Al-Ma'la Cemetery is the oldest cemetery in the city of Makkah, located on the outskirts of Ma'la Village, to the north of the Grand Mosque.
It is known as the family funeral of the Prophet. Abdul Muttalib, Abu Talib, Siti Aminah, and Siti Khadijah are buried in this cemetery.
International scholars from Indonesia who became the Imam of the Grand Mosque were also buried in Ma'la, namely Sheikh Nawawi al-Bantani.
The SAPTCO bus stopped in front of the gate.
One by one the group came down. The grave attendant came out of the small post welcoming them. Women are forbidden to enter.
"Send my greetings to Sayyidah Khadijah, good light," Oma said.
Oma and the other women waited outside, offering prayers from behind the fence or sitting on the balls in front of the gate.
The cemetery was only a flat field with white stones as a feature.
Al stepped in and stopped by the tiny building picking up a handful of wheat available in the sack. Eyang Munzir and his friends lined up to reach the sack. This wheat is for the food of the pigeons that roam the cemetery.
Al's feet trembled slightly as he walked down the road to meet Siti Khadijah.
Al said his greetings and squatted near the white concrete that bordered the resting place of the noblest woman.
"Oma send greetings" whispered Al lirih. "Oma wanted to complain to you, but couldn't because her love for Muhammad was beyond her heart's pain."
Al offered a prayer, then rose up along the path between the stones of the tomb. While sprinkling wheat to the pigeons who perched in groups, he sent greetings and prayers to Yasir and Sumayah who were the first martyrs in Islam, the martyrs, tabi'ut tabiin, ahlul Ma'la, ahlul Indonesia.
He stopped for a moment at the cemetery. His eyes swept the tomb stones that are said to be around the foot of the hill Hajun is residing Shaykh Nawawi al-Bantani.
Then Al went to meet a group of disbanded officers for sitting on the shoulder of the road.
"I told you that pilgrimages should not be clustered" said Al, "or on the way."
"If no pilgrimage is allowed, it should not be allowed to enter" argued Mr. Hanif. "What are we doing inside? Dig sand?"
"No way, not" said Al Patient. "Fear of slipping aqidah."
"Begging is not for what it should be" added Eyang Munzir. "What we see are only white stones that bring no barokah anything, except as a reminder."
"Tumben Eyang's mind is straight," smiled Al. "Don't compare with the tradition of pilgrimage in the village."
The group did not arrive for half an hour at Ma'la's funeral. The bus started moving again to its next destination.
Ten minutes later they had gathered on the terrace of the Jin Mosque, some sitting on the steps.
Jin Mosque is located approximately 100 meters south of Ma'la cemetery, two floors, covering an area of about 10 X 20 meters.
The dome of the mosque is decorated by the calligraphy inscription Surah Jin verses 1-9. The naming of this mosque is closely related to rare and important events in the jinn. They are willing to believe in Allah SWT and follow the teachings of Islam.
The group performed the prayer on the second floor. After that the bus drove again south to Ja'fariyah Market.
Ja'fariyah Market is located near Jin Mosque, about 1 km north of the Grand Mosque. The market occupies the ground floor of several hotel buildings.
The goods offered are various, ranging from Muslim clothing, souvenirs, ring stones, food, drinks, perfumes, to gold jewelry. Local and foreign production, including Indonesia.
As with most shops in Makkah, buyers must be good at bidding. Even different times, can be different prices for the same item.
What makes shopping in Ja'fariyah happy is that almost all sellers can speak Indonesian. To attract buyers they write the name of Indonesian political figures or celebrities who are popular.
When prayer time comes, traders close their stores temporarily, and hold congregational prayers in the market.
Because the average group of people who are wealthy, then they buy a variety of goods as much as possible.
"Buy souvenirs of what to sell?" sindir Al saw Oma had not stopped shopping, but the goods had been sent back and forth to the cargo car waiting on the side of the road.
Al deliberately ordered cargo services for this group so as not to bother carrying goods when returning home.
"Our brothers are many" said Oma, "the great family."
"These things in Tanah Abang are also many."
"The tension is different" said Nek Surti. "Well, is that."
Al saw Dinar looking for a cargo officer, his goods had already piled up in front of the booth. She usually joins her husband Ahmed's entourage. But when he found out this group was going shopping, he immediately joined.
"Nyamperin Dinar Bentar's sister, Oma."
Al came to Dinar who was paying for all the goods he bought.
"Yet. A lot hasn't been bought."
"Sak Dinar keep shopping. This is let me take care of."
"Thank you."
Women, whether old or young, are the most nimble shopping affairs. As long as the money was still there, hands were busy picking things.
"Ten minutes to go" Al warned. "You guys, please keep shopping or I'll leave."
"Yes, yes" replied Ms. Hanif. "Rempong is the chairman."
"The chairman didn't buy souvenirs for the chairman's mother?" sindir Pamela's.
"The chairman's mother is you."
"Esteemed chief don't speak of origin. This is Haram Land. If it happened, how?"
"Aren't you going to be my harim?"
"The second one?"
"What is the client?"
"Already ah, make a joke don't miss."
Even if I have no regrets, Al thought silly. Pamela deserves to be her life partner. Just maybe he should stop being an artist because he does not want his body charm to be another man's eye meal.
"You sing it in front of me later" said Al. "Not for other men."
"Sir chairman why the hell? Just been left for a while already gatelan!"
"Males should not be left behind, guarded 24 hours just a lot of escapes."
"So there's a plan to take honey?"
"There's interest?"
"Cius?"
"Well, is it time dong? Duren's just been split, time's been cut?"
"Terus Vidya the third?"
"The first one is not official."
"Eat it don't come from."
Al himself was astonished that words just flowed. Or because you start to doubt your love?
Riany's departure was quite disturbing to his mind. How close is the girl's relationship with Faye? To the point that he hasn't had time to return?
Al did not refuse to take care of the group. They wonder why the chairman is so at home in Riyadh when he has responsibilities in Makkah. He's running out of answers.
Maybe Riany wants to wait until Faye gets out of the hospital. But it's not fair. How much time is spent? Or is there something else? Is it because of Lukman? Al immediately threw out the suspicions that suddenly broke through his mind.
The only way is not to care.
Shopping event is over. The cargo officer provides a list of the costs to be paid. Al took out some 500 riyals.
"You can't go on like this" said the subtle Dinar. "Later habit."
"It's Oma's money, if I ask for a change."
"It's very loyal to Oma."
"According to Kak Dinar treasure can be brought to death what not?"
"could. Lots of alms."
"Well, that's what Oma did."
Al received the note handed over by the cargo officer. Then they returned to the bus to perform Maghrib prayers at the Grand Mosque.
