Chapter 4 HEIR RIGHTS

As the day grew, the mourning guests began to return to their homes. Tiredness immediately felt in the body Laura Laura intends to rest for a while before preparing dinner for her children.

In the yard of the house suddenly entered a car that was quite luxurious for Laura. Laura paused her intention to go inside her room to rest. Laura immediately stepped out of the house to check who was around to come. Laura stood right in front of the entrance, Laura's eyes intensely staring at the car that had just entered her yard.

The car door opened and from inside the car came out a male figure whose age if noticed could be said to be the same age as Macz her late husband.

Laura was still standing fixedly in the direction of the man. The man came was not alone there was still one more person who came down from the car. But the last man down his age is much easier than the first man.

The middle-aged man approached laura.

"Good afternoon." the middle-aged man greeted Laura.

"Good afternoon, please come in, please" Laura replied as she let the guest in.

"Please sit.." Laura invited her guests to sit down.

"Thank you" replied the young man.

The two of them immediately sat on the sofa in the living room.

"Include me is the lawyer of Mr. Macz Welency. And my name is Pauran" the middle-aged lung man introduced himself.

"And this is my assistant, his name is Randy" Pauran said.

Laura frowned her forehead staring at the two men who were before her at this moment.

"Lawyer, did my late husband do anything?" asked Laura worriedly. Not only was Laura worried about being wary of the two men.

"It's not like I meant, we came here because we wanted to read Mr. Macz's will" explained Pauran.

"Witness?" laura asked excitedly.

"Yes, before Mr. Macz died he had asked me to make a will" explained Pauran.

"Alright, then please let the lawyer tell me what is the contents of my husband's will" said Laura.

"But before I read the will of the deceased, I ask that all family members be present here" Paulan said.

"But my castle is again resting," Laura reasoned.

"All I ask is the biological daughter of Mr. Macz," Paulan made clear what he meant.

"My daughter Gabby how?" ask Laura to investigate.

"If his daughter wants to be present in the reading of this will please," said Paulan.

"I'm going to call Alea and Gabby, right now" Laura said. After that Laura immediately stepped into Gabby's room to call her daughter. Then Laura called Alea.

Though reluctant Alea came out from inside her room. Alea's current appearance was very chaotic, how could Alea not be doing well. Alea's eyes were swollen from crying for too long, her hair was a little disheveled. Alea did not intend to improve her appearance before exiting the room.

Alea's arrival became the center of attention of everyone in the living room.

"Alea, why don't you tidy up before you get out" said Laura. Laura felt embarrassed to see Alea's appearance. While Gabby looked at Alea with a look of disdain.

Alea just kept quiet and did not answer Laura's words. Alea sat on a safa that was only one person special. Alea did not want to stare at the guest sitting before her, Alea's head bowed deeply.

Pauran and Randy looked at Alea with pity. They both knew that Alea's biological parents had both returned to the creator. Not wanting to waste any more time, Paulan asks Randy to pull out a map that is in the bag held by Randy.

Laura and Gabby are very happy at this time, they both hope that if Macz gives the inheritance to both of them. Moreover, Laura feels that she will receive a greater inheritance than Alea because she is the legal wife of her husband Macz.

Laura and Gabby smiled as they waited for Pauran to read the will, in contrast to Alea, Alea was indifferent. Alea was still cooped up with feelings of sadness and loss of her father.

"Alright, I'll read it now," Pauran began reading Macz's last will.

All assets owned by Macz have been read by Pauran, now just read who owns the assets of Macz. Pauran continued to read the will. The first name mentioned by Pauran was Alea as the only daughter of Macz Welency.

Laura and Gabby wait for her name to be named as Macz's heir with hope.

"And the last part of Macz Welency's will is that all the assets owned by Macz Welency are fully given to Aleandra Welency as the only daughter of Macz Welency," the last verse of the will is read by Pauran.

Laura and Gabby are shocked by the final verse of Macz's will.

"Keep for me and my son Gabby how?" asked Laura bangtung. In her heart Laura hoped that there would still be her husband Macz to her and her daughter.

"Sorry, in the will it is only written if all assets owned by Macz Welency fall into the hands of Alexandra" said Pauran.

"No, it's impossible. You must be lying" Laura said.

"Please let Laura's mother read her own will," Pauran handed Laura the will.

Laura quickly snatched the will. Laura read the will. At the end Laura found neither her name nor her daughter listed there.

Laura tore up the will. Laura doesn't accept not having Macz Welency's legacy.

"There is no longer a will, so hand over all the documents related to the assets my husband has to me,!" laura was angry.

Pauran and Randy gave a smile as she listened to Laura's words.

"The letter that mother torn was just a copy. While the will is originally stored in my office," Paulan said in a cold voice. Laura immediately limp to hear Paulan's words.

Alea's response was inversely proportional to Laura's stepmother, Alea was indifferent to the will, not Alea did not care but Alea still hoped that her father could return home.

Pauran and Randy's job is done, it's time they both say goodbye.

"Then we'll excuse you" Randy said, saying goodbye. Afterwards the two people immediately stepped out of the house without waiting for the answer of the occupants of the house.

After Pauran and Randy left Laura looked directly at Alea with eyes full of hatred, whether since when Laura hated Alea. Laura had always been kind to Alea even more so when Macz was at home. I don't know maybe it's just Laura's pretend attitude to look good in Alea and Macz's eyes.

Laura and Gabby leave Alea alone in the living room, they both enter Laura's room.

"How is this?" gabby was frustrated.

"Just calm down, I'll find a way to get the inheritance" Laura tries to calm Gabby down.

"But how did ma'am?" ask Gabby.

"Mom will think of a way, you calm down first" Laura said. From then on, Laura tried to figure out how to get the inheritance given by Macz Welency from Alea's hands.
