"How's it?" Yoshi who from earlier stared intensely at the figure of the woman who was in front of him, was now waiting for Diandra's decision with a pounding heart.
In fact, he felt like a man who was expressing love only and waiting for the decision of the woman before him.
'What if he refuses? Then what what am I supposed to do?' muttered Yoshi who really hopes to be closer to Diandra if he accepts the offer to become a private secretary.
He had not used a private secretary because he was not interested when he had a personal assistant. However, because he wanted to get closer to Diandra, so he thought that the position of private secretary could be a way to fulfill his wishes.
On the other hand, Diandra, who had just read the job listing of a private secretary, felt that it was not difficult for her. Still, there is doubt there.
Now, he raised his gaze and made her feel hesitant to open her voice. "I ...."
Diandra did not continue his words because he heard the ringing of his cellphone in the jacket.
"Attent. My mother called," said Diandra who pointed her hand toward the figure of the man in front of her so as not to make a sound.
Actually Yoshi felt very disappointed because he could not immediately hear the answer from Diandra, but tried to be patient because he knew that the woman before him was carrying a heavy burden on his shoulders when he was young.
"Yes, Mommy." Alesha knew that her father was in surgery, but today did not want to disturb his mother who must be tired of waiting for the operation.
So, he chose to wait for his mother to inform him of his father's situation.
"Diandra, thank God your father just finished surgery. It has now been moved to the treatment room and the doctor said there were no problems and it was going well. Thank you for saving your father from death. I also want to thank your friend and boss."
Diandra was currently speechless and sat face to face with the gleaming iris of the man before her, thus instantly shifting her gaze. He did not want the mother to talk about the boss who was none other than Austin.
So, he chose to speak before handing over the phone to Yoshi.
"I happen to be with that angel right now. I can say thank you to my friend." Then immediately give the phone to Yoshi.
Feeling that his current destiny was on his side, Yoshi now wasted no time and revealed what he felt.
"Hello, Mum. This is Yoshi. Thank goodness the operation went well. Hopefully, Diandra's father can recover soon after surgery and return to health as usual." Yoshi even spoke without turning his attention to Diandra while listening to the hoarse voice of the woman across the phone.
"Sir Yoshi, I'm really very grateful for your kindness, so that Diandra's father can still be saved by surgery. May Allah repay the kindness of Nak Yoshi many times."
Meanwhile, Yoshi felt unbearable to hear it and now tried to entertain as much as he could because he had never been in such a position. However, being able to understand the full feeling of the good news he had just heard.
"If you want to thank me, don't cry. I can at least hear or see a woman crying."
"Yes, I won't cry anymore. It's a cry of happiness to be able to meet a kind man like you. I hope someday I can meet you, Nak Yoshi."
"Of course, Mother. If need be, I'll go there if you want to see me." Yoshi even tried to decipher the atmosphere by chuckling amusedly at his own words that even impressed like a prospective daughter-in-law.
While Diandra who heard it, immediately asked his phone so that the conversation was not going anywhere. "I want to talk to my mom."
"alright. Ma'am, Diandra wants to talk and snatch her phone." Then give Diandra's phone to talk to her mother again.
As soon as the phone in his hand came back, Diandra explained to her mother that she was outside and would call back later. Then he immediately turned off the phone after the mother agreed.
"Why should the phone end?" Yoshi felt very disappointed that the current could no longer satisfy himself to stare at the female figure before him.
Diandra deliberately did it because she wanted to talk seriously with Yoshi and now there was absolutely no doubt after talking to her mother, as if reminding her that she had to return the money of the man before her.
Now, he extended his hand. "I'm willing to work as your secretary. When can I work?"
Yoshi who now blinked his eyes, felt very happy as well as in shock. However, he hurriedly shook Diandra's palm.
"Thank God you finally got it. Tomorrow, as I said earlier you can go straight to work tomorrow."
"alright. I will work well from tomorrow" said Diandra who now immediately released his hand from Yoshi's grasp.
Yoshi now stood up from his position because he felt the atmosphere suddenly turned clumsy after shaking hands with each other. "It's night now. You better go back to the apartment. Let me take you."
Diandra just nodded slowly without opening her voice as she now stepped towards the apartment lobby and felt very confident that her decision to work on a man as good as Yoshi was right.
'I will start a new life in a new workplace, ' murmured Diandra who wanted everything to go smoothly.
