"Bad bastard!!"
The sound of a bang was clearly heard in a room. A tiny body full of wounds fell on the ground. He tried to stand up, but all his strength was drained.
The sound of a punch was heard several times coupled with the moaning sound of a woman's cry. The fragile wooden hut bore silent witness to all the torture that was going on.
A grown man kept his fists on a petite man who sat down at his feet. Like a heartless savage beast, he continued to beat mercilessly.
The young woman who fell behind him began to block the torture. He hooked his fingers on the clothes used by the man.
"My husband, don't hit him again." please.." With tears flowing down.
The cruel man he referred to as the husband ignored his plea and continued to beat until his anger subsided. The young woman, who turned out to be his wife, came back crying, begging her husband to stop. While the target of the beating was silent, his mouth was clenched, making no sound at all. No complaints, no screaming, no tears.
This was common for him, just think of it as everyday food.
Just a while passed, the blow stopped. The rough breathing of the man who hit him in a row was clearly heard. The wife who was still crying started to lower her voice, she turned to the little boy who looked weak in front of her.
"Say! What are you doing in the market?!" The man's voice echoed in the ears.
The little boy fell on the ground, he raised his head and looked into the eyes of the man who hit him just now.
"Uncle..." It's whistling.
"ANSWER DAMN! WHY ARE YOU MAKING SUCH A COMMOTION IN THE MARKET?!! DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID THAT EMBARRASSED ME?!!".
The man he called his 'Uncle' pulled his hair, his eyes wide open forced to look at his uncle who was enveloped in emotion.
"I'm in vain to take care of you!".
The boy received a loud bang on his face once again and it elicited a loud scream from the wife of his uncle.
"Stop! I said stop it!"
The boy fell down once again. His breathing slowed down, his entire body crumbling. He can't do anything. Bruises and bruises spread across his face, one of his eyes looking swollen.
"I got into a fight because the boy asked for a free pickle from auntie. Uncle knows, right? Auntie trades with little profit. As for uncle owed his family, he did so at will." The boy made a sound, trying to explain in detail why he was making a fuss.
"It's your fault anyway, it's his family and we're the ones affected. The money you borrowed to get drunk, there's not a dime for us." Further.
One blow for the umpteenth time landed on his face. And that made the little boy cough a few times.
"Shut your mouth!" The boy's uncle growled furiously.
The boy with a face full of wounds got up, started leaning his body against the wooden wall that was starting to weathered. His whole body was crumbling, it felt like he wanted to die. Silent among them, finally the voice of the uncle was heard in his ears.
"If you do something like this again, I could throw you away."
The sound of footprints sounded away from the hearing of the boy who was now too weak. His eyes were about to close before his uncle's voice sounded again before closing the door of the room.
"Discover that! Shu Cao's!".

"Hmm. I never thought there was such a place..".
The path surrounded by bamboo is lined up neatly. When the wind hit the bamboo rows, the sound of a beautiful flute echoed. It was like relaxing music. The sound of water splashing sounded throughout the path, down the bamboo rows to the very end where it was a very open place.
The vast expanse of green grass as well as the large trees embedded around it, added to the beauty of the hidden place. The small river flowed quietly, the sound of the water soothing the ears like a melody. Sunlight entered through the cracks of lush leaves, the wind blew lightly.
Moreover, an old hut that looks still a little neatly standing in the middle of the meadow, around it is overgrown by thickets. It is still worth living in even if it seems like no one lives there.
Zhi Yuo was stunned when he saw that beautiful sight. He took his step deeper into the place, it felt very grateful to still be given the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful place.
Traveling around for a while to introduce himself to the surroundings, Zhi Yuo finally concluded that he would train his cultivation here. In addition to his place that blends with nature, he can also focus on practicing because there are no settlements around here.
Zhi Yuo turned to the wooden hut that had attracted his attention ever since he came here. When he touches the wood used as a hut support, it may be somewhat weathered, but not that bad. This building is still sturdy, no need to worry if exposed to the wind as long as the wind is not too strong.
Zhi Yuo went inside, saying excuse me to check if anyone lives in this hut. But the result was nothing, he heard nothing. The door was half open.
The sound of the door creaking sounded a little annoying to the ears. Zhi Yuo went inside, turning around to check if anyone lived here. Apparently there isn't.
As he went further and further, he knew something. This hut was narrow and stuffy, there were only a few items inside. There is a small wooden cot in the corner of the room, still worthy to be used to rest. A small table also complements the room. Water jugs are located irregularly in the hut, some are broken.
Zhi Yuo shook his head, this hut really looks unkempt. It may have been abandoned long ago. Zhi Yuo felt a warm sensation on his face, when he looked up, his eyes collided with the sunlight. The ceiling of the hut looks hollow in some places and it makes Zhi Yuo cluck lazily.
"When it rains how is it?"
Inevitably he had to patch it up with something. Zhi Yuo had to fix this hut bit by bit. But he also did not care much, because this hut was only a temporary residence.
Zhi Yuo sat himself down on the wooden couch, sighing tiredly. This has stepped on during the day, the air is getting stuffy and the sunlight is getting stinging. Zhi Yuo wanted to just give up the taste, but he remembered that this was not how much.
"Congratulations..." Zhi Yuo complained. His body was leaning against the fragile wooden wall, trying to break some time.
"Sister... Chang Yu's..." Zhi Yuo's mouth murmured indistinctly before he closed his eyes perfectly. I don't know why he's so tired now.

