Chapter 3 THE LOST HAPPINESS

Even five months of her father's second marriage Alea never again saw a gloomy or sad face on his father's face. Everything goes with the family in general. The days passed by everyone could see the happiness of the new family.

Alea has just returned home from school today is the announcement of her graduation results as an high school student. Alea went home with a beaming face, Alea wanted to give the news of her graduation to her father as well as her stepmother.

Alea was already at the end of the alley that was going towards her house. Alea's steps came to a halt for a moment after seeing many people coming out of his courtyard. Alea frowned looking at the house, Alea tried to guess what was happening in her house. But the harder Alea thought Alea could not find the answer.

Alea's feelings became alarmed after seeing one of her neighbors come out of the courtyard with a gloomy-looking face. Alea grew even more curious, with a thousand steps Alea swung her footsteps towards the house.

It turned out that in the courtyard of the house there were already many people who had come and the guests who had come at that time who he saw Alea, their faces all looked very sad. There were some people staring at Alea's arrival with a feeling of worship. Alea's feelings became unnerved due to the gazes of those people.

Alea ventured into the house, Alea's eyes immediately caught the figure of her stepmother sitting crying. Laura's eyes had been red and swollen from crying for too long.

"Mother, what's wrong...?" asked Alea worried.

"Dad, father Alea." said Laura Alea's stepmother stammered.

"Dad why mom?" ask Alea again. Alea's heart and mind were now anxious.

"Father is no more," Laura replied in a low voice as if she was whispering.

It was like a bomb had just exploded in Alea's heart.

"No, it's impossible" Alea said. Alea rejected the words of her stepmother.

"Where is dad, I want to see dad." Alea left her stepmother sitting evenly.

"Dad.....Fathering....Dad....!" Alea shouted to her father. Alea surrounded the room inside the house.

"Dad... Fathering...Alea's dad came home. Alea passed well...!" yell Alea again. Alea was still searching for her father's whereabouts.

All the mourners in the house felt sorry for Alea. They know how close Alea is to her father Mack.

"Alea.." call one of her neighbors.

Alea turned her body and looked at the person who called out to her.

"Where's Alea's father?" aela asked, Alea still rejected the fact that her father was dead.

"Alea, your father's in the room again. There's a doctor checking in" said his neighbor.

Alea quickly ran towards the room where her father was. After arriving at the door of her father's room Alea immediately stood stiff. Before entering the room Alea clearly saw her father lying on the bed.

"Dad.." call Alea down.

"Sorry miss, miss's father is gone" said the doctor who examined Alea's father.

"Tiiiidaa...!" Alea shouted out loud.

"Dad, wakeup...Dad woke up don't stay with Alea dad" Alea cried while hugging her already stiff body.

"Dad. Dad don't stay in Alea alone" Alea lamented.

"Alea, sincere father son. I'm with your mother now" said Laura, trying to appease her stepdaughter.

"Now who's Alea with if you leave?" Alea asked beside her crying.

Alea raised her head and looked at her stepmother's face with puffy eyes.

"Thank you for accepting Alea" Alea said. Alea's face was now reddened by crying her eyes were already swollen.

It was supposed to be a happy day for Alea but now it turned into a sad day. How not a person who unfortunately has now no following his birth mother who has already returned to the creator. Alea's heart really felt a sense of loss, Alea's heart became empty.

Mack's funeral of his father Alea went well, many mourners who came to pay their last respects to Alea's father. A lot of support Alea received from the mourners who came.

Now only Alea lives alone in the grave of her father, Alea Engan to go home. Alea's heart was completely devastated to accept the fact that her father was already together with her mother.

"Alea, let's go home yuk," asked Laura to try to persuade Alea.

*Alea still wants to be here ma'am," declined Alea subtly.

"It's late in the afternoon Alea, we should go home now," Laura reminded Alea.

"Mom in a moment, Alea still wants to accompany me here" Alea refused again.

Accepting Alea's rejection Laura's heart felt dislike. Laura even clenched her two hands beside her body. But even so Laura tried to hold back her emotions so as not to explode. Around the meal there were still some mourners who said her husband.

Laura took a deep breath in order to suppress her emotions. Laura smiled.

"Alea, don't be like this. You will make your father sad" Laura said.

Alea turned her face away and looked at her stepmother's face with a sad feeling.

"Mother, if you want to go home, just go home. Alea is fine," Alea refused again.

It felt like Laura was dragging Alea right now but that intention could only be stored in her heart.

*Mom will be waiting for you there," Laura said, pointing to the parked car. Alea simply nodded to him in response.

Laura left Alea with a big heart. Actually Laura already wanted to quickly return home there was something she wanted to do as soon as possible and it had to be unbeknownst to Alea.

Alea stared at the tombstone that read her father's name, the sadness made Alea cry again.

"Dad, Alea will definitely miss you a lot.Jaga Alea from there ya dad. Alea was very sorry for father," those parting words were spoken from Alea's trembling lips. Alea did not want to be away from her father.

After saying the sentence the library Alea got up from a squatting position. Alea waved her hand before stepping away leaving Mack's navel.

Alea approached her mother who was waiting for her.

"We're going home now" Laura said in a cold voice. Alea did not notice him at all, Alea was still overwhelmed with a feeling of loss

The car immediately drove off from the funeral park. In the car everything was silent no one spoke. Alea was busy with her daydream while Laura was actually making plans to do the action.

The car that Alea was riding in, Laura and her half-brother entered the courtyard of the house. Arriving at home there were still mourning guests who came and they were waiting for the arrival of Alea and Laura.

Alea immediately got out of the car after the car was parked.Alea immediately went into his room without meeting the guests who came. Nevertheless the guests felt commonplace with Alea's attitude.

The arrival of these guests was very disliked by Laura, Laura had her own reasons. Laura heartily served the guests, occasionally giving fake smiles and sad looks to the guests present.
