica nunna?" dio panics when he comes out of his room and finds Luhan holding Jessica who is unconscious.

"Hurry to find the Doctor" Luhan asked without stopping his steps. Dio nodded.

Luhan pushed through Jessica's bedroom door using his feet and laid her body on the bed. Luhan moved and was about to fetch water to compress Jessica, but the girl's grasp stopped Jessica's steps

"Don't go, I beg you. Mama. hiks, I beg you." Luhan turned his head, staring at Jessica's face flatly.

The two girls eyes were tightly closed, Luhan paused his intention to leave then sat down next to the girl lying down and let her hands remain in the grip by Jessica.

"Lu, uh,"

Luhan turned his head and found L walking up to him with an anxious face, L standing beside Jessica. "What happened to her?" ask L while checking Jessica's body temperature.

"I don't know myself. I saw him suddenly faint, and when I checked his temperature he had a fever" Luhan explained.

L let out a long sigh. "Jessica was sick, probably because there was too much weight she was thinking. But Lu, where is the boy? Tumben he's not here?? Usually he's the one who panics the most when Sica's sick?" I'm looking for Dio's whereabouts, he doesn't seem to stick his nose.

"I'm here, Hyung." said a voice from behind. The two turned to the source of the voice, Dio came with a female Doctor who was the same age as L. "Hyung, this is the doctor" said Dio.

"Please come in, Doc" said L.

The doctor nodded and approached Jessica. His eyes widened to see the pale face lying helplessly in front of him. "Sica?" smirked muttering. He looked very surprised.

Luhan got up from his seat while looking at the female Physician with narrowed eyes. "You know him?" luhan asked in a cold tone.

The female doctor turned her head, looked at Luhan then nodded. "She was my junior in high school, she disappeared 1 year ago" he said.

"Later continue the story. We'd better check the situation immediately, after that we can talk outside. Let's go out," Luhan said as he glanced at his two comrades and passed by just like that, at the follow of L and Dio