The sound of the bushes rang out clearly. Zhi Yuo woke up from his deep sleep even though he had just been shut down. Zhi Yuo rubbed the corners of his lips, his brows frowning from hearing a strange sound.
"Who is that?".
In a hurry, Zhi Yuo got off the cot and ran outside the hut. When he got to the front, there was nothing there until he was astonished himself.
Zhi Yuo scratched his head, "Is it just a dream?".
Just as he was thinking so, someone suddenly came out of nowhere walking towards the bamboo barsan. The bamboo garden is an access out of this place to the village. And Zhi Yuo saw that with his own eyes.
"Hey you!" Zhi Yuo reprimanded him, trying to see who the person who came suddenly was.
The petite person turned his head, a bruised face full of wounds just like that. Zhi Yuo was surprised instead of playing, he rushed to chase after her. But strangely that person who might look like he was still a child, immediately ran away. Maybe because of fear.
"That's not the kid in the market.." Zhi Yuo.

A little boy ran outside from the bamboo forest. In his hand was a sizable pocket. He took her without objection to a place.
The market is the main goal. There was someone he had to meet at the market. From a distance already seen a small tavern which is where his aunt sells.
A young woman was stirring the pickles that were inside the jug. His trading has been selling a little since morning. Now we wait for the buyer to come. This summer is more profitable for him who only sells pickles.
His gaze was distracted at a petite boy running towards him.
"Shu Cao, where have you been?" He scolded softly.
"I'm so tired.." Shu Cao's.
"Who told you to go out in the afternoon like this? You bad boy." Auntie immediately pulled her ear, but it was not done rudely. And that made Shu Cao laugh.
"Auntie knows? I just picked loquats in the bamboo forest, they are growing bushy this season. I picked some." Shu Cao said as he opened the large pouch he was carrying, and it turned out to contain a lot of cooked loquats.
"What's? Shu Cao.aunt told you not to go to the bamboo forest, right? People say there's a lot of fine creatures out there.." Aunt's face looks worried.
Shu Cao was silent, he was busy remembering if he saw anything strange there.
"Ah, I don't see any subtle creatures there. But I saw someone come out of that haunted old shack."
His aunt's eyes looked slightly glared, "What? Anybody live there?".
Shu Cao nodded, with an indifferent face he said, "Maybe he's just a lunatic."

Orange color coloring the sky that stretched wide. Grey clouds are scattered, adorning the afternoon sky that looks calming. The breeze still continues to blow while the sun has started to sink to the west.
Zhi Yuo raised his head, enjoying the afternoon breeze. This is the time he likes the most, it is very calming. Maybe he could enjoy this before he returned to training at night. Zhi Yuo pondered, is tonight the perfect full moon? If only tonight was the crescent moon, would he still be able to train freely?. Since he absorbed the moonlight energy in full, let alone he trained from the very beginning again.
"My ear cocks keep itchy?" Zhi Yuo continued to scratch his earlobe that felt itchy since earlier. I don't know why he had this feeling that anyone was talking about him.
Sighing tiredly, Zhi Yuo finally chose to enter the hut while waiting for nightfall. His stomach was hungry because he hadn't eaten since this morning, but he was driving away all that hunger.

