Chapters 10. Mike.

Alexander arrived at his mansion at four in the morning. While walking towards his bedroom, he passed a medium-sized picture frame displayed on a television table.

Alexander lifted the frame and looked at it deeply. A look of longing was present, when the man's eyes caught the figure of his late father and mother. However, the look on his face instantly changed when he switched to the figure of another man who was there.

Alexander slammed the picture frame onto the floor and left it.

Lilyana who just came out of the room accidentally passed Irene. Both of them look good.

"Morning, Lily," greeted Irene as she showed off her wide, sweet smile.

"Morning." Lilyana returned Irene's friendly smile.

"How did you sleep last night?" ask Lilyana the girl.

"Quite soundly. I just need to adapt a little bit to the night breeze" Lilyana replied honestly.

"You're right. For those of us who are not used to living on the coast must be less comfortable."

Hearing Irene's reply, Lilyana agreed. They both went to the kitchen to help prepare breakfast. Lilyana was the one who took the initiative to make breakfast for them as a sign of gratitude for being allowed to live and work here. As a foreigner he knew enough to not linger in that place.

The breakfast Lilyana had made was not difficult. Just omelette eggs and ham. Not to forget a hot cup of tea was also made by him.

"Lilyana, you seem to be good at cooking" Cael said.

"Not really. I can only make easy meals without a lot of seasoning or cooking." Lilyana explained.

"That's better, than not being able to make it at all, right?" cael said as he glanced at his cousin's sister who looked greedy spending breakfast.

Feeling that her sister was insinuating, Irene immediately threw the napkin she was about to use. However, Cael swiftly caught him.

The interaction of the two cousins is certainly a separate entertainment for Lilyana on this sunny morning. Envy is clearly tucked away, considering his family was no less excited when at the dining table.

Suddenly enveloped Lilyana. The shadow of his parents last time became the most painful part he always remembered. Unknowingly, Lilyana's hand holding the fork shook causing her dinner plate to sound.

Irene and Lilyana stopped laughing.

"Lily, what's wrong?" Irene asked with a surprised face, when she found Lilyana speechless with a face full of tears.

Lilyana was shocked. He wiped his tears quickly. "No, I just miss the people in the parlour" she said.

Irene immediately hugged Lilyana's body tightly, as well as Cael who stroked the girl's hand. "They must miss you too. You can go home whenever you want, and I won't ban it" the beautiful-looking man said.

Lilyana nodded. Once again he thanked Irene and Cael for helping him.

The atmosphere of Flower's Bakery this morning looks more crowded than usual. All thanks to the presence of two beautiful young girls, Irene and Lilyana. Some men even overtly tease them by inviting them to dinner or just chatting lightly on the beach. However, Cael with a fierce face protected the two girls.

Lilyana had no confidence in the ferocious nature that Cael had. Because, from the outside, the man looks very gleaming and soft.

"I can guess your thoughts, Lily!" Irene whispered suddenly. "Seeing from the outside, she was indeed like a woman wa. Don't get me wrong, she's a former taekwondo and jujitsu athlete!" continue while grinning.

Lilyana was sobbed. Cael really is a mysterious beautiful man.

After two hours of non-stop serving the customers, Cael, Lilyana, and Irene were finally able to rest as well. They were now sitting spread out on the shop chairs with tired faces. Cael bakery was never empty of customers, but only this time they ran out of stock. It is possible that the entire islanders are flocking there.

"I'm sure fifty percent don't want to eat my bread, but rather see you two!" cael exclaimed with his chin up on the table.

"Good, at least my beauty and Lilyana were able to attract a lot of customers. That way the coffers of money will flow more, right!" sahut Irene with a proud tone.

Cael justifies though while sneering.

"Then, what bonus do we get, boss? Tired, here!" irene said as she raised her eyebrows many times.

"Cih, the first time work has asked for a bonus! All right, tonight I'm gonna buy you guys at the bar!"

Hearing that, both Irene and Lilyana cheered happily. The two even exchanged high five because they managed to get a fun bonus on the first day of work.

Lilyana, Cael, and Irene chose a seat not far from the stage.

"What do you want to order?" ask Cael.

"As far as you go" Lilyana replied.

"If I were certainly the best drink here. It's free to buy if you don't use!" Irene exclaimed with a loud laugh, which immediately made Cael look upset. However, he still ordered some drinks and snacks for the two of them.

After waiting for a while, an athletic man came to their table carrying an order.

"Mike's? You're at the cafe tonight?" cael asked when he saw the figure.

Lilyana was surprised. The reason, the man named Mike is a man who met him last night.

"Yes." Yeah." Mike answered briefly. He placed the order of the three of them on the table without saying anything. Even Mike acted as if he did not recognize Lilyana, even though the girl had given him the code.

"Please enjoy it" said Mike flatly, before leaving their table.

Lilyana sneers. His eyes were staring at Mike's departure.

"It's cold that guy!" chirps Irene.

"Kan, I told you not to be offended. He was so. One more thing, don't try to tease him!" cael said.

"Why indeed?" Irene asked curiously.

"You guys are kids! Find someone your age, a lot of people here!" answer Cael.

"How old is that guy?" This time Lilyana opened her voice.

"Nearly forty years, exactly thirty-seven."

Hearing Cael's reply, Irene and Lilyana couldn't help but squeal. Irene almost spilled the drink the girl was holding. Understandably, who believes in the age of Mike if you look at his physique.

"Are you lying?" Irene pointed at Cael's face.

Cael brushes Irene's hand. "Luckily what to me if I lie! Anyway, why are you guys that stupid? Don't you guys work together to tease her, huh?" Cael turned to point at the two of them with a probing look.

"SHEETS!" exciting Lilyana and Irene compact.

"When it's good-looking, my taste isn't om-om, you know!" ketus Irene's. Lilyana nodded her head.

"Don't pull your words?" Cael folded his hands on his chest and smirked. He and Irene again argue funny, while Lilyana again becomes their loyal audience.

"Hey, Uncle!"

Mike, who was busy cleaning the trash can behind the bar, was silent for a moment when he heard the strange call.

Who is uncle? thought. Feeling that he was not called, Mike resumed his activities.

"Uncle, don't pretend to be deaf!" The voice was heard again. However, Mike continues to tidy up the trash pile and collect it.

"Ck, after last night as a butcher, apparently you also become a servant as well as OB huh? I can't believe you're multitalented!"

Mike frowned. The man then stopped his activities and turned towards the girl who turned out to be Lilyana.

"Don't haphazardly call someone else unknown!" said Mike flat.

Lilyana shrugged her shoulders and walked over to Mike. "You're that old, aren't you? I know from Cael!"

Hearing this, Mike squeezed an empty bottle of canned drink, then threw it into the plastic trash. Inwardly he cursed Cael who carelessly gave information about him to strangers.

"Do you want what?" ask Mike coldly.

"You want!" lilyana answered briefly without any burden.
