A cheerful smile made the room white as Al opened the door. Aisyah sat leaning against the gurney covered in white sheets.
Al hapal smile that contains honesty if he is happy for his arrival, not covering up the pain so that others do not put pity. He doesn't yet know what made him lie down for so long in the ICU.
He must have suffered a week more not to get out of bed like a synthetic seat. He did not know what kept him in the room.
It was as if they were punishing him by not telling him what he was suffering. A mistake from a much considered decision.
Abi Rashid thought Aisyah was too fragile to accept the decision. She was afraid her daughter was in shock. A treatment from a father who does not know the personality of his child as a whole.
Or does Aisyah have a different life between at home and on campus?
Aisyah wants to look strong in front of her friends, even though her general death is tragically not removed from the recesses of her heart.
Covering the suffering with a smile is not the nature of the Al Khanza girl.
"You've been healed?" ask Aisyah. His face looks happy to see Al has returned as before. "The bego question? If it's not healed yet, where can you see me?"
"Hospitals make smart people look stupid, strong people look weak."
"It should be a healthy home?"
"Home healthy when people are sick?"
"There is a language confusion that goes on for generations."
Al doesn't want to discuss anything unnecessary. Language is just lipstick, its essence. Why beautify the packaging if the contents are the same, a manipulation that actually deceives and creates a pseudo-phenomenon.
"I'm healthy too" said Aisyah. "Just the legs can't be moved, why?"
There is an opportunity to deliver the doctor's verdict. Perhaps Abi Rashid did not have the heart to see the soaring happiness that crashed to the bottom of the earth, whereas Aisha needed to know the reality that happened to her.
If it rests on feelings, everyone does not dare to deliver bad news. Sometimes people suffer because they have to suffer. But was Aisha really suffering with the new reality she received?
It depends a lot on the way you talk. Do not let that way add to the complicated situation. The problem is how to tell the bad news in a good way.
"Doctors don't know why?" ask Al carefully. "The bego question? If the doctor tells you, you won't go to me."
Al saw on the small table were lobster, strawberry juice, apples, and pears. He asked, "You haven't had lunch yet? Bego's question again. If so, the food will be gone."
"I'm waiting for jaddah. My grandmother used to feed me. He's still in the hotel."
"Who is preparing the food? It can't be the hospital."
"Riany provided all that. Your wife is so nice."
He wants to atone for his sins, Al said in his heart. He felt the accident happened because of his mistake.
"Why don't you ask to be fed to my wife?" ask Al. "He doesn't want to?"
"I don't want to. He's been very kind to me. He provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner. He knows my favorite menu. Abi himself asked a lot. You tell your wife?"
Al never told me anything about Aisha. His wife must have found out to her grandmother. He couldn't possibly ask Wulandari or Lin Wei. Behind the suspicion and jealousy, there is a concern that should be proud of.
"I don't know exactly what your favorite menu is" Al smiled. "How can I tell my wife?"
Al knows everything Riany does to make up for her selfishness towards her husband. He wants to please her by paying special attention to his best friend. A very dangerous treatment for himself.
Aisyah could be misinterpreted with this kindness. What if he thinks this treatment is a reflection.restu? By Allah! Al came to this all-white room not for misleading fantasies!
He asked Abi Rashid to tell him what happened!
Al looked at the beautiful girl in front of him gently, and said, "You should eat on time so as not to suffer from heartburn. I'm a bribe, huh?"
The eyes that were studded with Arabian charm were staring in disbelief. "You ready?"
"What's the bego question?"
Al picked up a knife and began cutting the lobster into small pieces, then feeding Aisyah with a fork.
Al didn't say much while serving the girl a meal.
"Drink" Aisha's pinta.
Al take strawberry juice. Aisyah drank through a straw, then ate a few more mouthfuls, finished.
Al cut the fruits.
"What's the matter exactly?" riany began to suspect. "Why are you suddenly so attentive?"
Al smiled gently. "Suddenly kok? I used to do this when you didn't want to eat?"
"I was so shocked to hear of the crash on the plane that Umi was on."
"So it's not sudden, and there's nothing sudden for us."
"meaning?"
"The course of our lives is determined by God, only the coming is sometimes unexpected, perhaps that makes every event look sudden, difficult to accept, even look magical."
"I don't know where you're going."
"Songs don't need direction, quite understandable."
Al gave some pieces of fruit with a fork.
"Enough," said Aisyah as Al was about to cut the next fruit. "I'm full already."
Al cleans Aisyah's lips with tissue. The girl looked a little careless.
"Riany must be jealous if she sees it" Aisyah commented. "There are things you can't do to me anymore."
"What is that?"
"That makes Riany suspicious of what you're doing."
Riany was always suspicious and jealous of whatever I did to you, Inner Al. You are a unique angel that is difficult to understand by the kids of today.
Aisyah, Wulandari, and Lin Wei were girls who might look stupid in their eyes. But in front of love who is smart? Cheating is proof of love slavery!
Al already felt enough with what was done, he started getting into the most decisive things. "Aren't you suspicious of your feet?"
Aisyah looked at him for a moment, as if something was troubling her mind, then said, "Of course. I feel like my body is healthy, the needles and drips have been removed. But my feet couldn't react. Is my foot experiencing something I'm afraid of?"
"What are you afraid of? While all the events are recorded in the course of our lives? The question is, what have we done yet?"
Aisyah held Al's hand and looked at him with anxiety that was difficult to remove. "Al's.... Am I paralyzed...?"
Al clasped Aisyah's hand for a moment as if to give strength. "I want to say no, I'll do anything for it. But I can't lie to reality, and there's no reality beyond His plan."
Aisyah was silent for a moment, then tears began to flow soaking down her beautiful face. There was a pressure that was hard to resist to make her cry.
"Cry as much as you can if you can reduce your burden" said Al ethereal. "One thing you need to know, I will not withdraw my words while in the Holy City no matter what happens to you. I know there's Oma's will you're hiding from me...."
"I want to be alone."
"I don't want you to fall alone in this room."
"I want you to go!" snapped Aisyah between her sedu sedan cries. "And don't come back!"