"Hm... I kind of forgot about the spell I used.."
It was seen that Zhi Yuo was inside the hut, only illuminated with the light from the torch he was carrying, it was seen that he was writing something on paper.
Thin papers were scattered, on it was etched irregularly written ink. While Zhi Yuo continued to scratch his head which did not even itch at all.
"It's me being reborn but why is half my memory gone!!" Frustrated scream.
Zhi Yuo finally gave up on what he was working on. The last paper was in his hand, now it was inscribed with a spell that was difficult for ordinary people to read. But since it was his own writing, Zhi Yuo understood the intent of the spell he wrote.
"Just go, just go for it." Zhi Yuo had completely given up. He read the mantra he wrote. In the first stanza, he actually remembered it, but for the next mantra he did not remember it at all.
"Later to remember for yourself, perhaps.. . Oho! This one spell can help me practice!".
After feeling long enough in the hut, Zhi Yuo decided to check the situation outside. And what he got was....
" Dark."
Yes, it's late and the time is perfect for training. Fortunately, he had already chosen a suitable place for it.
Zhi Yuo went outside the hut with the spell paper in his hand. He began to walk away from the hut, down the dark forest under the lush foliage.
Many obstacles must be faced, such as wooden twigs, muddy soil, and so on. But Zhi Yuo did not care about that and still walked towards his goal to practice.
"Here we go!"
The sound of the river was clearly heard in the ears. Water splashing sounds hit the rock, the sound of night insects is also earthy. Zhi Yuo put away the bushes before him, and that was what he saw.
A clear river, although not too big but the water flows quite fast. The moonlight was clearly visible, illuminating the area around the river. There were only a few trees when entering this area, so the moonlight could be reflected clearly in the clear river water.
Not far from there is a source from which water flows. A small waterfall, splashing water is not too much. It was just that there were some fairly large stones around it, and it was formed like a staircase. The moonlight also illuminated the place clearly, and it made Zhi Yuo interested in doing the exercises there.
"Alright, let's welcome this moonlight~".
Zhi Yuo set his foot there, on the biggest rock he decided to stop.
He sat cross-legged, taking a deep breath and bringing it to tranquility. The splashing sound of water is good enough for relaxation, not disturbing at all.
Zhi Yuo raised his head, until the entire inch of his face was exposed to the moonlight. It's time!.
Taking a deep breath and throwing it away slowly, Zhi Yuo was ready to begin his training.
"MingYuo.." A murmur sounded from his mouth.
MingYuo, was the name of his sword first. The sword was immortal within the underworld to wait for him to return. Didn't he promise to defeat the demon king? Then he must keep his promise.
Zhi Yuo closed his eyes, closed them tightly and tried to focus on every spell he memorized. The moonlight continued to expose him, until his energy slowly absorbed into Zhi Yuo's body.
At first nothing happened, as if the moon energy that was absorbed into Zhi Yuo's body felt like a cool breeze. But over time Zhi Yuo felt a burning sensation on his skin.
Cold sweat poured from his forehead, but Zhi Yuo was unwilling to give up until there. He continued to focus, feeling how his skin pores were forced open just to absorb the moonlight energy.
His hands trembled as the pain completely slipped all the way to the crown. Zhi Yuo felt his head being pulled by something. His soul thrashed in there. His heart was beating faster than usual.
"No problem. A little more done.. ".
Zhi Yuo knew, it was painful at first. But when he got used to it, the pain was friendly to his body and instead gave him more energy, namely immunity. So as much as possible he will survive the pain.
This was his cultivation, he had already sensed it.
The clouds suddenly moved, blocking the moonlight that was shining down on his body.
Zhi Yuo opened his eyes hurriedly, his breathing completely irregular. He had almost died from the pain caused by the moon's energy, but that wasn't a problem.
The problem was, his body was exhausted, so exhausted that Zhi Yuo collapsed after all that was done.
"Now I am so weak.."
The sound of wind was clear. Zhi Yuo slowly closed his eyes, allowing his body to rest even for a little while.
It didn't feel like his blood flow was starting to warm up. And that meant he managed to absorb the energy until it entered his body, giving him strength, and it was very useful for him.
Without Zhi Yuo noticing, a pair of red eyes watched him from behind the leaves. The growl sounded from there, quite slowly like a snoring.
When the moon was almost completely covered until the light he had caused was a little, the creature went from there. Its wide wings give the impression gripping that night.
Zhi Yuo noticed it when something flew away from his training ground. The shape was not so clear as the creature flew too far.
The same question came to his mind thousands of times. What is that creature?.
